Finn whispers, "I'm for being sneaky. We don't know if there are more nearby to reinforce those here, and I really don't feel like dealing with an entire camp full of 'em."
As you continue through the narrow tunnels you begin to see a dim glow of faint firelight. Three shadows are cast on the wall before you. What do you do?
2 questions, are there any ledges close by, no more than 21ft high. And do I see any larger stones or rocks on the ground?
Sennet will look around the tunnels to see if there is anywhere he can jump up onto, after assessing the situation, he scans the ground for any large rocks or boulders. Whispering to the group. "If we all hide in the shadows, I can lure them out over here, and we can get the jump on them. If you'd rather wait to see if they leave, we can do that too."
"We -don't have to fight.-" Crowfell repeats, a little irritated. "Our spells are running low, and. Well. Let's face it. We are small fries. Without magic..." He just trails off. His hand waving a little.
"Then we can just approach. Unarmed and non threatening. Let them take us wherever they take us, and if we end up having to fight, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it."
Alex shrugs. "Gnolls are of no interest to me. I will say I am not the more coordinated person, sneaking isn't really my strong suit." He idly plays with his fire lizard companion and waits.

(Everyone: if you wish to try and sneak past the gnolls, roll a stealth check. )
"They're wild. Feral. It's not going to be pleasant, whatever it is. Listen here... we got people that aren't... built for frontline fighting. Without our magics, we're kinda outta luck... we can't just brute force our way through things..." Crowfell explains to Sennet as he crouches down, starting to tippity toe on past the gnolls.
"If we need frontline I have a friend or two who I can summon. They help me with my studies. When I research aggressive animals, I will often summon a friend to take their attention while I record notes," Alex says in an excited voice.
You all round the corner, pressing into what little shadows there are, trying to skirt the small gnoll camp, the distinct smell of blood and iron suddenly filling your nostrils as you can see iron spikes around the gnolls, with impaled body remains. On a nearby wall across from them is an ominous looking sketch of some demonic monster to which the gnolls seem to be looking at currently. For a moment Alex runs into a small iron spike and you all freeze, waiting to see if the gnolls notice....but they don't! A few tense moments later and you all manage to make it to the other side and out of the cave network, back onto a route towards Gracklstugh.
(Congratulations! You made it through the hook horrors caves! It is easy enough to find a place to rest, so you may take a long rest and everyone levels up! In addition, please rejoin this campaign: https://ddb.ac/campaigns/join/25923661437256064Thank you! Onward to Gracklstugh!)
They mention it's probably a day away or less, and then Shuushar speaks up. "Stool and I will part ways here to head toward Netherlight Grove. Perhaps we will meet up with you later."
(This leaves Buppido, Eldeth and the Twins with you still I believe)

"Gnolls!" Crowfell hisses to the others, ducking down. "We can sneak by them if we're quiet."
(Ooc: sorry for my lateness) perception:13

(Crouch to enter sneak mode...wait, wrong game)
Finn will stay in as much shadows as possible and will sneak just close enough to the firefight to see what's going on

DM, does Crowfell know about gnolls? Do I have to roll anything like history, or...?

(Sure, roll a history check!)

"How much longer?" Crowfell wonders of their goblin guides.
