Vandar's yklwa glides unerringly through the air and hits it's intended target squarely. the goblin falls from it's perch in two pieces, the weapon that slew it landing close by.
Nice rolls. we are now in battle. when all the initiative rolls are in I will post the combat order. please let me respond to the person before you before taking your turn.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I have changed the name of our other thread to "Lost Mine (KolbitrDM)/Chat" Please post something there so I know everyone has found it.
MadDog, you forgot to add your Initiative bonus (+1) its at the top of your sheet next to HP. Don't worry about a reroll , you got 21.
Vandar hears (Thwipp Thwipp) form the bushes somewhere further down the road.
Arrow16 Damage5
Arrow16 Damage5
Vandar roll perception check to see if you can tell exactly where the arrows came form. Any time before you start your turn.
Initiative order:
Bron
Vandar
Glen
Tibern
Goblins
Lothar
The Wagon and everyone except Vandar and Glen are roughly 40ft from the bend in the road. Vandar is on the East side of the road at the bend, Glen is directly across the road on the west. You are traveling south.
Everyone can now see one, terrified, goblin in the tree above Glenn.
Bron charges forward closing most of the distance between himself and the fight. Eager to aid his ally before the enemy can strike he attempts to hurl his greatsword like a spear at the goblin in the tree, unfortunately greatswords make poor ranged weapons and the blade twists wildly through the air landing with a thud in the brush somewhere beyond the tree with the goblin.
strength was the right check for that, unfortunately you got a natural 1 on it. Bron knows generaly where his sword is but he will have to spend a turn looking for it in the bushes if he wants to retrieve it before the end of battle. Bron is now only 10ft from the base of the tree.
There’s more over here! Vandar yells to his allies as he moves up the road to confront the goblins, aiming a punch at the closest one, then following it up with a kick.
(Move and unarmed attack at closer of the new goblins. Attack: 17 Damage: 7
bonus action for another unarmed strike. Same target if he’s still up, second goblin otherwise:

Gle finaly notices the goblins then sees born then sees bron throw his sword like a spear, he ready to attack. Glen uses 1 action to use the spell fire bolt and shoot it at the nearst goblin in my line of sight Attack: 11 Damage: 3

Vandar's punch fails to hit its mark, his kick however easily snaps the neck of the goblin creating a sickening popping noise, and the goblin falls to the ground dead. From his new position Vandar can see the other goblin who is currently within melee range of Vandar.
Meanwhile Glen launches a ball of magical fire into the tree at his attacker, badly burning the goblin and causing him to loose his balance and fall out of the tree taking an additional 4 damage.
*Please wait until I have posted a reply to the last combat turn to avoid any confusion*
kstreak217 your turn did not cause any problems so I just ran with it. Also please check into the chat thread "Lost Mine (KolbitrDM)/Chat"
This method may slow things down in battle a little, but it will prevent things like someone attacking an enemy that is already dead. Or the battlefield may change in another way as a result of the actions of another character.

Hearing the call of goblins from their monk compion, Tibern stops the wagon and sets his lute to the side. He reaches for his rapier and draws it before dropping from the bench to move forward and get the cowardly creatures in site. "Must I really lower myself to fight these sung eating heathen?" He calls out in common as he casts the Viscious mockery on the first goblin he sees.
(The goblin needs to make a dc 14 wisdom saving throw. If they fail they take 3 pyshic damage.)
Vandar's eyes widen as he takes in the goblins in the tree above Glen. GOBLINS!!! he shouts as he hurls his yklwa at the nearest one.
(Thow my weapon at a goblin. Disadvantaged from being long range. Attack: 20 Damage: 9)
Initiative roll: 17

Tibern covers 30ft before stopping, he can just make out the goblin amongst the bushes in front of Vandar which is enough to cast vicious mockery.
Tibern unleashes a string of particularly explicit insults at the goblin who attempts to ignore the verbal onslaught 6.
