While walking around if Vrah notices any small pieces of crystal on the ground, he will pick some up, mainly due to he like the shiny, but possibly they might be worth something.
Shoowaa looks a bit nervous and unsure if he should say anything, but resigns and talks to Phodxia. "I am not sure if eatting the mushrooms is a good idea, the drow were able to track us earlier from signs of foraging. But if I say anything and they see it as me being in thier way would they harm me for it?"
Phodoxia, scuttling silently along in the glow of the crystals and moss, thinks about Shoowwa's question from the goblins' vantage twenty feet behind Tanis. "We are already keeping watch separately and keeping our distance. If they become hostile because of a suggestion you make, we will be watching and we will know. But I think it's a fair suggestion---we did get found by some drow, after all---so you should say something. It could help keep everyone safe. But, we'll keep watching. I'll go with you to tell them, if you want. And, you have goodberries you could offer instead."
Shoowaa nods and reluctantly runs to Tanis. “U-u-uh um I t-think we should stop eatting the mushrooms. Um it’s not that I think we shohld stop eatting all together, but um we should probably stop foraging for food and cave rocks. Wayer should be okay but um… what I am getting at is the drow tracked us before by following our foraging and they might again. If we stop foraging then they are less likely to track us. …please don’t kill me.”
Nothing I do or say right now is going to convince Shoowaa and Phodoxia that no one views them as a threat the way Buppido clearly was. It had nothing to do with Buppido's race. If it did, Petmailer and Sarith would have been dead long before the derro. Buppido threatened to kill someone in his sleep back in the cell, then kept endangering the party through his own bloodlust. And even at the last, I held myself back (albeit barely) - it was Vrah that killed him. No matter. Tymora's luck grant it that Shoowaa and Phodoxia stay safe back there and so do we.
Instead he just nods. "I'll tell them. And I'll turn my back so you can go back and hide without me seeing you. I hope you two continue to help me covering our tracks. And communicate if you sense pursuit."
(Tanisturns his back and does not attempt to watch Shoowaa return to Phodoxia).
When given a chance during a break, Tanis will address the main group: "The goblins bringing up the rear suggested to me that the drow are tracking us by looking for signs of foraging. I think it's a good point. Between the foraging we've done already and Shoowaa and I casting Goodberry every day, I think we are doing all right with food. What do you think about skipping foraging opportunities for the next couple days at least? Same with the crystals - let's only take ones that are loose as Vrah was already doing, and not leave signs of our passage by breaking any."
Petmailer agrees with Tanis. “Thank you. I hope they understand that sometimes tough decisions must be made, or we would be all compromised and face death. I value their help, maybe with time they will feel comfortable enough to rejoin us, I don’t know. I agree with limiting the foraging so that we don’t leave a trail, that is a great idea.” He then turns and refocuses on tracking and scouting for the group.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The party makes its way forward through these passages. In what you estimate to be early afternoon, you enter a cavern dotted with stalagmites and stalactites. Those with a passive Wisdom (Perception) score of 11 or higher spot something:
You see a sigil carved into a stalagmite that looks like this:
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tanis asks the others in the group, particularly the original Underdark denizens, if any of them are familiar with the symbol (pointing it out warily).
He looks around at the current tunnel structure to discern anything different - does this look like a more newly carved path with less worn rock etc. Also, any tracks leading towards the stalagmite other than ours?
Vethna pauses by the rune and waits for the others to catch up. She points it out to the others in the group, anyone who did not see it already. (OOC: Does Vethna know what the marking represents? What sort of roll do I need to make?)
Vethna does not recognize it. Either Sarith or Petmailer would. It's a Drow symbol.
[Ooc: I'm giving Petmailer a chance to explain it. If he doesn't, Sarith can.]
Tanis doesn't notice any tracks headed specifically toward the stalagmite. There are signs of others passing through here, but you can't tell how recent. Other than the carved symbol, nothing else strikes you as being unusual about this cavern.
Petmailer holds up his hand, pulling Vethna back and crouches down. "That sign, I recognize it. In my language, this is a symbol that is a warning, saying to anyone who approaches "Demons Ahead!" We should be cautious. Sarith, come here please." He shows him the symbol and nods with a grim look on his face, pointing at the symbol. "Where should we go from here?"

There aren't any on the ground, but there are plenty on the walls you could break off.
Shoowaa looks a bit nervous and unsure if he should say anything, but resigns and talks to Phodxia. Tanis agrees to keep moving forward, continuing his rear scouting (with the goblins still further behind him).

Vrah would only grab any crystals that might be on the ground, breaking them off the wall could possibly leave a trail so he woudl ignore those.

Vrah looks back towards where he thinks the goblins might be and quietly says, "Great idea put forth, thank you."
Petmailer agrees with Tanis. “Thank you. I hope they understand that sometimes tough decisions must be made, or we would be all compromised and face death. Vethna nods. "Agreed, leaving as little sign of our passing would be for the best." She too moves back to scouting the path ahead.

Kisiki frowns at the strange symbol. "Demons...?" he ponders aloud. "A creation necessary for balance, but dangerous. We should tread carefully."
Is there moss or similar nearby?
