OOC: Dwarf got a surprise round popping out of the door. Is that what you mean?
Loa's sword plunges into the dwarf but it doesn't relent. The sword also doesn't cause half as much damage as Loa is use to which is puzzling. Throwing itself yet again against the space Gareth feels resistance, push back on the door, but holds it firmly in the place where the dwarf can not escape!
Rattinger is up!
Thordilgon is on deck.

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Rattinger had positioned himself across the room with line of sight on the doorway, with all the commotion, he will position himself to the left or to the right (if necessary) to get a shot at the figure without striking one of his allies.
Bow drawn, Rattinger calms his nerves and steadies himself, taking aim at the presumably undead dwarf.
Attack: 22 Damage: 8
Assuming Loa (and possibly Gareth) are within 5 feet of the target, Sneak Attack? 7
After firing the shot, Rattinger will use any remaining movement to position himself for the next shot. He’s looking for a place with a clear (or as clear as possible) line of sight to the target, while also hopefully keeping a couple of church pews (or other difficult terrain) between him and the target in case it breaks free and charges.

Thordilgon speaks the comand words, "Boom Artilary" to his cannon and with a jolt it fires a force blast that looks to be in the shape of a fist at the crazed fellow dwarf. Attack: 13 Damage: 10 force damage
He then pulls his light cross bow and fires a single bolt at the dwarf Attack: 26 Damage: 7 Piercing damage
(Nice that I crit, crap that I rolled 2 1s out of the 4 d8s.
OOC: Point of order. Loa is huge guys, like Minatour huge. He's standing directly in front of the "cracked" doorway and y'all both are at range. Dwarf defiantly has 3/4 cover at least. Apologies for not mentioning it before but it'll add to the dwarf's AC bumping it up to 21 to anyone firing at range.
Rattinger's arrow hits, whizzing by Loa's large frame but doesn't do the sort of damage the old rogue is use to meanwhile Thordilgon's first shot of his cannon misses completely! Although his second shot whizzing under Loa's arm it doesn't leave much of a mark.
Gareth is up!

OOC: Coach how's Thordilgon changing from canon to crossbow? Is is more like a magical canon than tangible one? Canon is a BA correct? You'd have action, crossbow then BA canon? I'm confused.
(OOC: I assumed the dwarf would have major cover. But I didn't want to give the DM any ideas ;) )

OOC: Coach how's Thordilgon changing from canon to crossbow? Is is more like a magical canon than tangible one? Canon is a BA correct? You'd have action, crossbow then BA canon? I'm confused.
Based on my understanding, and word for word stuff. It is an action to make the cannon, once I make it, it is made. Now, there are three cannons that I can make, the force balista (which is what I said I made way back when we first entered the area)
When you create the cannon, you determine its appearance and whether it has legs. You also decide which type it is, choosing from the options on the Eldritch Cannons table. On each of your turns, you can take a bonus action to cause the cannon to activate if you are within 60 feet of it. As part of the same bonus action, you can direct the cannon to walk or climb up to 15 feet to an unoccupied space, provided it has legs.
I did say that the cannon has legs, while I would have been picking it up and carring it with me from point a to point b I would did say that it was adjusted and aimed at the door. There is nothing that states "how" it fires, seeing as it is magicial I am assumed that a command word would work for it, and not need a "gun bunny" as we call them in the millitary.
OOC: Coach got it. Nope Gareth specified he was holding it shut. I'm saying the dwarf pushed for a moment against it and swiped at Loa but it's not large enough to not have cover by the door itself and Loa large figure in melee with it. It's fair. 3/4 cover is present.

Pushing hard against the door the dwarf manages to push through as the pew slides away from Gareth's grip clattering to the floor releasing the dwarf who then rushes Loa!
Slam/life drain attacks on Loa:
Slam Attack: 24 Damage: 4 If slam lands: Life drain 11 from maximum HP; CON save DC 14 on contagion if failed subject becomes diseased.
Seeing the dwarf erupt from the doorway and attack Loa Longshadow advances making two strikes with his blades.
Attack 1 20 Damage: 10
Attack 2 12 Damage: 5
But only the last blow lands against the undead dwarf!
Arthos grits his teeth, looking for any way he can to web the dwarf while missing his companions. Seeing none, he does the only thing he can think. Realizing his lethargy in releasing the spell, he yells out in frustration.
“Dawn Father… NO! Throw the dwarf back in the room, back into the web!” He mutters to himself, “I remember when I was quicker… but that was 20 years ago”
Arthos aims his spell to be centered back in the room the dwarf came from. The tiny mass of cobweb expands into a cube of sticky webbing, stopping just shy of the melee playing out in front of him.

The dwarf lashes out at Loa, but he manages to deflect the blow. From behind he hears Arthos call out “Throw the dwarf back in the room!” As he heard this, his rapier flicked out to strike the dwarf and then lowered his head, using his horns to attempt to pick up the dwarf and toss him back into the room. Finally, Loa steps back 5ft out of the doorway and take up a defensive stance. Attack: 23 Damage: 8
Hammering horns - throw back 10ft Strength DC12
Hammering Horns
Immediately after you hit a creature with a melee attack as part of the Attack action on your turn, you can use a bonus action to attempt to shove that target with your horns. The target must be no more than one size larger than you and within 5 feet of you. Unless it succeeds on a Strength saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier, you push it up to 10 feet away from you.
(I will step back even if the hammering horns is unsuccessful)
