Milo's crossbow bolt strikes the gigantic monster right in the middle of the heart. It roars with pain as black flame oozes out of the wound. Xander follows up with a crackling bolt of energy that finally registers a hit! Energy snaps, crackles, and pops all over the giant skeletal demon and it takes the full force of both blows.
Og sees the fight is on so he yells, "O'tay time to smashes!!"and swings his greataxe right into the groin of the monster. Attack: 24 Damage: 5
There is apparently nothing dangling to swing at, he misses.
Biscuit takes his 2 daggers and leaps towards the beast in a twirling motion, stabbing with both daggers. Attack: 16 Damage: 5; Attack: 23 Damage: 4
Both daggers pierce its kneecaps and it roars as black flames are oozing out of multiple wounds on its skeletal body.
The skeletal demon belts out a deafening roar and swings its black flame flail at Og and Biscuit in a sweeping motion (both weapons in each hand are at least 10ft long). Attack: 17 Damage: 13
However, the swings are a bit slow and easy to predict due to their sheer size, so it is possible to avoid some of the damage with a DEX ST of 14.
DEX ST for Og 20, DEX ST for Biscuit 21
(Ok wow...the massive half-orc had a crit DEX ST so I'm ruling the attack misses against this enemy. same applies to anyone else with a crit ST in this encounter)
Og, in a sudden and surprising display of nimbleness, jumps over the massive spiked flail swinging at him. Biscuit does take a hit, but thankfully he evades most of it as spikes pierce his right shoulder, taking half damage. Biscuit is at 1 HP.
On the monster's 2nd attack, it swings its massive black flame longsword straight downward onto Grol. Sand explodes upward from the force of the impact. Attack: 18 Damage: 15
Grol attempts to block the gigantic weapon with his shield, but the brute force of the impact from the downward slash cleaves right into Grol, inflicting serious damage.
Grol, please give a DEX Saving Throw (14) to take half damage. If you crit then it misses.
Grol and Ban are up.
(Grol if you're unconscious go ahead and make a death save)
The demonic skeletal monster is bloodied from taking damage in Lich form, and from the 3 attacks it just received.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rested and revitalized, Ban is ready to get back down to business. Jumping up from her cover while kicking up sand, she runs towards the lich as she unsheaths her rapier. Stopping short when within range, she skirts around to the enemy's back and thrusts forward.
Grol has taken many hard hits, but never anything like that. As his senses return, he feels the sharp pain throughout his body. Gol will use his remaining Lay Hands on Pool to replenish his HP (+5) bringing back up to 8 HP.
Xander will move a little close to his allies but still out of melee range, in case any of them go down he can get close. Not having much luck he will continue to cast Eldritch Blast!
Hit: 15
Damage: 8
[Essentially Xander will move to Ban.]

OOC: Ban is currently behind the giant monster and within melee range after her attack, I assume you mean Ban's previous position
Xander's crackling blast impacts the creature and the black flames all over its body are starting to weaken.
Biscuit summons up courage and stabs with his daggers. Attack: 13 Damage: 5, Attack offhand: 21 Damage: 6
Biscuit's offhand dagger hits in a critical spot, but due to a hex from a Wizard of The Coast guild, it does the same damage as his main hand would have done.
The flames on the monster weaken further. Milo is up then the big guy.
Milo's bolt hits the creature square in the head and it staggers, falling to its knees. The flames extinguish on its body and it appears to be motionless. As everyone breathes a sigh of relief from the long, hard fought fight, the monster roars loudly and the flames ignite all its body once again, moreso than before. It is about to swing both of its weapons in a bout of rage and possibly wipe the group when suddenly a sprig of pepper hits it in the back.
"Culinary gods be praised!!" a familiar voice says as a white column of light centers around it and a loud crackle is heard as the light intensifies, shooting upwards to the sky, causing massive damage to the creature. It roars and turns around to find a group of people behind it, advancing from the main gate. One looks to be short and making lots of jingling noises as he runs.
The monster advances on them and is about to sweep its weapons at them when there are sudden deafening explosions all around it that looks to be cannonballs. Sand and chunks of bone fly in all directions and the 2nd group is firing bolts, throwing daggers, and loosing arrows. With one final explosion, the boney creature bursts apart.
Off in the distance, the 2nd group advances closer. As they move closer you start to see them one by one. Amongst them are Krunchy, Mozu, Rosie, Raphael, and leading them from the front is a man with half of one leg missing, with a wooden peg leg, and on crutches, Quint.
"Think I would let you have all the fun?"Quint says.
As he says that, a black flame coalesces and takes the form of an inhuman devil, though it doesn't maintain its form for very long, you all hear in a sinister tone, "Not bad. Let's play again sometime. Until our next meeting."When it finishes, the black flame turns into a bolt of black energy and flies off into the sky, heading directly towards the mountain in the center of the island.
"What in the hell was that?" Quint says
Biscuit appears to be terrified and keeps muttering to himself, "thought it was just a joke for greenhorns..."
Walking up and lightly slapping Biscuit's back, "Well, what did I tell you? Adventures and glory all around, eh?" Without waiting for an answer, she's off towards the captain. "I'm glad you all could make it. I think the appropriate question is: Who in the hell is that?" Looking down at the replacement leg, she looks at it for more than a moment but then looks away quickly upon realizing.
Snapping back to focus, Ban states as she's looking for her thrown dagger, "We found your boy. Sent 'em your way. He was up moving on his own, but he could use some fattenin' up and some R 'n R."
Milo ended the fight. He looks perplexed at his crossbow and then at the place where the creature was "killed with a simple bolt by a little halfling" he looks over at the others "Isn't that a great ending for a story? With the help of his friends, Gilbert can kill the giant creature with a simple bolt....if it's not fabric from which good stories are woven. You've all been great, friends! Grumpy, you still have to work on your shooting technique, " he jokes over to Xander. " but Mr. Biscuit, so nice you helped us, I knew you'd make a good ally. Your technique with the dagger is phenomenal! Like I said, the women will be standing in line with you when they hear the story. And Og, you too fought also very well."
Then he turns back to Biscuit "So, enough praise for tonight, I will make a big show for tonight to celebrate the day at the ship. But first Biscuit has a story to tell. Come on, tell the lady what you heard." Milo sits in front of him and takes out a notebook. When it comes to stories, milo is right there

There's no reason why anyone with half a brain would continue operating here for years when you're losing sailors and your wares for that amount of time."
Og says, "Og body hurts."
There is a longsword on the ground from the Wight, and one of Xander's blasts kicked up a buried chest nearby.
The dead slavers have nothing of value on them. There appears to be no danger, and the spirit of the monster you just killed fled back towards the mountain in the center of the island. If you wish to look around, there are a few buildings, one was destroyed by the powder detonation, the other has food in it, and one appears to be an administrator type building.

Xander pulls a potion from his bag and passes it to Og "Here big guy you earned it." Looking towards the chest "Hey Ban let's get that chest out." Xander will help ban with the chest, also anything for the history check to identify that devil?
