You are now on level 2. You see a path leading east, and north, and a stairway leading to level 3, and the stairway up to level 1. I'll see if I can find a player map.
So you guys land, if you take a look at the level 2 map JC found for me, thank you, you all landed right above the skull in the center balcony. To your right is a large plaque that reads:
THE RING IS A PATH TO ANOTHER TOMB THE DEAD ABHOR SUNLIGHT. ONLY A JEWEL CAN TAME THE FROG. BOW AS THE DEAD GOD INTONED. INTO DARKNESS DESCEND.
From up on the original level, Bree calls down, "It means that we shouldn't split up!" Seeing Mal check out the stairs down, Bree will go down those stairs to meet up with the party, just north of the skull on the map, at the plaque. She will endeavor to bring Mal and Slither with her.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
OOC > I don't have any suggestions. I think we should probably engage one of these rooms, but it seems like maybe proceeding to the bottom of this central area might let us bypass a lot of stuff. But maybe we need stuff from those places to succeed later on? I dunno.
Bree
"Well these riddles are just maddening. We should be cautious, but bold." She rolls her eyes. "I think we should go back up to the top, and explore to get a sense of this place. Then we can decide if we just drive ahead, or if we will need to visit each of these paths. This place is itself a puzzle, I think, not just a collection of separate puzzles and riddles."

I'll be honest, there is a lot to explore in this part of the game, but it's basically meant to level you all up to about level 11, assuming you survive it all.
- You could walk all the way down and take on the final level and Acererak. This would be the shortest amount of time. - You could explore all the rooms and experience the whole adventure, this would take the longest amount of time. - We could do something else, like play another campaign, or another game entirely.
There's lots of things you can do. We can also take a break, or end the adventure, if it's taking too long. I know I tend to burn out, lose steam, or get bored after a while, since typing and managing this is a little work. Not that i'm afraid of work. But this adventure is long and if you guys feel like it's dragging on a bit, I can either get right to the end, end the game, or start another campaign. I also know that real life happens, and if we're not on regularly, this is going to take a very long time.
I have tons of ideas, and I have no problem DMing. So, whatever we decide, I seriously don't mind.
OOC: I’m actually absolutely fine continuing. We’re close to the final battle! It would be a shame to quit now! I believe we’re trying to figure everything out.
”That’s fair, Bree. You and Strawberry seem to have an idea of things most of the time. I’ll trust your judgement.”

Mal follows after his sister, keeping his quarter staff at the ready. He's taken to observing the areas they pass by quietly trying to spot any sort of danger, and with his attention focused on that he's trusting his sister to drag him around.
"I'm fine with anything you all want to do. Just worried about getting ambushed again." He rubs his side where the arrows the Yuan-ti had shot at him hit and taken him down last time. Not to mention that sword to the chest. Maybe he should invest in armor.
OOC: I'm fine with whatever you guys want to do. Though I would like to get this one done and set the siblings off on to a good life, preferably after they beat the tar out of Acererak.
Ooc: I'm good to go, had a busy couple of weeks but keeping up. Right now I'm dumbfounded about the riddles but they feel pretty important. More exploration is in order, facing acererak as we are would be futile.
OOC > Oooh. Good roll, bro.

Nothing.
Mal, it appears that the dungeon goes down for another 4 levels. Other than that, the details are hard to discern.
So Clayton landed on the balcony where the masked figure was, what does he see?

Why don't we do this. How about if we explore about 10 rooms, and then we will play out the final level?

OOC: I vote we go to First Floor, Rightmost Room with Glowjng Square.
