Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I was very sick for the past few days. Can anybody tell me whether or not the map we've been using from Inkarnate is a template map, or did one of you make it?

Having only checked out incarnate briefly myself, I would say that it was hand-made. Also all maps we had so far differed quite substantially, I guess because everyone made them themselves. On top of that, I think, some features of the last map may even require a subscription to get access to them.
I would recommend you to keep it as simple as possible and don't lose too much thought on the map. It can also be any circumstance that you'd like, for instance, you could decide whatever you wish to happen to us may happen on our way back in the middle of the forest, or on a road, or while investigating a cavern we stumbled across, or anything you can think of. It does not necessarily need to be while we are still in the clearing.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
For what it is worth, I had never used Inkarnate either. I just scrubbed a bunch of trees off of a tree map and the "dirt" just appeared. The trickier part for me was figuring out how to change and share the image. I am sure there is a more convenient way, but I ended up exporting to Imgur and posting the link here.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I'll be busy tomorrow morning, so I'll post Initiative just in case already.

I've decided to pit us against a threat off the table, if that's okay with everyone. I'll run Lan and Egan on this adventure, and I already have Rizo and Minty's initiative. So I'll set the scene, and then we'll get Justin and Lilgrea as well.
The party completes their rest, leaves the clearing and begins trekking back to the village. Though they know the route back, the Forest of Wonders is a strange entity, and the magic of this place seems intent on steering them off course.
Half an hour into the journey home, they pass a large old and gnarled tree they don't remember seeing before. The ground around this tree is mossy and thick with mounds of mud, and the tree itself has a strange, almost sentient presence.
As they near the tree, it suddenly moves one of its large branches lashing out toward Egan at the rear of the party.
Egan (passive perception 14) makes a Dexterity save to try to avoid the ten-foot reach of this awakened tree.
Egan fails to avoid the large branch suddenly swinging his way and is subjected to the creature's Slam attack.
14
He takes 14 points of bludgeoning damage and is badly hurt.
Okay, I'm rolling for Lan and Egan, and once we get the others in, we can kick this battle off. I'll also be posting a map if everyone will tell me where they'd like to go.
(Hmm, for some reason it tells me that the map cannot be found. Anyone else having this problem?)

Okay, all of that helps greatly. I’m either going to post the threat and ask for initiative tonight or tomorrow morning.
Sorry to keep everyone dangling. This last week has been hell.

Here's the map, sorry for the problem with the first. Just click My Maps, then the Awakened Tree map.

On holiday, with dreadful internet in hotel and awful mobile signal, so may take a while for me to respond at times.

Not working for me either

I've tried fixing my profile and reposting the link. I don't know why it isn't working.
If this doesn't work, I'll just do a text map like we did at the start of the Expedition.
It works for me now, nice!
Rizo would be walking somewhere towards the front, maybe next to Lan.

Minty will be behind (South of) Egan.
