Rhogal swims closer to Kairus and re-assumes his dwarven form. Paddling on the surface now, the druid commands sea-faring fungi to illuminate the Plesiosaurus. They obey, and the large dino is now a beacon of light in the sea.
Yulmiath then thinks of a strategy that calls for him to swim under the huge beast. After doing so, and entering his rage-state, he then stabs upward with his axe. As it often is, the attack is accompanied by a little lightning sting. The creature's blood joins the dragonborn's in the water. (Plesiosaurus takes 11 piercing and lightning damage.)
His concern building up, Hun continues to slowly make his way to the action and commands Mr. Thicc to do the same.
(@MB: Just to be sure, the advantage on your attack was from Silvery Barbs and not Reckless Attack, right?)
(@MuggsHill: We do not use the flanking rule in this game.)
(Kairus's turn is still up. I'll resolve Krodhen's turn after that. I'll write a post on the Jump question in the OOC Chat.)
Note that he will make a three point landing, superhero like, one arm touching the water, the other holding the Flail up ready to strike...just because!

For a moment, it seemed he and Yulmiath will have to keep the monster at bay here. Dragonborn was past the need of encouragement and Kairus simply hissed at the silent lizard now, hoping to distract it: Vicious Mockery for 4 (Wis save DC 15)
Cutting words (for 5) are on the ready in case of a successful attack of the dinosaur.
Taking a break from swimming away for now, Kairus turns and tells the Plesiosaurus what he thinks of it. Unfortunately, it seems the magicked words fail to reach the creature this time. A bit disappointed, the bard then prepares to hinder the creature's next attack.
Krodhen is not yet done with his approach, but he completes it now with style. After taking a running start and opportunely castingjump on himself, the paladin leaps in the air while reaching for his new flail. Feeling even more heroic than before, Krodhen performs a three-point landing on a watery patch right next to the Plesiosaurus, lingering in that position for an extra second to internalize his new movement capabilities (or for badassery points.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Despite Krodhen's flashy arrival, the creature's attention is still turned to Yulmiath and the cut he just delivered to the dinosaur. Facing down, the Plesiosaurus attacks:
NOTES: There is a submerged ship is to the north (Sea Mare) and a partially submerged ship to the south (Virago). Unless you have a swimming speed or another solution for it, swimming counts as difficult terrain.
(Rhogal, Yulmiath, Hun, Kairus, and Krodhen can all take their turns.)
'Just keep swimming~ Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming~ Swimming~ Swimming~' Hun mentally chanted in mind in hopes of keeping further at bay whatever negative thoughts yet continued to plague his mind. Unfortunately, just after bidding Mr. Thicc to continue double timing it towards the action, a rogue thought slips through the forefront. 'There's just no way a shark shows up. None. Nada. No way.'
Action/Movement(Hun): Continue Rushing after the others to HT-63.
Bonus Action(Hun): Command Mr. Thicc to Dash.
Action/Movement(Mr. Thicc): Continue Rushing after the others to HI-63.

When you realize you're doing too much: Signature.
The reptile pretended not to understand simple hissing... Kairus switched to Aquan and repeated everything he thought about the behaviour of the monster in that tongue.
"Show him who is the boss here, Krodhen! His left head even dumber than the right one!" Added the triton in Common to inspire Krodhen's confidence (Bardic Inspiration to Krodhen)
Cutting words (for 3) are on the ready in case of a successful attack of the dinosaur.
With the beast easily marked, Rhogal summons some of the more aggressive spores in his arsenal. The tip of a flipper begins to rot. (Plesiosaurus takes 5 necrotic damage.)
Yulmiath also piles on with another electricity-charged attack. Thankfully, the spark is magically guided and on the weaker side, otherwise the dragonborn himself might suffer a shock in the water. Unfortunately, this also means the shock does little to hinder the dinosaur this time. (Plesiosaurus takes 16 slashing damage, including a rounded down 0.5 lighting damage.)
Kairus repeats the previously delivered insult but in a different language. the new tactic delivers the same result, as the creature ignores the triton's words, possibly by shear luck. Not about to waste a perfectly goo insult, the bard then twists it into an encouraging thought to be shared with Krodhen(Bardic Inspiration.)
Krodhen is encouraged to test his new weapon, landing its first real blow delivered by his own hands. (Plesiosaurus takes 7 magical bludgeoning damage.)

Despite Krodhen's flashy arrival, the creature's attention is still turned to Yulmiath and the cut he just delivered to the dinosaur. Facing down, the Plesiosaurus attacks:
-> Bite (Bane) vs. Yulmiath: Attack: 7 Damage: 13
-> Bite (Bane) vs. Yulmiath: Attack: 8 Damage: 18
-> If successful, the first attack to hit gets a -5 penalty from Cutting Words.
(@Blue: No need to use Cutting Words there.)
Kairus smiles as his spell continues to bother the creature. Both heads snap at Yulmiath but miss the dragonborn by several feet.
END OF INITIATIVE ROUND 3
(Rhogal, Yulmiath, Hun, Kairus, and Krodhen can all take their turns.)
Staying underneath the plesiosaur, Yulmiath continues his assault hoping to stop it from escaping into deeper water.
Attack: 16 Damage: 16
(Reckless attack with GWM. Spending BI if needed to land the hit 3)
As he lashes out with his greataxe, a jolt of blue energy jumps to the undercarriage of the plesiosaur.
(Standard DC13 Dex save or 1 lightning damage, half damage on a save.)
Rhogal uses the giant, glowing beast as a beacon for other seafaring molds to make it decay while it's still alive.
Flipper rot Attack: 10 Damage: 4

Smile still on his face, more so in fact seeing the shimmering outline, Krodhen swings the new weapon at the dinosaur

Hun and Mr. Thick keep swimming.
Kairus repeats the previously delivered insult but in a different language. the new tactic delivers the same result, as the creature ignores the triton's words, possibly by shear luck. Not about to waste a perfectly goo insult, the bard then twists it into an encouraging thought to be shared with Krodhen (Bardic Inspiration.)
Krodhen is encouraged to test his new weapon, landing its first real blow delivered by his own hands. (Plesiosaurus takes 7 magical bludgeoning damage.)
The creature continues to tangle with Yulmiath:
-> Bite (Bane) vs. Yulmiath: Attack: 10 Damage: 17
-> Bite (Bane) vs. Yulmiath: Attack: 21 Damage: 11
-> If successful, the first attack to hit gets a -3 penalty from Cutting Words.
(OCC: The first attack would still hit even after taking Bane's penalty into account, but the second penalty from Cutting Words forces it to miss.)
Once again, the magically hampered dinosaur fails to chomp down the swimming dragonborn.
