Although unable to get his aged limbs to climb the cliff a short time ago, Pops finds a burst of strength within him and is able to quietly break the ropes tying his wrists together and to the post, leaving him free, although still surrounded by an army of foes. The raiders at the surrounding fires are focused on their celebration of the successful raid and don't notice yet that the old human is no longer tied since he hasn't yet moved from where he was. Leosin, who was paying more attention to his fellow prisoner, nods his approval.
Pops is always a little more spry than he lets on.
Pops will slowly reach over and grab his discarded cane and cause a Silent Image of him and Leosin tied to the poles to rise up fifteen feet across between him and the guards. Then he will untie Leosin. Dolomite Jones will fly back to Pops and he will write a message to the lads asking to pull their attention away from the exit of the camp. The owl will find Maythus and Rockcrusher to deliver the message.
Pops will whisper to Leosin, "Once the distraction starts, we run like hell to the gates."
We are up on the cliff too so maythus and I can move around to the northeast and attack the tent on level 3 to draw them in and away from the exit at the front?

(It's a guard tower up on the cliff by level 3, not a tent)
Guard Towers. The cultists have built two guard towers at the camp, one at the entrance to the hollow and one atop the plateau. These towers are 20 feet high and made from rough timbers lashed together with rope. They are large enough for a few lookouts. The tower at the mouth of the hollow is manned by kobolds, while warriors man the one above. The guards have horns to blow when they must sound an alarm.
My plan was for you 2 to enter from level 1, and I would sent the tents in level 1 on fire to cause a distraction. Your plan might work better, but I want to make sure you understand what I said.
(So is Dawn trying to light tents on the first level or the third? Dawn's original suggestion was level 1, while Pops sent a message saying to pull attention AWAY from the camp, which is t the other end of level 1 from where Pops and Leosin are. And along with that answer, go ahead and give me some attack rolls for each arrow. And Rockcrusher give me an athletics check for climbing back down the cliff)
(Sorry I haven't been reading Keneux's posts as I am not there, so I didn't realize he had sent us a note.)
Dawn launches 10 fire arrows at the tents/hut hoping at least a couple will start a distraction (see map for targets)
Fire Arrow 1 Attack: 18 Damage: 8
Fire Arrow 2 Attack: 18 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Fire Arrow 3 Attack: 21 Damage: 10
Fire Arrow 4 Attack: 23 Damage: 4

Fire Arrow 7 Attack: 21 Damage: 10
Fire Arrow 8 Attack: 23 Damage: 9

(I removed the first 10 arrows from my inventory, but wasn't sure if I would have time for any or all of the 2nd 10 so I'll wait for you to say how many I should remove)
Dawn starts lighting and launching arrows at the tents on the upper level. The first arrow falls just shy of the group of tents to the northeast. It fails to find a flammable target, but the nearby raiders see the arrow streak to the ground and start shouting the alarm. The second arrow, fired towards the leader's tent, also falls short. The revelries have died off now to the sounds of the shouted alarms, and the raiders have begun watching for the source of the flaming arrows. The third arrow strikes true, striking a hut covered in grass-covered sod and lighting it aflame. Two new sets of shouts start up at this, one from the raiders near the tent as most of the raiders nearby rush to try to put out the flames, and another from men who spotted where the arrows were coming from. Half a dozen raiders from the tents below where Dawn stands rush to the cliff and start climbing their way towards the tabaxi (3161616319). Dawn fires the rest of his arrows, taking about a minute to fire all 10 (figure 1 per 6 seconds going by combat time, with no extra attack feature yet to get em twice as fast). Most of the arrows miss their targets or strike mud or other non-flammable parts of the huts, but the seventh arrow manages to hit its target and light one of the tents directly below on fire as well. The raiders from the nearby tents to the east (what dawn labeled as 8 and 9) rush over to put out the flames since the men from 6 and 7 are busy climbing the cliff. A couple glance over towards Pops and Leosin first, but seeing the prisoners apparently where they left them, join the others helping put out the flames.
As he fires the last arrow, Dawn sees that the four remaining raiders (two having fallen during the climb) climbing up from below, and almost to the top of the cliff.
As Dawn fires the first arrow, Rock swings over the edge of the cliff to the southeast of the Tabaxi and starts climbing down (towards the brush between the 2 southern groups of tents). He has a few close calls as his grip slips or a handhold pulls away from the wall, but he makes it to the bottom safely, just as dawn fires the last arrow.
(Need to know what maythus is doing during this time. Is he climbing down with Rock or doing something else? And what's pops doing? Like I said, takes about a minute to fire all 10 arrows, so do you do something when the first alarm goes up? Do you wait for several arrows? Do you wait until the arrows stop?)
As soon as the alarm goes up Pops nods to Leosin and they run like hell to the opening of the of the plateau. While running Pops casts Fog Cloud near the entrance to the ravine dispelling his Silent Image and dashes into the smoke with Leosin.

(Fog Cloud has a 120 foot range and a 20 foot radius - 40 foot diameter - and the spot where you guys were tied down is like 700 feet from the guard tower/tent in the entrance of the camp, so you wouldn't be able to cast it there right away, and it only covers a small part of the entrance, which is almost 300 feet wide, with tents on one side and a guard tower on the other. And it was after the 7th arrow I said a couple glanced over and saw the illusion before going to help put out fires, so if you drop it before that, they can notice you're gone. Are you going straight up the path toward the entrance or roundabout (through brush, or along cliff edge, sneaking through clutsers of tents, etc)? Sprinting through the second level might not be as obvious right now since there's raiders running around with the attack (would maybe do a low DC charisma check to see if anyone notices you're not supposed to be there), but would be more obvious on level 1 among the kobolds. You can make 60 feet per round yourself when dashing, so in a straight line would take you 12 rounds at that speed to get out the entrance dashing straight there, assuming you dashed the whole way with no detours and weren't stopped by anyone. Leosin, due to his injuries, only has a 20 foot movement speed, so he could make 40 per round wtih dashing, so it'll take him half again as long to get anywhere as your max speed would)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Dawn abandons the rock plan and moves to a spot within 30 feet where he has a clear shot. I shoot the lead climber (maybe if he falls, he will take 1 or 2 of the others with him). Attack: 25 Damage: 9. Seeing his shot miss, Dawn will drop his bow (away from the cliff) abd draw my rapier.

We could still try to distract them depending on how many we are talking about
Ok let’s go with the tent fires, I’ll climb back down the cliff and sprint to get the prisoners, I can carry the pops back up the cliff
