Jararaka stops at the gate to the temple, turning around in time to see more kobolds emerge. She hisses, "there's no bloody end to them." And rushes to the one that hit Cheddar, taking a swipe with her blade.
Jararaka races back into the fray and slashes the kobold who had moments ago struck Cheddar with a rock. These kobolds, even these trained skirmishers, are weak creatures and once again one strike is all it takes to bring the vandal down.
The kobold on the ground with the rope charges toward Jararaka and tries to lasso her. Lasso: To Hit 11 On a hit, Jararaka is restrained. As an action she can attempt an athletics check to break free against DC 12, or she can attack the rope to break it. It has AC 8 and 5hp.
The remaining kobold with a sling on the roof sees Finn climb up the eaves. It launches a stone at her and then retreats closer to Tylaerys' fire wall.
Sling: Attack: 23 Damage: 6
By now, all of the halfling refugees have fled the grounds and are loading into the wagon. The cleric shoots Cheddar an exasperated look and then raises her mace. "Yondalla, help me punish these blaspheming looters...". Then she charges toward the kobold with the rope and attacks, her mace glowing with holy light. Attack: 12 Damage: 6 On a hit, bonus 13 radiant damage.

Seeing Jenviel having gotten some life back into Finn, she nods and starts to fall back after the flock of haflings, trying to cover their retreat with her crossbow.
“Ouch The Fu….” Fine n exclaims, suddenly sitting upright and grabbing her neck where last she remembered a mind shattering pain. But something happened? Time elapsed?
Not much time, though. Things seemed way too similar. Finns turns her head, delicately, and sees Jenviel there next to her. “Thanks?” Finn says, trying it out. She’s unsure what happened but thanking her feels right. She adds a smile to it and then looks around at the situation.
“We should go!” Finn says even as she reached back and prepared to throw a dagger at a fleeing Kobold but stopped herself. It was her last dagger, better to keep it close, she decided. Instead she sheathed it, grabbed up her sword and grabs Jenviel and pulls her to the edge of the roof so they can help each other down…
"You're welcome!"Jenviel seems a bit pale since the repeated use of inherent sorcery has drained her energy. When the revived comrade grabs her without prior notice, she finds herself too much surprised to respond immediately. She's not used to the strange mannerism of being handled by strangers.
By the way, she will pull out the length of her hempen rope and place it around her waist to form a knot. "Wait, Finn san. Your reincarnated body is too weak and it might fail to sustain your soul if you take additional damage." She offers the other end of the rope to the comrade. "Here. Take it."
Finn, Jenviel, Tylaerys and Jararaka retreat to the wagon, which is now positively overflowing with scared halflings. The area around seems quiet for the moment. A handful of human figures emerges from the smoke, but they are all other villagers, drawn out from their hiding by the commotion. There are still sounds of conflict and the crackle of flame.
Inside the compound, Jirel gathers up her thrown weapons. Before she can leave, however, she is confronted by the halfling cleric, and brow-beaten into assisting with bringing down the last remaining kobold. It takes a minute, but they eventually manage to corner it and finish it off. With the threat to the temple eliminated for the moment, the cleric follows Jirel back to the wagon to join her flock, locking up the gate behind her. Jirel scoops up the two unconscious and bound cultists you captured earlier, and you rendezvous back at the wagon to decide what to do next.

Finn rests on the edge of one of the wagons to regain her strength and breath. To say she was out of it would be an understatement. It had been close there, she had almost died (You did die!) before she and Jenviel helped each other off the roof. The scene was mayhem and chaos and a part of Finn just shut down and refused to take it all in. (You owe me!)
