The bandit is decidedly unimpressed by Rockcrusher's 'threat' as the goliath fumbles and almost drops his hammer while trying to brandish it. "It's the dwarf that dueled Cyanwrath!" he yells.
(The campfire you guys settled at is roughly 400 feet from the entrance of the camp. So dashing every round it'll take a minimum of 8 rounds to get there (just past the guard tower) with Maythus 25 foot walking speed. The 3 clusters of tents between where you are and the entrance each have large groups of kobolds who have taken an interest in the yelling. There's a ladder to the second guard tower - near where it says Level 3 on the map. That's about 300 feet away from where you guys are at the campfire, with 2 clusters of tents with raiders between you and there. Dawn and Maythus, with their darkvision, notice that there are handhelds cut into the cliff faces around the camp that could be used to try to climb out that way. Doing so quickly (as when running away from people attacking you) would require a DC10 athletics check to avoid falling.)
The party seems to panic as they're called out as spies. Rockcrusher almost drops his hammer as he tries to brandish it at the mercenary while heading towards the entrance of the camp. Meanwhile, Maythus heads in a different direction and gets ready to start climbing the cliff (nearest cliff face is about 50 feet away from the campfire, so I'll assume you dashed this round to reach it, then use your athletics check next round to start climbing it). Dawn attempts to send pursuit in a different direction while Pops makes a half-hearted attempt to pretend he had no idea the others were spies, but neither is convincing. Pops then simply stands where he is waiting to surrender peacefully.
The mercenary continues to scramble away from the party, dashing away at full speed, yelling the whole way about the spies, until he reaches the next set of tents and the cluster of raiders there, who are picking up their weapons and glaring murder in your direction.
(You guys are all up again. Dawn, since you rolled lower initiative you won't be able to get into melee range of the merc to threaten him or do the dagger attack, so you can pick something else. Rock, if you decide to go towards the cliff to climb like maythus, after having moved 30 feet towards the entrance, the area directly between you and the cliff face is covered in brush 4-6 feet tall. Makes it difficult terrain so double movement to get through it, but also provides 3/4 cover if you go into it. Say probably about 75 feet in a direct line to get to the cliff through the brush, so provides some cover but would take 3 turns of dashing to reach the cliff. Or you can continue towards the entrance as you were, or go back around the brush past the campfire to the cliff that direction, which you could reach the cliff in two turns if you dash. Or do whatever else you can think of that you wanna try. Rest of the camp basically spent this round realizing what was going on and standing/gathering weapons/etc. Will start moving in next turn)
"Come on Pops" Dawn says as I grabs his robe and starts to follow Maythus, letting go of the robe is so as it's a problem with running towards the cliff.
Pops takes a seat and puts his cane across his lap. Shaking his head at Dawn Pop's says, "Boy, running away is a young man's game and I doubt I can make it up that cliff. Come find me if you get out of this mess."
(Not sure you have time to climb to the top and pull him up after before others get there. Per the description when you arrived, the cliffs get up to 150 feet high. You aren't in the far back of the camp, so it might not be full height, but even then probably at least 100 feet. Dawn is the only one with climbing speed, and even he'd take 5 rounds to climb 100 feet; 3 with dashing. Then you'd need to tie multiple ropes together to reach the ground from the top. Could maybe tie a rope to Pops and use it to help him climb. Maybe give him advantage on the athletics check and/or be able to make an athletics check to hang onto the rock and catch him hanging from the rope if he falls)
(I will say since Dawn DOES have climbing speed that you don't need the athletics check)
Rockcrusher will dash in a straight line through the brush toward the rest of the party, the adrenaline of being discovered overridding his common sense and it’s not till he is in the tall grass he realizes it’s more dense than he thought slowing him down. Hard headed and determined he powers through moving as far as he can toward the wall to climb with his allies.

(Not the long grass! Don't go into the long grass! And then Rockcrusher disappears from sight and a tail is briefly visible above the grass before it sinks away out of view again)
(Pops and Rock go ahead and give me athletics checks for climbing the cliff since you can get there before anyone can reach you to attack you, pops roll with advantage for having the assistance of the climbing kit to help prevent you from falling to your death)

Maythus rolls his eyes. "Its time to climb. my friends, before we get smashed."

Pops is going to pretend like all this is new information and try to scramble away from Maythus and Rockcrusher yelling "Spies!" as well. Deception 16
If that doesn't work Pops will quietly surrender as an old man clutching is walking stick.

"I've got rope me Maythus and I can pull you up after we get up" Dawn replies
Pops sighs and agrees to follow Dawn. As he stands you can hear his knees creak and pop and in that moment you realize where he got his nickname.
