(DM) Hey gang I want to try something. I had the same campaign on Roll20. I had to discontinue running it due to work, but I never delated it. I thought we could use it to keep track of things during combat. I've assigned everyone a character sheet, so when, or if you feel like it pop on over and fill it out.
Salman shoots his crossbow the moment the leading wolf enters his range. Crossbow:Attack: 17 Damage: 9 (OOC: Oh silly me! I forgot that Dread Ambusher can't be used on a crossbow without Crossbow Expert feat! …I hope my PC won't die until he reaches level 4 and gets that feat.……Also I forgot that I have double proficiency bonus with WIS check in the forest. Sorry, everyone. So embarrassing)

"By all that's holy, be off you beasts!" Yells Evrik as he grips his hammer. He lifted it overhead calling out to thr gods to make his aim true. He then swung the hammer down with both hands toward the direwolfs head. (Attack DW5: 6 Damage: 9)
(Gideon) Through a break in the mists, the Raven spots a large pack of wolves about 400 yards away moving towards your position.

Jingles, Salman, and Gideon manage to fend off their attackers. Ray-my isn't so luck as a Dire Wolf sinks its teeth into the Tabaxi's skin for 10 points of damage (p).
Ray-My needs to make a Strength Saving Throw (DC 13) or be knocked prone.
The Dire Wolf that's hanging back locks eyes with Gideon and slowly advances forward.
"Crow feces!" Jingles swears as his attacks miss. "Ye bleedin' buggers whattcha what with us, we bes pizen t' yer kind! Go eat a dragon, 'r better yet a Gith-type, they'll mess wit yer mind, not that ye has much o' mind behind them stupid mugs, ye abortions fathered by a sloth!"

Gideon's familiar will call out in Gideon's own voice, but as though spliced from different conversations, "ENEMIES APPROACHING... from the north... There's a bunch of them!"
Gideon himself will again attempt to strike the wolf attacking him.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Salman drops the crossbow and draws his short sword. These beasts didn't even slow down when they faced armed men. That means the wolves knew the advantages and disadvantages of projectile weapons. " Why did you attack the messenger! Who told you to do so! " The ranger calls out as he thrust at the injured dire wolf. He doesn't expect an answer, only wants to see how the beast reacts to the language.
Shortsword:Attack: 18 Damage: 6
Perception with advantage: 18
Natural Explorer
You have a favored terrain type. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for proficient skills when you make an INT or WIS check related to it.
