(OOC Ok, so here's my thinking: the mimic is stuck to Yully's axe; the axe has a long handle; Yully is good at lifting heavy things and swinging heavy things; let's see how this goes!)
Yulmiath looks at the thing attached to the end of his greataxe. This isn't how this works. He hits a thing. It either survives or doesn't survive. Yulmiath either hits it again per his something else. Once nothing is left to hit, he looks through your stuff and either takes it or leaves it. Later, he and his friends might cook and eat you. Those are the rules. That is how it works. You aren't supposed to hold onto his axe. That. Isn't. Fair.
Letting out a gutteral roar, Yulmiath strains his muscles against the weight of a now much heavier axehead. Grateful for the lever the haft of the greataxe provides, he lifts the axe and mimic into the air. Struggling forwards, he steps towards his intended target, the nearby pillar. Swiveling his hips, Yulmiath roars again, this time in triumph, as he attempts to pancake the sticky mimic against the pillar!
(OOC 2 - So, a lot to unpack with that, bit hopefully cool enough that it will fly. Spent Yully's inspiration on that dice roll, so fingers crossed.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nodding at Kairus's plan, Krodhen switches back to his Flail and holds an attack "Gotcha", peering intently into the shadows, waiting on the emergence of the creature into the light being cast.
(@MB: And... it rolled a Nat 20 which beats your 22 with its bonus. Sorry, buddy.)
Yulmiath tries to make lemonade out of proverbial lemons, putting all of his might in hoisting the sticky Urn out of the floor. The pull is quite strong, but so is the creature's adhesive power. As the two forces fight against each other, the weak point of the bond gives way. Yulmiath almost falls over as his axe comes free of the creature's grasp, while the Urn remains on the ground where it had been.
Hun had been thinking about ordering Mr. Thicc to help the dragonborn, but the latter clearly need no assistance in that department. So, the artificer tries his other plan, which starts by getting closer to the enemy. He then switches to a language he knows but rarely uses, leaving all other Snackers to only guess what words he is angrily yelling at the mobile vase. The kobold was clearly expecting a reaction... he gets none. There is a good chance the creature doesn't understand speech, let alone that of the deep kind. The raw-meat treat is welcomed though, but there is no telling if that would be enough to satiate the toothed Urn.
Mr. Thicc reacts. He bends his knees, hugs the Urn, and attempts to lift it up... but it is all to no avail. If anything, the construct is now grappled himself.
A few yards away, Kairus optimizes the plan he had been developing with Krodhen and Rhogal. The first step is to make the bear druid invisible so that the shadow is forced to choose a different target. Kairus hoped he would be chosen, so he could act as bait and simultaneously insult the shadow after it revealed itself in the torch's light.
Krodhen nods along with the plan and and gets ready. By the time they are done talking, BeaRhogal has already been turned invisible.
(@Muggshill: Krodhen would know by now that the shadow attacks with reach, so readying a melee attack might be quite inefficient since you won''t be able to move as a reaction to perform your attack. This is why I had readied a ranged attack with a javelin on your behalf last round. Unless I am missing something and/or you tell me that you want to keep the melee attack, I'll reinterpret your post as another javelin throw.)
Still munching on its fleshy snack, the Urn begins hoping southwestward and inadvertently dragging a stuck Mr. Thicc along. The creature does not use any of its sticky pseudopods or sharp fags this time around.
-> Urn is now at {KN-74} and Mr. Thicc at {KN-73}.
-> Yulmiath and Hun each have an opportunity attack against the Urn if they choose to take it.
Unlike Hun, Yulmiath does not pass on the opportunity to hurt the fleeing monster. Another slash causes the axe to be stuck in the Urn but it does not stop the creature from moving. In fact, its adhesive force once again beats Yulmiath's biceps. The dragonborn is left without his axe, which is now stuck to the enemy and 15ft away from him. (Urn takes 19 slashing damage.)
BeaRhogal, invisible, moves closer to the edge of the bright light being cast by Kairus's torch and gets ready to strike should the shadow reform within range.
The half-shadow pops back up a few feet away, moving closer to either Krodhen or Kairus, its ultimate target yet unknown. As it edges closer to the bright light, it also wades closer to an unseen bear. BeaRhogal attacks with his claws and, with a gasp of realization, the last shadow fades away before either it or Krodhen can release their own attacks. (Shadow#1 takes 4 slashing damage and is DEFEATED.)
"Oi! Come back here my axe, you jumped up bit of furniture!"
Yulmaith gives chase to the thieving urn and his hand instinctively goes to one of the handaxes hanging from his waist, raising it to swing at the mimic once he was able.
Attack: 8 Damage: 6
As he swings towards the mimic a though flashes across his mind; what if it tries to steal this one too?
Kairus exhaled with relief. As prepared as he was to meet the upcoming attack, "no attack at all" felt much better. "Was it the last of them buggers?" Just in case it was not, he left the torch on the floor and turned to look at the noisy piece of furniture, hopping around with Mr.Thicc glued to it. "Quite a stubborn fellow, huh? And not very friendly." Once he finished stating the obvious, Kairus made a few deliberate steps to get on the other side of the urn-Thicc construction and hissed at it the best disharmonic sound he could master, hoping it will be enough to send the thing under the Yumiath's blade again. "Get ready, Yul! Sending it back your way! You can finish the pot!"
Very relieved to see Bearhogal materialise to send the shadow to its resting place finally, he turns to take in the battle behind them, somewhat amused to see Yul and the others battling a piece of furniture and will close to make a strike (KO73 if he can make it there, otherwise KM73), making a smart remark to Yul "Furniture stole your axe?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing as the others weren't exactlin in a "merciful" mood, and realizing in hindsight the possibility of making something out of the creature's adhesive, Hun let out a dramatic sigh as he fished from his bag another ready made cocktail of frosty goodness to fling the urn's way. Though if even THAT proved not enough to finish the job, then with sharp order in draconic, Mr. Thicc abandons trying to grapple the thing to instead deploy some kind of knee cap covering made of rusty nails and drives it into the side of the creature.
Action(Hun): Cast (Cantrip)Frostfire Bomb on Urn. Con Save(DC 14) or take 5 Cold Damage and additional debilitation.
Action(Mr. Thicc): Cast Disruptor Fist at on Urn. (Melee)Force Rend - Attack: 19 Damage: 6 of Force. (if disadvantage due to creature trait: 20.

Yulmiath gives chase {KM-74} and swings his spare axe at the created. The bad news is that the attack misses; the good news is that this smaller axe is not claimed by the creature's stickiness.
Relieved to be done with the fight against the shadows, Krodhen turns to join Yulmiath's fight next {KO-73}. While moving, the half-orc picks up his flail from the ground and absentmindedly hums a tune he remembers Kairus playing by a campfire some days ago. When the time comes, he swings his weapon and splashes it against the Urn. It reacts as if it was made of jelly. It squirms in pain but it claims another of the Snacker's weapons. Krodhen's enchanted flail is now stuck on the Urn as well. (Urn takes 8 magical bludgeoning damage.)
Noticing the Urn was probably trying to escape, Kairus decides to cutoff its path and magically encourage it to turn 180-degrees. The only reason the bard's plan fails is because the creature begins to melt into the ground instead of fleeing from the sound of his cittern. In death, the Urn reveals its true form: an amorphous blob of goo. (Urn takes 12 psychic damageand is DEFEATED.)
As he searches his bag for another frosty vial, Hun misses the opportunity to witness the mimic's death in its entirety. Coming closer to examine it, the artificer laments as he realizes that the creature has seemingly lost its adhesiveness alongside its life. In fact, Mr. Thicc now stands back up with ease, albeit much dirtier than before. Krodhen's flail and Yulmiath's kobold-made greataxe also clang to the ground.
WE ARE NOW OUT OF INITIATIVE. YOU MAY DO AS YOU WILL.
Hun actually gasps before rushing and sliding over to the goopy remains to bury his hands in it. After lifting up a kobold fistful of the stuff, he holds his hands above his head and shakes them! "Nooooo! My super adhesive! How am I supposed to properly **** over the gnomes without iiii-ehehe-iiiiittt!"He cries out as a few GENUINE tears began to leak out. Mr. Thicc kneels down to try and console the old-bold with a few back pats, but that seems to not do much to improve his mood.
