Yaris nimbly keeps on his feet from the explosion and is now a little concerned about everything going on. "These guys keep coming!"
Making his way as best as he can (ooc: trying to avoid an opportunity attack from #6) to position himself next to #2 and the contact of the Reaver's ship. He casts acid splash targeting two targets (being a little creative here let me know if not possible) targeting Reaver #2 and the ships helm in the hopes that he can do some damage to disengage from the ship.
Two targets must be within 5ft of each other and must succed on a dexterity saving throw DC:13 or take 4

The reaver dodges the spray of acid, and all of it hits the Moonraider's railing, where the enemy ram is embedded in it. The acid eats away some of the wood, but it seems like it would take a few more of the same before the two ships could be separated.
The reaver doesn't, however, dodge the genasi's fist, and while it's still standing for now, it's looking unsteady on its feet.

As zap electrocuted one to the point their head fell off they began to turn to look at the other attackers when a sudden attack ripped through their slime like features. The attack tearing many of the green celluloid like structures inside their body. The plasmoid nearly crumbles from the pain back into their more rotund state but they manage to keep their form just in time for the ship dog to bring them some healing potion. They drink from it just in time (Healing: 5) before a sudden blast shakes the entire ship making them fall to the side. They use the mass of the hair like form to brace themselves sot hey take no further damage but need to take time to stand back up. As the healing fluid mixes inside their body they look around at the sudden barrage of attacks from above as well as the seemingly endless attackers. Zap then looks to the helm and their crew. As Yaris shouts for any ideas Zap says "Fly away. I will pilot. Guard me." Zap doesn't make a lot of progress as they had to struggle to get up first and they send out a blast of electrical energy towards one of the reavers in their way. Otherwise, they begin to make their way towards the helm. As they gather the electrical power around them they seem to gather a current of wind and lightning around them that helps them move faster.

The scaly reaver takes the full force of Zap's fly-by witch bolt, but barley remains standing. In return, the pirate runs at Zap, swinging its scimitar.
[Reaver 3 scimitar vs Zap: 13 Damage: 4 slashing damage]
Meanwhile the other two reavers stand up and close in on Yaris.
[Reaver 2 scimitar vs Yaris: 18 Damage: 5 slashing damage] [Reaver 6 scimitar vs Yaris: 5 Damage: 7 slashing damage]
As all of the reavers miss their targets, a thunderous explosion shakes the ship, filling the air with splinters of wood. Bodies are hurled into Wildspace—and then
everything
stops.
Wreckage hangs motionless. Reavers freeze in the middle of their attacks. Even the stars stop twinkling. A hulking figure emerges from the center of the explosion: a hadozee with a missing wing flap wearing a military uniform bristling with medals. The air around her smells like cigar smoke. "As you can see," Boatswain Tarto growls, "the battle of H'Catha didn't go so well for Captain Sardax and her crew. But her last battle makes a good testing ground for new recruits."
The illusion of Wildspace melts away: first the reavers vanish, then the Moonraider and the attacking ship, leaving you seeming standing in empty space; even the weapons in your hands and the armor on your backs evaporate. Finally the starry background of Wildspace itself fades away, and you find yourselves in one of the magical chambers of the Simulations Deck, your memories slowly fitting back into place. You recall being warned that your first experience of a Wildspace simulation would be disorienting—to test your ability to function under pressure.
[Everyone regains all your hit points, spell slots and other limited use powers.]
Looking around, you find yourselves in a large circular space with rune-inscribed walls and dotted with a handful of unusual-looking chairs that Zap and Zoide, at least, would recognize as slightly modified spelljamming helms. Your "crewmates", far from being long-trusted allies, are people you've barely met—perhaps a few days ago on the ships that brought you here, perhaps only today.
You arrived this morning: some on Belligerence, a chartered galley out of Waterdeep, which picked up passengers and crew in the Moonshae Isles, Baldur’s Gate, Candlekeep, and Port Nyanzaru; some on Reflection, a spelljamming cruiser out of the Rock of Bral, bringing passengers from far stranger origins. You’ve come to seek fortune and glory at Spelljammer Academy: a secret enclave of spellcasters and swords-for-hire on the mysterious isle of Nimbral. Graduates from the academy join the Spelljammer Fleet, a magical navy sworn to protect Toril and explore worlds far beyond.
The academy is carved into a two-thousand-foot-high column of rock that juts up from the cliffs of the island’s west coast, its multiple levels connected by stairs, ramps, and magical lifts. After docking, Belligerence in a sea cave at the base of the column, Reflection in berths cut into its very tip, you were marched to the Simulations Deck midway up the academy spire for an "aptitude test".
"Well, I can see some of you at least already have your space legs. Or," Boatswain Tarto glances at Zap, "equivalent. But you need to work together as a team. Focus your attacks, to take threats off the table quicker, instead of spreading the damage around with potshots at whatever's closest," she critiques. "Still, you did throw some nice shots, and none of you died, which is more than I can say for some of the cadets that have come through here, so there's that at least," she admits grudgingly.
She looks at Icarus, Da'Kal, and Kiki. "Maybe take a little more care with your aim, and you might hit on the first shot. Less haste, more kill. But I can't fault the effectiveness when you did hit."
To Yaris, she comments, "Remember to use your head as well as your fists. I doubt a real pirate would have let you get away with that second punch."[I let it stand, but I think technically you can only do a bonus unarmed strike if you used the Attack action, not cast a spell?]
Next she turns to addresses Zap, "I can't exactly approve of running away, but it's true that discretion is sometimes the better part of valor. Still, you need to realize that with the enemy ship in such close proximity, and having the mass advantage on you—you smelt their air envelope overlap yours, didn't you?—you'd have had a tough time fighting against their helm. That's more Sarthe's wheelhouse than mine, though."
Finally she says to Zoide, "I have to admit I'm impressed that you were able to detect the simulation magic. I'll have to have a word to our runeworkers about beefing up the enchantment field."
The plasmoid having apparently reverted to the more fluid form takes a moment to orient themselves as they shift their mask around their body in a sense of gathering their thoughts. The slimelike creature oozes off the simulation chair and then takes a moment to reconstitute their more humanoid form. They go from a ball of goo to shifting the majority of their mass into a single piece that looks like long flowing purple and green hair. they gain a thin humanoid like body which they walk with as the green celluloids shift and rearrange in their body to accommodate the form they find many accept. The last thing they do is shift their mask up onto a place that make it look like they have a face. Its a simple white crystal mask with two black spots on it that look like eyes.
They seem to check their own body as they look around with the mask and seem curious that they are not injured. a pseudopod like appendage comes out and seems to poke the chair they were on. They look at it with intense curiosity. When Tarto addresses them the slime's mask instantly shifts to the back of their head and then the rest of their humanoid shaped body steps to turn around and face them. As they point out that Zap doesn't normally have legs they pick up their made legs and put them back down, a look of confusion as their mask turns sideways like they are tilting their head.
When Tarto address Zap individually the slime asks, "You do not approve of running away? Is survival not the goal?" they sound genuinely curious as if not sure what the answer is. Anyone who has spent time with Zap would know they take things very VERY literally and tries to copy those around them. Great at taking orders but a vast lack of common sense and knowledge. Not for a lack of learning as they seem to learn as an almost terrifying rate. In fact, they also follow up with an additional question of "Larger mass, means slower ship." they pause and think for just a moment then add "However, bigger guns and two ships attacking us... I could not think fast enough. You are right. I did not think it though. What would you recommend? I cannot think of a solution."
(OOC: Ahhh my bad will keep that in mind for next time, I am still getting to grips with those sorts of rules if anything like that crops up again feel free to let me know and I don't mind if it completely fails or you want me to adjust my post =] )
Yaris looks around for a moment and takes a moment to get his head back straight. That is definitely different, it feels odd to go from fighting alongside these people to not knowing them at all really. He pulls his focus in and centres himself again, it felt good to fight, it has been a while.
He listens carefully to the feedback and nods, "Yeah, that was a bit sly" he thinks to himself. He watches the plasmoid shift through the different figures and takes interest. He has never seen a plasmoid before and was impressed by the magical casting. Agreeing with their logic, Yaris looks to Boatswain Tarto to see what they say about what could have been done in the future.
