“Wow, that’s almost painfully easy. Why didn’t we realize that sooner!?” Clayton says as he puts his hand to his forehead, “Are these tulips!?” Clayton holds up some roses before throwing them away, “Dogonit! I don’t know flowers.”
As you guys reach the second floor, you noticed that the steps are incredibly crumbly. No matter how hard you try, you trip up and lose your footing with each step you take. Soon, you notice that you can't even progress anymore. No matter what you do, you lose your footing and constantly trip.
Another stick figured creature, this time wearing a bird skull, is waving around a parrot feather. As it holds it, it is able to climb the steps with ease, as if the wind itself was guiding its steps.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
If neither Bree nor Clayton's feathers work, Yasei will try to entice one of the local parrots to fly up to them and land by picking off a small chunk of food (lembas bread!) from our rations, holding it up in the air for all to see, and making bird noises (as best as she can), to get the attention of the local bird population. If one bird does fly up, she'll give the bird the little snack, and at the same time, try to pluck off one of the birds feathers. Nature roll, I guess? 9
If Bree or Clayton's feather's work, then ignore the above!
The feathers work, and you literally feel like you are being carried by the wind as you ascent to the next floor. The stick figure creature "cheers" for you!
Shariel looks up skeptically, "Well that's all well and good. But what about the rest of us?"

”Mal has another bandana, and it looks like these both have multiple feathers.” Bree will try to go back down, using her feather. If she can, she will hand off the feather(s) then use Prestidigitation like Clayton did to go back up using a magically generated feather instead.
At the end, she will reassemble Mountain Thunder’s bandana and put it back on with a satisfied sigh.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.

Musharib is coming with you all. You can always assume he is with you unless otherwise noted.
THIRD FLOOR
The third floor is an amazing sight. It is completely covered with swarms of snakes. The slither everywhere, but do not attack you all. The snakes do not let you pass, and there is no way over them due to the staggering amount of how many there are.
A third black stick figure creature wearing a mongoose mask is among the snakes, looking at you all. It carries a feather, an orange, and a tulip. The creature whacks one of the snakes with the tulip, making the snake angry! Then it strokes the snakes back with the feather, and calms it. Then the creature lays down, and the snake glides into it's mouth, and the creature gets up, and, like a snake, slithers up to the final level, undisturbed by the other snakes.
"Why did it have to be snakes? Oh, wait, I don't mind snakes at all." She approaches the writhing mass of snakes, picks one out (the prettiest) and attempts to soothe it with her pretsidigitated feather. If that makes it calm, she shrugs, gets down, and opens her mouth.
If that all doesn't seem to work, she'll try whacking it with her tulip first, then soothing it, then opening her mouth.
She's seen a lot of weird stuff.

OOC: Why do I keep picturing these stick figure beings as looking like Baby Groot? Sticks....get it? Ha!
Yasei smiles broadly. “This is a good omen. In my culture, snakes are a symbol of protection against misfortune and illness, as well as represent prosperity and wisdom!” She mirrors the actions of the <baby groot> with the tulip and feather.

Yasei takes one of the tulips and places it ever so gingerly in her hair. Looks rather beautiful, actually!

Make sure you do that once you reach the second floor lol =P

OOC: Prestidigitation says I can create one non-magical trinket, could I create a parrot feather?

Bree
"Oh!" She scurries over to Mal and grabs the feathered bandana from Mountain Thunder, and tries again to climb, holding one of the feathers.

You can, and see if it works, yes!
Alright, Clayton will materialize it, focus on continually casting it, and start climbing.
