There is water seeping through from somewhere above this passage you are in. It is a slow trickle, but it is splattering down on the rubble and beginning to form puddles on the floor of the passage. Eldeth calls out to the group. "Are you guys seeing this water? That's not good. If water is seeping in from up above, there must be a pool or stream over us."
Petmailer points his finger in the general direction of Sarith and sends a message to him, “Are you alive? Did you make it? We are blocked, can you see a way to rejoin us?”
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Neither of you gets a response from Sarith, either audibly or through the spell. But Petmailer, you know from past experience that thick stone can block the message cantrip.

Tanis looks up, then down at the puddles. He thinks telepathically at those in connected by Stool: "If water is going to fill these chambers, we need to find an alternate way out quick. We should try the opening to the north. Eldeth and Jimjar, we'll keep sending you messages as long as the telepathy holds up and maybe we can circle back and meet up."
He looks around at the caved-in passageway. "I am not sure that we need any rear-scouting at the moment. Vethna, Petmailer, shall we scout the front?"
Tanis moves slowly and carefully into the northern chamber, staying in the darkness where he is invisible to darkvision and looking for hazards or tracks of any creatures.
(Stealth rolled at advantage due to being in darkness and invisible to darkvision, but use first roll if perceiving creature has blindsight or some other sense in range.)
As you move forward into the next chamber, the first thing that hits you is that these areas have likely been sealed off for a very long time. The air seems thin and very stale. There is water trickling down the walls in places where cracks have formed, but you think that is a new development caused by whatever created the cave in. There is absolutely no light in here at all, so even those of you with darkvision can't make out much. The cavern ceiling is about 15 feet high. The walls and floor of the room are natural stone and don't show any signs of having been worked. The walls look like they were eroded by water, not shaped by tools. Up ahead, a narrower passage leads out of this chamber, then immediately has a T-shaped intersection, with passages continuing to the left and right. The only sounds you hear are water dripping and trickling.
Jimjar sends a message to whomever is staying back near the cave in. "Eldeth wants to scout back a ways and try to find a passage that will connect around to where you are. I'll stay here for the time being to try and maintain some contact with you. I'm afraid if we move too far apart, we may lose each other. If we do get separated, we should all try to find that big rift and meet back up there."
Let me know 1) which way you're headed 2) a general marching order and 3) whether you are doing anything to create a light source.

The new side passageway seems the only way out of the small mess of scattered rocks. But where does it lead? Picking up a small stone to take with her, Phodoxia scurries ahead to where, in her darkvision, she can perceive the intersection. Looking back and forth, she mumbles something and flings the stone down the rightmost passageway, casting Light on it just as it leaves her hand. Bright light leaps from the stone as it hurtles down the passageway. Phodoxia tries to melt into the darkness of the leftmost passageway, watching her stone, and also keeping an eye for what she can see her hear down the passageway she has hid herself in.

Petmailer joins Tanis and Vethna to scout ahead to the north. He uses dancing lights to create four torch like lights to move ahead of them, lighting their way and looking for any new cracks or areas of unstable rock.
Vethna takes the lead,as usual, and agrees that checking the right passage would be the best option to join back up with the dwarf. She doesn't bother with stealth, not with rocks being thrown with a light spell attached. She does keep her eyes open, though the combination of the sudden light and the deep darkness has her a bit dazzled at the moment it seems. (Perception was rolled in the game log, total of 11.)
The right hand passage moves down to a natural cavern. It's a dead end. You see no exits out of it other than the way you came in. There are cracks in the ceiling and the walls that glisten with dark dripping water. You notice the water is beginning to collect in pools and puddles on the floor.
Phodoxia's pebble lit up most of the passage on the way here. I'm assuming the dancing lights move ahead to light up this chamber. You see no tracks or evidence that anyone has been in here in a very long time.
As the group moves unmolested into the dead end chamber, Phodoxia quietly creeps after them. Looking around and seeing with the others nothing there, she comes out of the shadows to retrieve her lit rock and, running back the other direction, tosses it down the left passageway, and hides again in the shadows to watch it.
With the light source present, Tanis again hangs back. Staying in the darkness at least 25' back so he is out of the lit area, staying in the darkness near the T-intersection, looking down both passageways while the group decides what to do.
Phodoxia's pebble bounces along the rough stone floor, then it skips through a narrow passage and lands inside another room. You can't see too much, but it appears on the other side of this opening is a room of worked stone. Phodoxia is watching from the shadows. Tanis is hanging back. Fargas excitedly says "Ooo... I wonder if this could be the lost tomb" and he rushes up to that opening to peer inside. If you all move down the other passageway, let me know who is scouting ahead. I'll post an image in a second.

"SARITH! CAN YOU HEAR ME?!" Shoowaa will put his ear to the rubble to try to hear for the drow. 20

And to be clear, Fargas is excited, but not an idiot. He went up to the opening to peer through, but did not rush into the room.
Shoowaa will go to follow Proxdia, trying to get his barrings and try to find a way to getaround the collapsed ceiling and find the Sarith.
