OCC: Tyrvan has the "Second Story work" perk. So when making a running jump, the distance he can cover is increased by his Dex modifier. I'm a little confused by the "Strength score" as well. Because if that's the case, Tryvan can long jump aprox, 19 feet. Should make clearing this ravine easy. Even without a running jump (which makes the distance half the strength score), Tyrvan can cover 11 feet)

The wording on the Long jump has always been odd to me as being able to jump 15 or 18 feet by running 10 feet is just stupid and unbelievable. Yet rules as written that is what it takes. If you move at least 10 feet in a given direction you can Long jump a number of feet upto your strength score.
Torla, if you run for 10 feet. you can long jump 18 feet. Tyrvan can easily clear it.

Brythel and Tyrvan, In sync get a running start and leap across the 6 foot gap. Simultaneously touching the earth at the same time, You both feel the earth move under your feet as it gives way, The ground not as sturdy as you had hoped. Both of you make a Dex saving throw.
Bean you saw that the ground was loose along the other side of the Ravine but were too late to warn as just as you were about to speak, Tyrvan and Brythel made the leap. You do see a single wooden trunk on the otherside of the ravine, It looks like it is in good shape and should hold the harpoon nicely. It is 30 feet away however.

I'll go ahead and say, the ravine is now 15 feet wide. Most of the earth on the other side has fallen into the ravine and is pilling on top of brythel

Brythel as you get up and catch your breath you hear the sound of metal hitting rock. Looking to the ground you see pieces of your revolver scattered all around you.

Bean thinks out loud. "So if he is 50 ft down. My chain is 20. He would need to climb 30 to grab it. Its possable. But hard. The trunk is useless because its 30 ft away."
Bean shouts down, "brythel, look around for anything you can use to help you climb or get you closer to us."
Bean would like to look around again for something like maybe a tree for torla to cut down to bridge the gap and/or lower into the rivene to help brythel climb.

Brythel, the revolver is literally in pieces. They are bent and many are broken. You do manage to salvage 3 shots but the rest is just un usable.

Josiah can make a long jump of 10 feet with a 10 foot running start. If he's only got to clear 6 feet, he'll readily do that.
Tyrvan eyes the ravine, gives himself a little room, and jumps to the over side.

Imras turns to Bean. How long's the chain on that harpoon?
(Guess I'm not jumping across anymore)
Bean confirms. "Its 20 ft long. We need to get brythel first but i saw a sturdy log on the other side we could use as an anchor to help get across"
Ooc: brythel, might want to do an inventory check. The bending metal you heard could be a gun.
Brythel as you get up and catch your breath you hear the sound of metal hitting rock. Looking to the ground you see pieces of your revolver scattered all around you.
