Parsonis up! This whole time I have assumed he's been circling looking out for other enemies, which he has not found. He's also telepathically communicated to you, Ferg, that Fin is being flanked by three smaller creatures. You also know that so far, only Finhas taken damage but is still looking pretty good.)

Effulgyn, you are up. Do a Strength Saving Throw (DC12) to avoid being constricted and take damage on the creature's next turn, or something else that you think might motivate it to release you. Simply damaging it won't do the trick, I'm afraid.
Editing to add that while the three creatures have shot forth vines that are all kind of entwined together at this point, for the sake of simplicity let's assume you're grappled by Creature C.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Effulgyn STR Save: 12
(OOC: Effulgyn made his strength save and escaped. I’m coloring it using his conjuration ability as follows:)
“Oh no!,” shouts the halfling, feeling the vines twist around his legs. The young wizard blinks twice and conjures a pair of lightly glowing garden shears, which pop into existence in his hands. He claps them shut, severs the vine holding his foot in place, and escapes the grasp of the creature, running as far southwest as his legs will carry him, and dropping the shears, which disappear.
Effulgynsprints as far as the vine-covered ground will allow and finds himself under partial cover from some trees, but the vines swell underfoot even as he stands and assesses the situation. From his vantage point he sees that the vines are converging from the three humanoid figures, one of which is completely immobile--this must be the one that Fergput to sleep a few seconds ago. Unfortunately for Ferg, it was not the one whose vines entangle him--indeed, he is close to being constricted and will soon need assistance.
He can also see that there are no vines near Fin, further illustrating the fact that Fin is dealing with different (and perhaps less crafty) creatures.
(OOC Arcit's your turn. Creature A is in a magical sleep thanks to Ferg's sleep spell and is the only one that's taken damage. I have also drawn a circle on Creature C's center to demonstrate roughly where the vines are--they come from a 15 foot radius of each of the three creatures so we can assume Effulgyn is still inside the area where he can be constricted, as are you.)

Arcmoves as quickly as he can northward, readying a bolt as he goes. He is able to make it between two of the larger structures and just out of range of the vines. He sends a bolt hurtling across the clearing, directly into one of the odd, wooden creatures attacking Fin. It lands directly in the thing's chest--the thing explodes dramatically, sending splinters and shards of branches and twigs cascading like rain all around Fin and the two remaining creatures.
It is now the creature's turn. The one that's asleep remains that way. The creature whose vines are holding Fergclamps down on Ferg'swriggling body and he becomes restrained, but takes no damage as the vines have a hard time really clamping down on him in such a way as to hurt him. His hands are now bound, though, which mechanically means he can speak, but can't move at all in any other way, and cannot access his components.
The creature who was once holding Effulgynmoves toward him, with vines attempting to seize him again.
(OOC Effulgyn please make a DC 12 strength saving throw to avoid being grappled again. Here is what it looks like as of right now).

Fergsprints over to the center of the clearing, which is as far as the vine-covered ground will allow. From here he has a great vantage to witness Fin single-handedly battle the two creatures that continue to assail him. It's like a watching a poetry in motion the way he is able to dodge the incoming assault and avoid taking damage.
(OOC Fin it is now your turn. The creatures rolled too low to give you any damage but are still on you. Updated battle map here).

Parson will swoop down and distract the creature at position D (closest to Fin) so that if Fin attacks (he may want to run) he will have advantage.

Are the squares 10' or 5'?
Arc, seeing Fin outnumbered and having A sleep, he will move towards Fin and fire his crossbow at F. (NOTE: His crossbow is magical)
Crossbow Attack: 25 Damage: 7
D&D since 1984
They're 5. Does this change anything for you? Either way it's a hit and a kill.
