The hooded figure looks alarmed and exclaims, "tressym?!"
“It’s just a little one. I got her a while ago.”

"Perfect, the best kind of party."
“So it’s your pet now?!” Akyan exclaims angrily, “Before you said it was the greatest darkness in the city! If that is the case, and it truly is your pet, what does that make you?!
“It’s nothing. It’s my pet that I needed to save. I needed your help to get it back from a rival.”

From behind Akayan's shoulder, she squints her eyes at Aaron. She speaks loudly, though, as if to address everyone at the table. She hopes that everyone will quiet down, listen to her, and come to a single consensus. "Hey! Guys, I understand the frustration and slight chaos, but I am getting really overwhelmed by the amount of new people coming, and the new information about the tressyms and everything. Let's just all talk about one thing at a time, all together." She turns to Aaron. "First, this seems kind of dubious; why weren't you just straightforward before? I personally wouldn't mind going to get it, as long as I'm compensated enough for it. However," She turns once again to address everyone at the table, "I don't think this is the evil that Akayan and I were sent for, and the evil that the letter was talking about. Of course I could be wrong, we all could be wrong, and it could really be some dangerous thing harbored in the city." At this, she waves her hands around and flies up to the table, standing at the edge of it, gesticulating widely to accentuate the potential danger. "Or, it could be that the people holding the tressym are dangerous. We really don't know. With all of this in mind, we could all do one of two things; go get the tressym first and then see what kind of evil is in this city, or we could just go ahead with what we were all sent here for in the first place." Having finally exhausted all of her anxious energy, she slumps down on the table and exhales sharply, her bird-like wings laying limp behind her.

“Listen,” Aaron says. “That tressym means everything to me. I really just need it back. I would do anything to get her back.”

The Tortle speaks up randomly, just as slowly as before, "What is a - err - 'Trezzeim'? I have not yet heard of such a creature." He lowers his voice near the end of his sentence, as if just noticing his loud, disruptive voice.
“A tressym is a cat that has wings. The tressym in question belongs to me, and it was stolen from me by a gang boss.”

The hooded figure stands up abruptly and suddenly, and says in a quiet, measured tone, "What gang?"
“They’re a gang that’s from Las Aminour. They call themselves the Rightful Queen, and they’d like nothing better for me to… disappear. They took my tressym, and they’ve been trying to lure me into their bar for a while now.”

Akyan nods as Sheerow talks. Once Aaron mentions a gang he stiffens. He opens his mouth just as the hooded figure asks the same question he was thinking. “Yes,” he growls, “What gang?”
"The rightful queen? How dangerous are these men?"
"And why do they want you dead?"
"Yes, why do they want you dead?," as he says this, Akyan glances at the hooded figure trying to get a look at his face.
The hooded figure, seeing Akyan trying to get a look at his face, pulls the hood even lower, concealing anything that was visible before. He takes a long drink of the purplish liquid.
The Tortle, noticing the Drow's curiosity, yanks the mysterious guy's hood off, accidentally tearing it a little. The Tortle seems apologetic, but says nothing.
(My character is dumb, but also quite curious.)
As the hood falls of, the figures face is revealed, it is blue, with purple hues, "I guess there is no reason to hide it any longer, hello, I am Malikily Waterbearer, the water genasi."
