"Can I help you find the beat? You seem to have lost it." Gelin scoffs at the drummer, casting Vicious Mockery for 4 psychic damage and disadvantage on next attack on failed save (WIS DC13).
Waiting to see how those attacks all played out before deciding on Morgan's course of action.
Time to freak out a goblin!!! Enjoy!

With the shift twang of the bow, Carodoc’s arrow catches the goblin dancing around the fire in the center of the spine. The arrowhead appears through its sternum and it drops in a heap not even making a noise.
The goblin banging on the drum starts to laugh, as it looks as though the dead goblin had just tripped. In a split second, the drummer watches as a beam of energy slams into the other goblin. It’s green energy beam smacks into the goblins throat, burning away enough to nearly decapite it.
The drummer stars to hear the mocking tones of Gelin and clutches his head trying to shake the voices away. 14
It manages to push the insults away, and stops drumming, looking around and spotting the attacks. Going for its weapon, it starts to run towards the cave (does not actually get to move because it is not it’s turn)

The paladin is holding his action trying to impede the goblin to enter the cave, so if he sees it moving he will move to intercept and will try to shove it with his shield to make the goblin fall prone.
(OOC: 50/50 it knows common. 11+ it does. If so, then sure... I will give advantage. 5)
So...are you saying that's no advantage because it doesn't know common? Even though Awakened Mind allows ANY creature that understands at least one language to understand your telepathic speech?

(OOC: I didn’t realize that, my bad. Sure, roll with adv.)

RETCON FROM PAST POST: The goblin hears the mental command from Morgan, and though it does not understand Common, it is terrified of the voice speaking in its head. It drops its weapons and cowers on the ground, clutching its head and shaking. (The rest of the party still does not know what Morgan is doing however.)
The paladin, with the situatuin under control with the goblins, then turns towards the entrance of the cave in case the conmotion will bring out more goblins. He moves to one side of the entrance, not to be just in the middle of it and to be able to rush into any enemy that came out of it.
Frixori moves towards the cowering goblin seeing that it has essentially surrendered. Nodding to Morgan, "It seems you have a volunteer here for questioning. Hope he proves useful."
Caradoc rolls up to one knee and stretches his bowstring again. Seeing that the goblin is now unarmed and cowering, he turns his attention to the cavemouth, ready to launch another arrow if an attack comes from the cave.

Morgan strides forward out of the trees towards the goblin, doing her best to stand tall and imposing in her dark dress and robes. She'll also use Prestidigitation to make a faint breeze and cause her robes to billow, while also shooting harmless but very visible sparks from her hands.
*I am Morgan, Daughter of the Feywild, Breaker of the Titchwillow Coven, Mistress of Eldritch Secrets. Your kin have incurred my wrath and brought about their own demise, yet YOU might prove useful to me. Provide me with the information I need, and you MAY yet live!*
As she finishes that telepathic message, she draws a pinch of salt and soot from her component pouch and throws it into the air above her with a flourish, uttering an eldritch command to the air itself and casting Comprehend Languages. Then she refocuses her piercing gaze back on the goblin as it cowers on the ground.
*WHAT SAY YOU?!!*
Let me know if you want to make another intimidation check or just stick with the first one. :)
The small goblin, wearing not much more then tattered leathers starts to wet herself with fear from the powerful Fey like creature that is Morgan in front of her. "What would you have me tell you mistress... My clan will follow you as much as our current master I am sure..."
her small rough voice with the shaking, quivering of their language makes it hard for you to understand with the additional shaking in the fear in her voice.
"A man of your species... but with scales and the breath of fire. He is gifted from the gods of chaos themselves!" The voice is reedy and shaky. "He had us wait for travelers heading towards the village... None shale pass he said. Please great mistress... please do not harm poor Auga."
*Auga is your name, you say? Tell me, Auga, how many people have you stopped on the road since this scaled one bid you do so? Have you slain them all, or does the scaled one prefer them captured?*
Billowing continues, but Morgan is slowly beginning to relax her tone. Her face, however, remains impassively stern.
Just want to say, I'm wonderfully amused that everyone else is just standing around watching this terrified goblin babble incomprehensibly while Morgan just glares at her silently. :D
"What's he babblin'?" Gelin asks no one in particular. "Someone should tell him his drummin' is atrocious, and he should feel bad about inflicting such a racket upon us." He approaches the cave entrance and leans against a wall just outside with his battleaxe hefted casually over his shoulder.
Auga starts to cry in fear, hideous in her goblin visage, but the youth of her face can be seen. "Auga not kill anyone good mistress. Auga play drums and cook fish. Auga not know. In cave captives kept. Please good mistress. Please let Auga go. Auga run north back to Cave of Wave Echos where Auga from. The Scaled one came and took us. Forced us to serve. Please let Auga go."
I have been working on a Slight Homebrew for a Warlock class. We have only just started, so if either of the Warlocks wants to alter the character let me know. The patron is the Queen of River Reeds. She is an unusually powerful Nymph Fey that came from the "Lorelei", which is a high level Fey Nymph. She is trying to reach Archfey status and by all rights is one already, but the summer court has not acknowledged her.
Frixori takes aim on the goblin playing the drum and fires an eldritch blast. She moves between the remaining goblin and the cave entrance.

DM, any chance I can get advantage on that Intimidation check for using the mystical mindspeak approach?
(OOC: 50/50 it knows common. 11+ it does. If so, then sure... I will give advantage. 5)
Had to RETCON this. See post 211:
The rest of the party has no idea what Morgan is doing as she tries to command it mentally. (This is still correct)
(OOC: back to the top of the initiative order.)
The paladin is holding his action trying to impede the goblin to enter the cave, so if he sees it moving he will move to intercept and will try to shove it with his shield to make the goblin fall prone.
18 to attack
PbP Character: A few ;)

*Who is this other master you speak of?*
She stops sparking from her hands but continues to billow her robes every few seconds.

Abilities gained from the pact
Even if none of you are interested, I would be curious to see what you think of it. I have been trying it out IRL for a pirate style d&d 5e.
