As you observe the cave entrance Delphinium spots a goblin exit the mouth of the cave and begin to look around. Drogore, being smaller, is unable to see the goblin from his view so he shifts by nudging Loodyhoo aside. This less than subtle nudge causes Loodyhoo's chain mail to rattle and she nudges Drogore back. The two exchange glances and Drogore nudges once more to catch a glimpse of the goblin through the brush and rattles the chain mail armor again catching the goblin's attention but finally is able to see the goblin. Loodyhoo moves to grab her shield and realizes its gotten caught in some brush. She rips it out from the brambles an in an instant the goblin stops and draws back his bowstring looking directly at Loodyhoo and Drogore.

Delphinium's tone, though firm, is unnaturally calming as her eyes flare bright green. The ground around and underneath the goblin churns as vines burst from the earth below and engulf the goblin. It struggles but its small weak frame vanishes behind the tangles that wrap around its arms, legs and mouth, making it impossible for it to yell.

I roll my eyes and look at Loodyhoo. "Let's try to keep this quiet, shall we?" Then I run 15 feet north and take cover behind a small tree. I take out my crossbow and line up a shot.
Drogore maneuvers past Loodyhoo and around the brush taking up a defensive position behind a tree closer to the goblin. He takes aim and releases his bolt. The bolt impacts the goblin's sternum and you see its struggling body twitch three times then go limp as black blood oozes from the wound.
End of combat- for now.
You wait a moment to be sure the creature is dead before closing in on it. Once you reach it you can see other scrapes and cuts you assume from the fight with the scouts. You wait a minute for a second sentry to appear or noises of urgency but it appears you have semi-successfully kept this mission quiet thus far. You position yourselves at a small crook just beside the entrance to formulate a plan there.
Delphinium- your keen senses catch a whiff of smoke in the air every so often that appears to be coming from within the cave. You can also hear a chittering sound and the labored breathing of something large echoing out of the cave.
You peek into the cave and see a distant glow reflecting off the walls beyond a bend in the cave tunnel. You move in and as soon as you pass the bend the tunnel opens into a large cavern with a small tunnel in the northeast corner. Sitting around a small fire, that lights up the center of the cavern, are four goblins and a large humanoid creature that stands 9 feet tall and has large bulbus muscles and wields a humongous axe. The goblins and ogre looks up in surprise and reach for their weapons.
I take a deep breath as I size up our opponents, and step to the front of our party. I train my eyes on a spot on the ground and focus all my energy into Summon Beast as a powerful looking wolf appears in the once empty spot

Delphinium glows with green energy then points her finger towards the goblins. The glow is sucked away as a green orb shoots towards an open space on the ground and swirls growing into a green ethereal wolf that lets out a howl and attacks the nw goblin.

The wolf claps down on the goblin's throat and tosses it across the room killing it instantly and leaving a long trail of black blood behind. Two goblins raise their bows and draw arrows aiming carefully then release them in a volley at Delphinium while the other grabs its sword and attack the ethereal wolf. None of the attacks find their mark and the arrows bounce off the wall. The half ogre creature roars and charges toward Delphinium and swings his axe at her. The heavy axe cuts deep into Delphinium's shoulder nearly severing her arm off. Blood gushes from the wound and Delphinium is looking very bad.
Loodyhoo rushes forward and slashes at the half-ogre's belly causing blood and fat to drip from the wound. The creature roars in anger as Kazmae places her hand on Delphinium's injured shoulder and releases a surge of healing energy. Delphinium's wound closes slightly but continues to drip blood.
Honestly," I chuckle. "And here I thought it was my job to get hurt, Stick-Bearer." I then incant the spell Catapult on one of the logs in the fire and send it towards the huge half-ogre from behind, aiming for is hand holding the axe.
The log flies through the air in a blur leaving a trail of smoke in the air and slams into the large arm of the ogre sending splinters and glowing cinders flying. A loud roar echoes through the cavern and you see the jagged log protruding out both sides of the half-ogre's arm and he drops his axe clutching his injured arm but still the creature stands.

I steady myself on my feet, "I already told you it's Lady Stick Bearer to you, you insolent thing!" I notice the blood dripping from my shoulder and the trickle down to my fingertip, I squeeze my fist shut ignoring the seating pain in my shoulder and pull all my energy into my hands, "take this ogre!" I shout casting ice knife at the creature, aiming for the center of it's giant chest
