"Right." Rieka rolls her eyes, and starts to play with her earrings, which appear to be canine fangs of some kind. "It's not the same though, is it? My oath was sworn in the company of the mortal and immortal, before the gods themselves. Your oath is a promise. Mine is power."

"We did nothing to warrant a defensive position from you for 'the honor of you and your people'. I'm sure your people are wonderful people, but right now you're being kind of arrogant and offensive. Now let us be, and let's just get on with leaving for La Aminour." She turns around in a frustrated huff, and continues petting Fane's head.

"I suppose you would rather me not come?"
Rieka grins at Sheerow's words.
"You know, I'm starting to think you and I are going to get along swimmingly, Sheerow."

"Because let me tell you, it would be a mistake not to have me along, however mush you hate me."
"I can't stop you from joining this quest. It's not my choice to make," Rieka replies, continuing to play with her earrings. "But it is going to take a very long time for you to earn my trust and my respect."

"You said that you made an oath to look for the good in people, tell me, what if there is no good?"
"Oh, well, I'm sure there is good in everyone. The thing is that sometimes the ratio of good to bad is different in different people." Sheerow nods once, to back up her statement. "And Reika, I agree. You seem like a great person, and I'm glad I'm going on this adventure with you." She flashes her a big smile.

"You're wrong about there being good in everyone", Malikily says quietly
"In fact, there is more bad in the world than there is good."
Rieka considers this for a long time.
"Even in the worst of monsters, there is always some good." she says eventually. "No matter what, there is a chance for redemption, no matter how small."

"You and I have conflicting beliefs on this matter."
"Well, I agree with Reika on this one. I was able to find the good in the people that..." She trails off at this, becoming solemn again. She pulls her brows into a frown. "The people that did terrible things to me as a child. I was able to find the good in the even after I escaped from their grasp. My mentor, Elro, taught me that." She pauses for a second. "It was really hard, to find the good. But one day, I saw these people with their families, and it made me realize that good and bad are two sides of the same coin. No matter what horrors they've seen, or what horrors they've caused, there's always someone or something that everyone has to protect. And that's a good thing, right?" She shakes her head lightly. "That's what I think, at least. I'm not here to engage in philosophical debates; at least not now."

"What if the things they protect are evil?"
Xo finishes his daily lifeless gaze at nothing, acknowledging the fact he could hear the whole argument. He stays silent, recalling his failed attempt to be likable, but he thinks to himself. -I have had royalty and pleasure my whole life, and I never imagined those not of my rank had it so rough. I had grown so used to getting exactly what I wanted at any time I wanted that I had not tooken the time to think about the hard lives the people beneath me have experienced. Perhaps there is a way I could lend a hand?- Xo finishes his aside.
(3 questions. What are characters doing when the player is AFK? How do I italicize words? And have we started the quest yet or are we still at the tavern? Thanks in advance!)
(3 answers: they’re waiting their turn to speak, so don’t feel like you have to check 24/7, I just took an hour to watch a sci-Fi movie; italicization is on the top bar, fourth button in it; and and we are in the tavern but we’re about to depart.)
”All of your perspectives will soon change as soon as we depart, for Las Aminour.”
Let the crossover begin…

(Alright, back to this campaign as a cloned version of my character, lets go :D)
Rieka instinctively flinches, only to open her eyes to find she is still in the tavern, surrounded by those she had met earlier.
Huh. I guess that I'm the cloned version of myself, she thinks, glancing around to see if she can spot Sheerow and Thalinel. Weird.
"Alright," Rieka says, clearing her voice. "What now?"

Akyan braces himself for... Something. After standing there for a moment with nothing seeming to happen he looks around, then back at Aaron. "Are we going somewhere or not? Get on with it!"
(It doesn't cross his mind that he might be a fake Akyan.)
Rieka turns to Akyan, once more playing with her earrings.
"I think we're the clones," she replies, suddenly starting to second guess her own assumption. "I mean, that's what Aaron said, right?"

“We are the clones. Once a night, we will receive visions (or now memories) of what we saw, or see, in Las Aminour.” Aaron replies. “However, if your clone in Las Aminour dies, I’m not sure if… anyways, let’s go get my tressym.”
