Panga nods at the others after she assess the room and decides it's clear enough. She says, "I will see what I can find down the other way," as she slips off the other direction.
Olaerys moves back into the central room and awaits the signal from Panga. He says in a whisper to the others waiting "Time for us to find who made these creatures rise from the ground. I fear that we will need to handle a necromancer everyone, be ready."

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Randall makes a careful twice-over of the pile of dead bodies and is able to determine that they are, in fact, dead bodies.
Randall circles the room several times, his confusion almost tangible. None of this makes sense to him. If there is a pattern, cause or explanation for how or why someone has raised these bodies from the dead, it escapes him. It strikes him as cruel, inexplicable madness. Worse, he cannot tell if any of the corpses here are folk from town, or just hapless travelers from the road.
With a sigh, he resigns himself to the task at hand - finding the source of this and putting an end to it. He joins the others to prepare to advance again as soon as they have the scouting report from Panga.

Panga creeps down the narrow passage which is about ten feet high in most places, with rough, irregular walls. Protruding spurs on the walls are coated in dried blood. The star-shaped cavern ahead has many clefts in its walls. Only two, across the cavern, seem large enough to traverse. Three zombies lurch about the area. One is costumed like a bear, another is dressed as a lady in a frilly dress and thick makeup, and the last is costumed as a jester with jingling bells on its collar and sleeves.
“I don’t know what the hell kind of strange circus show we’ve become involved in, but I don’t like it. Perhaps we could lure them into this room to attack them? Excellent scouting yet again Panga, you are a force to be reckoned with. Any other ideas? I would like to attack them here if possible.” Olaerys takes a knee to rest for a moment as they draw up their plans. He pauses for a second. “The bear. Do you think this is the rest of the carnival that ole what’s his name was mentioning out front? Perhaps some strange necromancer has a grim sense of humor.”

Lure, lure, lure. Hmmm. What could I use to lu... she thinks as her eyes get wide and happy
"I know Mr. Kuddlekins from back home."
she says as she looks at her paw then rubs the fur on her left hand using her right as she casts Minor Illusion as the image of a mountain lion appears standing at the center of the group.
"Will that work?"
as she puts her hands behind her back as she skips slowly forward towards the group.
"I can add some sound before I create Mr. Kubblekins then use it to lure them our way."
"A mountain lion? How about a bear cub? They had a bear for their act in their former life, perhaps they would be drawn to it. If you are able to give sound to it, wonderful, or just the image might be enough to draw them out. Or one of us could be the lure. I think if we can draw them into this room we could attack in force. Do any of you have a trap that we could lay on the floor, perhaps an animal trap? That might help too." He looks to all of you for approval and thoughts. "Life force should draw them out, I have heard that they seek life and try to end it, consume it, so just our life energy might be enough to draw them if they ignore the illusion."

Listening to Olaerys suggestion, Randall volunteers. "I will be the bait. But can one of you hold my torch?"
Assuming someone can, he will hand them the torch and then draw his spear. "I will advance about halfway down the tunnel, then make a little noise to get their attention. I cannot see so well in the dark, but once it sounds like they are following me, I will retreat back into the room. Be ready."
Randall will hesitate a bit to give everyone time to prepare (or talk him out of it) and then he will head down the hall.

Randall walks into the crevaced room and is noticed by the zombies. The zombie dressed as a woman raises its arms in mock fear as the bear costumed zombie slowly chases it. The jester zombie laughed (as much as a zombie can) and jingles it's sleeves.
You notice, however, that during this entertaining show the zombies are getting closer to you.
Olaerys hides on the southward side of the passage with a readied action to bash the first zombie that comes through the door on the head with his battle axe. He is standing in the square room with the central rock pillar on the south side of the passageway to the left, encouraging someone else to be on the north side to attack as well. "Let's crack them on the head after Randall lures them in."
Readied action battle axe to first Zombie that appears : Attack: 24 Damage: 7
Attacking with surprise and flanking, so advantage taken, but if it doesn't apply just take the first roll.

(Since no one offered, assuming he is still carrying the torch, otherwise he couldn't see this spectacle anyway) "Come along, creepy dead people. The circus is just down this way...". Randall will begin backing slowly down the hall. If it looks like they stop following him, he will pause and wave his torch around to entice the onward.

Seeing as everybody has moved over to the hall way, Fr'reona moves over to look down the hallway. She holds her Minor illusion spell of Mr. Kuddlekins to be casted behind Randall. Once he starts to make a run for it heading towards them in hopes the Zombie's fall for the illusion to hold them up so Randall can make his escape.
If the zombies continue their strange, almost sneaky pursuit, Randall continues to retreat back toward the group. Once getting back to the main chamber, he will turn and raise his shield, trying to block any more than one of the zombies from entering at a time (if possible based on spacing).
"All right folks... Light them up!"
Randall will hold his torch high to aid the view of his allies and really on his shield to protect himself. He will take the dodge action for the first round of combat.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The Zombies end the theatrics when they get about 10 feet away from Randall. Upon seeing Me Kuddlekins, they stop and try to attack him. It doesn't take them long to see through the illusion, but it's long enough to provide Randall some breathing room.
Randall is able to successfully block the entrance with his shield well enough to provide range attacks and limit the entry. (Based on the breathing room and his action im giving Randall first action)
