Once clear of the town, Sorrow draws everyone in close as if in a group hug. ‘A bit of misdirection in case of watchers. We’ll continue South awhile, pretending to look for tracks or whatever-hell, chasing butterflies works too. Once we get out of sight of the town we need to move back North and East, but stay out of sight of the townies. And the Hunters if we can. Gobs-well, maybe try to keep one or two alive, one to talk to us and the other to lead us to their lair. If your skills run to stealth lets have you parallel the rest of us thru the woods, keeping an eye out for watchers, trailers or trackers. And be on the lookout for tracks that may guide us to the gobs lair. Questions, concerns, other thoughts?’
After feeding his companions and cleaning up, he packs up, then thanks everyone and heads out the kitchen. Nose bopping Relitha and thanking her for use of the kitchen, Millwater heads out the door.
Millwater nods in understanding. Keeping to Sorrow's right by 150 feet, Millwater looks for mushrooms in the usual spots. Looking for worg and goblin tracks while moving from spot to spot. He peers deep into the woods, looking for movement.
Shouldering her pack, Tail nods in thanks to the servers and innkeep. She hangs in the back of the group, trying to keep an eye on anyone that might try to follow. At the same time she was looking for a possible stick that she could practice with as a staff.
Everyone heads south and soon you have crossed the bridge and rounded the curve where the village is no longer in your view. Everyone who was looking to see if they were followed saw no one. You did not hear or see anything or anyone in the woods watching them. You can all hear the normal sounds pf the forest off the roadway. This is also a sign that there is nothing dangerous in the vicinity. Following Sorrows lead you leave the roadway and head into the forest on the east side of the road. As you make your way eastward you do not see any recent signs of Worgs , goblins or horses. As you continue Tailfeathers finds and picks up a sturdy piece of wood she can use as a staff. You do find a game trail that is heading North and east. an examination of the tracks does not show any signs of anything other than normal forest creatures using this trail.
Keeping his distance to Sorrow's right, Millwater searches quietly the hollows and lowspots for tasty morsels. Stopping motionless while scanning the horizon for movements. He keeps vigil under the brush when he can. With the terror of the previous night fading, his eyes open up to nature's splendor.
In a low voice and with short curt hand movements, Sorrow expains what she has in mind. ‘Vee and I are not built for stealth. So we’re not gonna try. You others though, put two on each side of the trail parallel and keep pace but out of sight. We’ll follow the trail best we can North and East for as long as we can. If trouble hits us on the trail and we think we need help we’ll call out LAYNO. Whoever’s on the right side, if you need help call out PRAHVAY, on the left call out VEEDMAH.’ She looks at each of you. ‘I’m open to other suggestions, ideas or plans if anyone has them’
Festoon offers "I'll take the left side of the trail, and see if I can be sneaky enough for your liking. Veedmah sounds likes Mama, and I've always been fond of my Mama. " He also hands everyone 5sp ad 8cp. "I've still got these two gems, as well. I can hold onto them, if you'd like?"

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Okay I need to know who is staying on the trail and who is going to be hiding on which side of the trail. For those wanting to sneak about or stay hidden out of sight I will need a deception check DC15 to be hidden. While the forest is not overly thick it is thick enough that you can not see more than 60-80 feet around you. You would be able to see some small game animals as they flee from your presence. You do hear a few squirrels chattering at you.
Millwater turns his head left and realizes his companions are no longer in view. He smiles as he picks up on their foot steps and decides to put away with foraging. Hearing the squirrels chattering, he chitters back.
Ears swiveling, he gets down low using higher brush to conceal himself. Eyes wide open looking for movements in the brush and grass. Sniffing the air for the faintest of worg taint. The thought of the worg triggers his multiminds to start talking in fear all at once, (Be still!) Commands the mastermind.
J'nah sees Festoon head left, recognizes the maneuver, catches eyes with the rest of the party marking his eyes to theirs with his fingers then grabs his short bow and heads right staying as quiet as he could while keeping pace with the group.
Sorrow steps to the right side of the path, her axe held loosely in a left handed grip. She waits for the four to melt into the scrub before chin pointing up the path.
Vee nods in understanding. Cradling the Xbow right handed, he takes three big steps forward and slides to the left side of the path. He sets the pace, trusting Sorrow to maintain the distance between them fairly consistent. As they advance, both move their heads slowly, scanning the scrub and the path for tracks or hostiles.

Tail watches as each moves about, understanding what is going on. She looks to the top of the trees and chitters back at the squirrels. While she might be able to be stealthy, the tabaxi acts surprised as if she found a new plant to learn about. “I will catch up to you, I have to check this out!” With that she walks slowly to the right.
Everyone walks along either following the game trail or off to one side as it winds its way to the north and the east. No one sees any watchers or others besides a deer here and there and small game animals. The squirrels seem to follow Tailfeathers chittering with her. While they seem to be speaking to her they are not currently. Soon the trail leads back to the river and follows it for a bit before the river turns more north as the trail heads more ENE. While those to the left side of trail are forced onto the trail until it once again allows those to head back into the trees left of the trail. So far no one has seen any tracks besides woodland creatures. I will need as perception check from everyone.
Stopping motionless to get a sonic map where everyone is, he looks up from the bush to find a suitable tree to climb and get a birds eye view.
Millwater climbs up carefully, opening his senses to including a bite of the chicken flavored mushroom. He scans the area slowly, hoping to give his companions early warning of trouble.
