Chronicles of Eon: Eon: Survival at Sea (Approaching End Game) Dungeon Master Eon: Scorched Skies (The Story has just Begun) Dungeon Master Eon: City Of Graves (Summer/Autumn 2019) Dungeon Master
As Erik stands next to the pool with the cubs and thinks about hunting, a twinge in his shoulder reminds him that he was nearly mauled to death by a panther yesterday. He thinks he should probably do something about that. Bringing the cubs back to their little corner and doing his best to get them to stay there for now, he'll go looking for Torla.
When he finds her: "Ah, Torla, was it?" He'll groan through the pain as he shows her his shoulder where mommy panther's claws did the most damage. "You're one of those religious healer types, right?"
The CUbs do happily drink up, they are openly more active and playful now. Seemingly they have alot more energy. As you lead them back to the corner, they start playing with eachother.
Bean, There are plenty of those "Coconuts" around, Givin the fact that you have very short arms I'd say you can carry 3 at a time. So you grab 3 and bring them back to the cave.
The panther meat is cooking, Though it will take some time until it is ready to eat. The large animal needs to be constantly moved so that it will cook all parts of it.

Torla looks at Erik as if she REALLY wants to say something else, but then her face softens and she nods. "Come out here," she says, leading Erik out of the cave and to the side of the fire. She turns toward the human, reaches up and places her hand in the center of his chest without warning. With her other hand, she pulls her amulet out of her tunic. She closes her eyes and raises her chin so that Erik can see the peaceful expression that has relaxed her face into something beautiful. "O, father above," she smiles. "We thank you for your protection. We thank you for your provision. We thank you for your wisdom. Your servant ... " she peeks through one slitted eye, "Erik? Yes, Erik," she says without waiting for Erik's reply. "Your servant, Erik, now needs your healing power. I ask, Lord, that you will allow me to channel that power. That your spirit will renew him and give him strength. Thank you, father. Amen."
Ok, Forget that last part. You have cooked enough for everyone to have breakfast and fill your stomachs. After you all eat, you have roughly 3/4's of the panther meat left.

Erik remains silent and respectful throughout Torla's prayer, though he does let out an audible sigh of relief when he feels the healing energy permeate his body, focusing primarily in his shoulder.
"Thank you, Torla, very much," he responds with gratitude. Then he stares off into space for a moment, the bags under his eyes very apparent.
"We're going to need a lot more meat for the cubs before too long. Some hunting is definitely called for."

"Erik goes hunting along the coast." Even if anyone else decides to tag along, I'm fairly sure the rolls would still be the same, so here we go, all checks (but not the attack roll) at disadvantage due to exhaustion:
Survival: 8
Perception: 10
Stealth: 8
Attack: 23
OoC: According to the PHB, no disadvantage on attack rolls until Lv3 Exhaustion.
Erik, you step outside the cave and wander out into the trees. Moving fast and looking at the ground, you find a set of tracks and follow them for an hour. After some time they split off into 2 seperate directions, picking the one along the coast you follow it further until you come to the beach. Dumbfounded you look around to see nothing, Returning back to the tracks you realize in your exhausted state, you had followed YOUR tracks from yesterday all the way back to the beach. Now 2 hours away from the cave and feeling slightly defeated and tired. You start your journey back to the cave.
I mean 1 nat one is just fun. 2 nat 1's are rouuuuuuugh.

Erik will take a bit of time to partake of breakfast, then he'll address the group.
"I'm planning to go out hunting, though I'm not in the best shape for it right now. Anyone interested in coming with me?"
Torla took her meat in to eat with the cubs. She's just sitting near them, enjoying their company. She didn't hear Erik's question.
