"Well, I guess we're in this together..." Stun says to Maverick and Eskee.
Stun then turns to Sir Gladmore and shouts "Gladmore! be sure to keep the peace in the village! Also, keep and eye on Kotter! He tends to do what he wants!"
As this all is going on Mavericks expression changes from joking around to emotionless and he stand up slowly as they get surrounded and begins scanning the area for a "just incase" plan. he looks at Stun and Eskee and nods to confirm that they are in this together and he is ready for whatever comes their way.
The orcs take you to their village. "For now," the Chief explains, "you are our guests." He takes you to a small hut on the outskirts of the village. "This will be where you stay until the Eye returns. You are free to do as you wish, but know this, my warriors will be watching you closely. Any mischief, and I will not hesitate to lock you up." He opens the door and directs you inside, posting two guards outside.
“So… anything we should do before they get back? I can try to have a look around again, but since I don’t speak the language I’m not sure how useful that would be.”
Stun says out loud, "Well, doesnt hurt to look around and attempt to talk to the Orcs here. Worst case, they give us the cold shoulder. Best case, we make a brunch of friends. Also, i wonder if we are able to visits the Eyes study."
"I wonder what orcs are like when there not raiding and killing..." Stun will wait for the others to go explore the Orc Village....
Okay. As you go out into the orc village, you see orcs cleaning and sharpening their weapons as small orc children play a game of tag. Some of the orcs are standing around talking and bartering at what seems to be a central market. An older orc leans against a small shack near the market smoking a crude looking pipe.
"I speak Orcish," the old orc replies with a puff of smoke, "and a bit of humanish, too." He laughs, causing a cloud of smoke to cover his face before it dissipates.
Stun replys to the old orc, "Hello there sir..." He bows with hands over fist, "We are new to town and guests of the Chief. Are you the village elder?"
"You could say that," the old orc replies with a puff from his pipe. "Although this town doesn't seem to have much use for its 'elders' lately. You adventurers are friends of the Chief? Need a guide? I'd be willing to help you out. For a small fee, of course," he says rubbing his right thumb and forefinger together.
"Someone to help you communicate with the shopkeepers and locals," the old orc replies with a puff of his pipe. "Someone who could show you around town, the best places to go and the places to avoid."

Sir Gladmore waves and gives you a thumbs-up as he departs with his guards and the Eye.

If we don’t have anything else to do Eskee will take an hour to attune to the headband of intellect.

"No," the Chief replies. "Just watch yourselves." He leaves you with a grunt.
It is early afternoon when the Chief takes his leave of you. What are you guys doing?

Okay. As you go out into the orc village, you see orcs cleaning and sharpening their weapons as small orc children play a game of tag. Some of the orcs are standing around talking and bartering at what seems to be a central market. An older orc leans against a small shack near the market smoking a crude looking pipe.
“Any chance one of you speaks Orcish?” Eskee asks Maverick and Stun.
Nope
"I speak Orcish," the old orc replies with a puff of smoke, "and a bit of humanish, too." He laughs, causing a cloud of smoke to cover his face before it dissipates.

"A guide you say? For what? What kind of stuff is around here that we would need a guide for?"
"Someone to help you communicate with the shopkeepers and locals," the old orc replies with a puff of his pipe. "Someone who could show you around town, the best places to go and the places to avoid."
