(@Squee: Wand of Magic Missiles... it can get up there, making it quite dangerous for early levels without packing a brooch of Shielding or having the Shield spell. Both fortunately available at the same level, though latter is class dependant)

(Oh, but please don't read spoilers that are prefaced with a condition your character doesn't meet. For example I hide (Stealth: 57) Spoiler: right around that corner!
Checking the spoiler would be very uncool... Unless you search 57 or higher as a response =P )
My character Lumimar probs gonna die bc of my mistake. Sad.
(@Snake: It's okay. Death in the Coliseum, if not previously mentioned before, is not permanent. If you would outright due to overkill or enough failed death saves, the body is dropped out of the arena and revived by the staff asap. You just won't advance unless its via the other previously mentioned ways; such as 2 match lost on the same level or victory.)

Koplony spots Gin Rummy looking around nervously, "No need to be nervous, you'll be called sooner than you realize. Best enjoy the time you have to drink."
When a serving maid passes by Koplony orders an ale. "Once you've been in a few matches you might actually find yourself craving a brief respite from all the fighting." At this Koplony will give a little laugh.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
"A monk, huh? You'll be well suited to this then. There's plenty of fighting that's for sure." Koplony accepts his drink and takes a healthy swig without pause, "Me, I'm a wizard and it's all I can do to stay out of harm's way." Another brief laugh escapes Koplony.

Baral sees the new person, Kopolony, enter the room. He waves and comes over.
"Another wizard? A pleasure to meet you." He picks up an ale as well. "Though you say you try to stay out of harm's way, I have a different approach to combat." He nudges the rapier on his hip.

"Talk to me when you've won a blinking contest with a Beholder!" Kopony looks from one to the other before blinking and then breaking into laughter. "Almost had you, admit it. Really though, I know better than to go anywhere near something like that."
"Maybe I'll bet on one of you if you face each other... or both if you end up on the same team."

(Would there be a place where characters could heal in between matches if they are going straight from one into another?)
(And does that also mean I need to switch from milestone to xp?)
(You are assumed to have had a long rest in between matches every time. And yes, you want to switch to XP.)

Gin rummy looks around for anyone else waiting for a match in the coliseum

When a serving maid passes by Koplony orders an ale. "Once you've been in a few matches you might actually find yourself craving a brief respite from all the fighting." At this Koplony will give a little laugh.
He laughs, sits at the bar and orders some for himself
“Nervous! I ain’t nervous! I just wanna get into the fray, show my stuff, that sort of thing! What’s your specialty? I’m a monk.”

“Aye! Look who it is! This guy, this guy can fight!”
he takes a big gulp of ale, the cup being almost half his size cause he’s only about 2’10
“what’s the worst thing you’ve survived on your journey so far?”
Baral scratches his head.
“Worst thing? I met a rust monster a few months back. That’s the only reason I carry more than one rapier with me. I suppose you wouldn’t have problem like that, though.”
