"Mushroom? Oh! How did Greko miss that? Hmm that doesn't look familiar to me....I haven't seen a mushroom that large before but I wonder if it would go well with an egg scramble"
Oten regards the mushroom and then thinks back to the inaction of the previous room’s occupants. He slowly but calmly walks toward the mushroom, halting to kneel when he reaches the corpse.
Giving it a quick inspection, he turns and says “This body has been here a while. Perhaps a few weeks.”
Rum turns the bag inside out. “Just an empty bag, although it appears to be magic, like yours Ro”, he says, turning it back to normal and slinging it across a shoulder.
He sweeps his gaze across the rest of the room, finishing with the trap door.
”I am not sure I care to open that trap door, shall we go back and check another room?”, he asks, ready to follow the others out if they agree.
"Oh, that's a good find. Nothing else in the room gives off a magical aura," Ro says to Rum and the others. Ro checks over the area with the furnace for anything of use (ingots, tools, weapons, etc.), before returning back to the group.
"I'm not one to leave things unchecked, so I'd like to check out the locked trapdoor. If not now, then later when we've surveyed the rest of this floor. What say the rest of you?"
Greko looks around the room as he begins to rattle off question after question "It is odd to me that there would be a furnace and beds within the tree...Who lived here? Where have they gone? Perhaps locked below? Captured? Worse? Would lighting the furnace help us in ridding the darkness from the tree? So many questions, so many questions"
“Let’s check out the rest of this floor before we look to venture up and down, we may get more answers with less risk. It may be the trap door is a prison but just as likely a cage of some kind for some thing they summoned”, Rum responds to both Greko and Ro.
“I would go and search the west door in the other chamber myself, but after seeing this trap I would rather we stick together”, he adds pointing at where the runic circle was / is.
The room to the back of the first room is dark and has four holes in the floor. A busted bookcase lays against one wall, and there are elongated forms wrapped in webbing...they appear to be humanoid. There's a locked chest and a reinforced crate in the room, as well as multiple barrels. There are some open crates, empty cages, and a busted circle of some sort as they enter the room...

Ro listens to Rum's suggestion and nods, "Sounds like a plan. Then it's off to the western room."
The elf-dwarf follows his friends into the next area and stops them before entering the new room, "Ah, hold a moment! Oh nevermind, it appears this rune has already been set off." Ro takes a moment to survey the room and becomes visibly perplexed. "Nothing else seems to give off a magical au-" Ro stops himself abruptly, his face visibly perplexed, "That's odd..." Like a moth to a flame, Ro is drawn to the reinforced crate at the center of the room. He continues to mumble to himself, "I don't understand, how is that possible?"
Ro pulls out a crowbar from his bag of holding and attempts to pry the crate open.
Rum wanders out the second room stopping for a short interaction with Lelith on the way, where he hands over the bag of holding with a smile.
Entering the room to the west, he stops for a moment as instructed by Ro, then watches the elf-dwarf wander over to the reinforced crate, muttering to himself. Scanning the room himself, his keen eyes focus on the bodies in the webbing, and the holes in the floor.
Keeping his senses alert and a wary eye on the four holes, he wanders over to examine the webbed forms, trying to determine if they were alive and how long they had been there. He assumed some sort of spider or spiders were responsible, but had they been webbed before or after they died.
"These bodies were ensnared in webbing, then the life drained from them", Rum says as he examines them, then his focus turns fully to the holes, his ears swivelling towards them before his face moves.
"I hear skittering, something spider-like is down the holes, and I think they are on their way!", he calls to the others.
Lelith's eyes lit up as she recognized the design and make of the Bag of Holding to be of Sheikah origins, she felt its artful and delicate texture before putting it away. She'll transfer her own belongings there.
For now, she kept her attention on every nook and cranny for potential enemies. Crouching low as she moved carefully, her pointed ears twitching every once in a while as they react to sounds. The hunt was on. "Not only the holes, they're also above us."
Lelith with swift and natural moves, as if she had practised this a thousand times, aimed her bow above her and shot. The spiders have now been marked as prey.
Lelith's arrow darted up into the dark and then there was the meaty, thudding squelch of the shaft sticking into meat. Something chittered and then fell to the floor, curling in on itself, dead... A bizarre spider with one big, glowing yellow eye in the center of its face. Three of its legs were too big and it looked like a tripod, the other five legs designed to grab and pull a target to its mouth...
The room was suddenly alive, three more of the things on the ceiling, and four coming out of holes on the floor.

"Ro eyes up!" Kazek shouts to Ro, forcing the elf-dwarf to shift his attention from the crate to the immediate danger at hand.
In one fluid, practiced motion, Ro casted Dragon's Breath and blasted a cone of lightning energy towards as many spiders as he could (whilst avoiding harming his allies).
If his movement did not trigger any opportunity attacks, Ro moved to the southern wall.
(Dragon's Breath: Enemies make a DC 15 dexterity save or take 7 lightning damage. Half damage on a successful save.)
Rum watches as a spider-like creature appears from the hole next to him at the North West side of the room. He takes a moment to scan the rest of the room, spotting a number of other spider creatures coming out of holes, and some descending from the ceiling. He can see Ro once more utilise his lightning breath, and even Kora tries to fight them off.
He then turns his attention back to the one next to him. He steps onto one of the cross bars on the cage next to him and uses it to leap up even higher than normal, coming down onto the spider creature with a knee. As he connects with either the spider or the floor, the contact point ignites with draconic flame. He then uses his momentum to flip back up slightly and aims a kick to it’s big yellow eye as he lands. The contact point again ignites, this time with draconic cold, as he looks for weaknesses.

The Gohma Soldier that Rum attacks gets pummeled and hurt pretty bad. It rears back, trying to save itself while thrusting its underside forward and spraying Rum with webbing.
"Kora. Sorry. Keep close to me." Lelith ordered sharply. She was a long-range fighter, and she usually kept clear of enemies. It would be much safer for them to be beside her than with her companions down in a melee with the arachnids. She knocked an arrow at the closest threat to the two of them.

The door is quiet, as well as the rest of the room. It does not appear there is anything else of interest here...

The lightning breath arcs over three of the spider creatures. Two of them scurry back, but one gets hot head on, singing it.
One of the smaller ones lunge for Ro and attempts to sink its fangs into his leg.
Kora, seeing the thing go after Ro, hurls a tiny ball of fire at it, burning it across its abdomen.
