As everyone navigated the passage without incident, you would come into a much larger chamber lit by flickering lamps. There are four kobolds and one winged kobold inside. All five have their backs to you and seem to be looking over a ledge at whatever is causing the growling just below them.
Inglenook does well not to bring up his last meal with the stench thick inside the curtained area. He doesn't dwell there too long and opts for the slightly fresher air on the other side.
He trudges with the others carefully along the corridor, reaching the room with the kobolds.
He whispers to the others, "I say we all pick one each and push them over the edge? I can take the smallest one? Simple and quick I say."
The kobold Cale shoves is off balance and finds itself at the bottom of the chamber, based on how quickly it squeaks when hitting the ground, you would judge the ledge is about 10-12 feet high. In addition to the squeak, the sound of guard drakes comes from below the ledge.
Escobert grins and says, "Finally, enough of this sneaking around stuff; let's take the fight to them!" He grunts and shoves one of the other kobolds following Cale's lead.
Stealth 15
Athletics 10
(I'll take Travis' Combat Superiority roll added to Athletics or Strength depending on the move)
Escobert sends another kobold over the edge just as Cale's kobold falls! (Travis is up if they want to try; there are now 2 kobolds and 1 winged kobold at the top of the ledge)
Also, before mixing it up with the remaining kobolds in combat and/or subterfuge, you hear a voice through the psy-link: Kiari says, "Friends, I am deeply worried for the captives outside. I want to slip back through the cavern and see if I can help them make it safely back to Greenest."
Right now Cale, Escobert and Travis are closest to the kobolds while Inglenook and the Prof. are hanging back. (Any more actions before we likely go into combat?)
Cale glances worriedly back but cannot see Kiari. Steeling himself and drawing confidence that his new friend will be OK, he turns to the task at hand. Hands glowing with a soft purple light, he turns to Escobert and Travis, saying "OK let's go"
(Quick retcon to Escobert’s move in #931-932) Although Inglenook’s shove alerts the kobold, it is not enough to send it over the edge. Escobert exploits the element of surprise to send that kobold flying.
Escobert initiative 18
(I’ll roll for monsters after I see if Travis successfully shoves a kobold)
(I'll also roll as if everyone is crossing the passage now)
For Travis 6
For the Prof. 7
For Inglenook 10
For Kiari 2
Cale is first through the passage and sees the flicker of what can only be oil lamps.

"Good idea Shorty" says Cale in reply to Inglenook's plan, "I guess the flyer is fair game once the walkers are over the ledge"
Cale gets ready to sneak up on the kobolds and give one a shove:

The professor whispers back. “I’ll hang back here. I was never strong even when I was young.”

Travis nods and prepares to send one of the kobolds flying.
OOC: Travis can do a trip attack with Combat Superiority. Not sure if that would help in this situation.

The professor stands ready with his textbook, taking notes on Cale and Escobert as they shove the kobolds. Such form, good use of leverage!

Escobert smiles at Cale and says, “Aye, lad, let’s go!” He flings his robe back to reveal his axe.
(As soon as I get Inglenook and Travis’ initiative roll, I’ll roll for Escobert and the kobolds.
Initiative - 15
(Although, if allowed) Inglenook would have followed Cale and attempted a shove, as it was his plan and he would have followed suit.
Athletics - 5
(Quick retcon to Escobert’s move in #931-932) Although Inglenook’s shove alerts the kobold, it is not enough to send it over the edge. Escobert exploits the element of surprise to send that kobold flying.

Initiative 14
Travis shifts his shield slightly and presses forward, using it to smash into a kobold and hopefully send it flying.
Shield Bash 11
+3 if Str, +5 if Athletics
(Not sure if Superiority roll applies; is whacking someone with a shield a weapon attack?)
(Sorry for the super late post, folks!)
Travis sends another kobold off the side of the drop off!
Karl Kobold initiative 14
Wendy Winged Kobold initiative 18
Combat order: Cale, Escobert, Wendy, Inglenook, Karl, Travis, Prof.

Escobert swings at Karl Kobold with his battle axe Attack: 8 Damage: 5
Wendy goes after Travis with a dagger Attack: 20 Damage: 4
Cale projects two blades of purple energy from his hands, slashing out at Karl (and Wendy, if Karl falls).
Psychic blade (main hand) Attack: 18 Damage: 6 psychic
Psychic blade (off hand as bonus action) Attack: 8 Damage: 7 psychic
If a friendly is within 5ft of the target then the first hit inflicts an additional 4 psychic damage for Sneak Attack
