Malikiky looks from the barkeep to the guards, as if waiting for something.
They’re all watching the argument unfold.

Malikily addresses the barkeep and guards and asks them, "Which of us seems more devoted to the Rightful Queen? ALL HAIL THE QUEEN!!"
“Good to know,” Akyan responds to Sheerow. Giving Malikily a flat look he says. “I’m loyal to the one whose paying me, which in this case, is the Rightful Queen. Stop acting like an idiot. I know you don’t work for the Rightful Queen. You came over here, claiming that you were sent to relocate the tressym. Well obviously you didn’t to your research because you came to the wrong place. The creature is not in that room. Now, I will say it one more time. Come with me. Or suffer the consequences.”
"Huh. There also doesn't seem to be any other tunnel I can go through. I don't like this, I'm gonna come back out and see if I can find anything else. I might go outside, around the back or on top of the roof." Keeping with her word, she flies back out of the duct, and heads out the front door---slipping through when someone else opens the door as to not arouse suspicion. She then flies up to the roof of the building, and looks around.

Malikily looks confused, "The tressym... it-it isn't." He looks at Akyan, "How-how, but." Malikily coughs, "Hm, uhhhhhhh, sor-sorry to bother you." Malikily spends one Ki point to use the action step of the wind, (this allows me to take the dash or disengage action as a bonus action) he then dashes toward the the exit (taking the dash action) and takes the disengage action as a bonus action.
(How far away is the exit?)
Rieka responds to Sheerow, and directs her reply to Akyan as well.
It's not there? Ok, well, I might have an idea where to look next. I just heard a bloodcurdling scream come from the wall closest to me. I'm going to take a closer look.
Getting up just as the drinks arrive, Rieka gives the orc a traditional farewell in his own language, before taking her ale with her. "Thanks for everything. I wish you a fair road on your travels and may your weapons always be lethal."
She then looks to see if there is a door on the wall that emitted the scream, or some kind of entry point.

Cursing under his breath, though just loud enough for the guards to hear, he dashes after Malikily.(He can also use the dash action and cunning action to dash again as a bonus action. That should allow him to at least keep up with Malikily.) As he does this he responds to Reika, "Great, let me know what you find, or if you run into any trouble. For now, I have to keep up this act."
Thalaniel follows Rieka.

There is no door that leads into any of the walls, except for the stairs up into the office. There is no entry point from the roof into any other part of the building. Malikaly makes it through the door, but the Tabaxi samurai takes him down by using jujitsu.
”I thought I could trust you,” the Tabaxi replies. “You have betrayed my trust. Now, what would you do in my position?”

Malikily slowly stands up and puts his hands above his head, he slowly starts walking backwards, "Tabaxi, I have not betrayedyour trust, he has." Malkily points at Akyan, and then takes off, he will run at his full speed and take the disengage action so the Tabaxi can't attack him on the run.
"And he's at it again," Akyan sighs. "I'm sorry, I should never have let him in. I'm not sure if you heard what went down back there. I'd explain more, but I can't let him escape." Not waiting for a reply, he continues chasing Malikily.
Confused and surprised, he rotates his head at the wall the shriek had come from. "That... sound, you find pleasant?" Xo's eyes are wide. When he turns around, he catches a glimpse of Malikily darting out the door, followed closely by Akyan. He has been totally unaware of the situation, but does not care much to figure it out. Xo faces the orc as he asks, "How long have you been hearing these walls, and do you have any idea why or when they talk?" Xo takes a deep breath.
“Walls always pleasant and helpful. Wall spoke since always. Nobody cares now… except Aggro’gosh.”

When Malikily runs 40 feet, he stops and turns around. Then he pulls out his shortsword and gets unto a fighting stance.
(Is there a puddle or a small source of water within five feet of Malikily?)
Rieka sighs, knocking her knuckles against the wall to see how structurally stable it is.
"Any ideas?" She says, turning to Thalinel. "My first thought was to bust down this wall, but that's a Malikily level of stupid kind of idea and I don't want to start a fight. Any thoughts on how to get to the room we heard the scream from, seeing as there's no doors?"

Akyan stops and faces Malikily, "I wasn't trying to get you caught. I told you we needed to make sure the tressym was in there before we tried anything. But did you listen to me? No. You didn't." He stands in a ready position, hands held out to either side. A faint green mist circles his fingers. "I've had a lot of experience with backstabbing, I've been on both ends of the knife. But I won't betray someone unless they deserve it. In this case, you were the one holding the knife. Not me." Akyan is clearly angry, however he remains calm and does not approach the genasi. "You should never have come on this mission." He says in a low voice. "If you try something like that again, you'll get more than a knife in your back."
Malikily holds out his free hand and slowly lifts it, as he lifts his hand water comes out of the barrel in the shape of a globe.
He positions his hand so that two fingers are being held up and slowly moves his hand to his face, the bubble moves next to his head.
Malikily chuckles darkly, "Don't mess with me dark elf."
Akyan stands his ground hands still outstretched, “I take it you’ve had enough of this mission? Good, i’m sure i’m not the only one who will be glad to see you gone.”
