Judas is feeling that his ability to call forth god's powers is waining...he needs a short rest. However, there is no rest for the weary, especially when there are skeletons to be scared away!
He secretly pulls out his voodoo maraca, shakes it a bit, and casts Thaumaturgy...
Running out of the opposite corridor appears a glowing white stag...and it's running right towards the two skeletons! CrispyDM, please roll something (dunno what) to see if the skeletons are either/both scared away.
The skeleton that is wounded starts to run away, opposite of where all of you are. The other one advances. Since it's only one monster, i'll let someone take a swing at it before it counterattacks.
Ugg takes one of his javelins and throws it at the fleeing skeleton hoping to knock its head from its skeletal body. He takes a couple prepatory steps and let's fly with a grunt. Attack: 7 Damage: 4

Judas to Blarog: "Oh, just some magic I learned from Father Aerendyl Daxidor, my mentor. I channeled his holy spirit to bring forth that stag. It always frightened me when Father cast it, so I figured it might do the trick with those marauding skeletons."
Judas to the group: "Might I suggest that now we've taken care of those skeletons, we hide out in this area for a bit, and take a short rest? I'm sure that Balrog and Varth are feeling a little drained, as am I."
OOC: I'm down to one cantrip spell slot available, so I'm likely no good to heal anyone unless I take a short rest. That, and maybe CrispyDM will level us all up to level 3 (hint-hint!) after that amazing battle with the two skeletons? ;-)
“Right..” Balrog replies to Judas, “spirit channeling... anyway I could use some meat and cheese, maybe a drop of firewater.. I second that short respite”.
Balrog plops his carcass on the ground and tears into some meat and cheese from his pack. Between bites he asks, “Phil.... did you ever divide up that treasure...” as he does, food flys out of his mouth in large globules in Phil’s general direction.
Balrog clicks a bolt into his crossbow and fires a black feathered arrow at the skeletons.
Crossbow: Attack: 13 Damage: 5
The bolt hits squarely in it's skull, and it reels at the hit, but it's not enough to down it. They start lumbering slowly towards you all.
“Bloody Hell,” Balrog curses as he watches the bolt sink into the skull and the skeletons start forward. “Right you lot, more things ta kill”.
Anyone else want to take a shot?
Phil waggles his Rapier menacingly.

The skeleton that is wounded starts to run away, opposite of where all of you are. The other one advances. Since it's only one monster, i'll let someone take a swing at it before it counterattacks.
Varth takes a reactionary fire bolt strike at the remaining skeleton.
Attack: 19 Damage: 9
Balrog looks at Judas and asks, “where ya been hiding that magic priest? That was a neat trick!”
To Varth, “that was a finely crafted fire bolt indeed”.
The firebolt completely obliterated the advancing skeleton. Nice, Varth. The other one is shambling off away from you guys.
Ugg takes one of his javelins and throws it at the fleeing skeleton hoping to knock its head from its skeletal body. He takes a couple prepatory steps and let's fly with a grunt. Attack: 7 Damage: 4

Great throw, but you missed =)
OOC: I'm much better at melee it seems.

OOC: I think that’s top of the order?
Balrog takes a pot shot at the fleeing skeleton with another black feathered arrow.

The fleeing skeleton drops.
Which area next, folks.
“Right..” Balrog replies to Judas, “spirit channeling... anyway I could use some meat and cheese, maybe a drop of firewater.. I second that short respite”.
Go ahead and rest up, then tell me where you'd like to explore. We're getting towards the end!

Also, go ahead and level up to 3.
