Liavyre places the food closer to the wolf, hoping to lead it to the water hole she made beside it. Afterwards she puts a blanket of leaves over most of its body to give it something warm to rest in.
"Well, we should probably move on and let it rest. Pip, where do you think these imps came from?"
(With her rolls would she be able to "track" them in another way (smell, etc)? Forest being her favored terrain and fiends being favored enemies)
Either way she cannot get lost in a forest by non-magical means so when the others are done here she will move with them.
"All right, let's move! We've got devils to immolate!"

The wolf whines quietly as Liavyre tends to it, making sure it can rest as best it can in this barren area. There isn't much of plantlife beyond the roaming hills of Giant Steppe, but she does what she can. The wolf slowly closes its eyes, as it falls asleep, too tired to carry on.
"What, the imps?" Pip says. "Well the Abyss, methinks. Dunno who summoned them here, but it can't be good news for us if there could be a drow raiding party nearby. They're pretty deadly from what I've heard, even the best of scouts would think twice about taking a mission if the drow are near the surface."
The group continues, as the dusty land seems to quickly become a desert beneath their feet. The land feels stagnant, as if something that defiled it long ago still keeps its tainting touch in the area. "This place really gives me bad vibes." Pip mentions as they continue onward. After a few hours of travel, it feels like it will be getting to sunrise soon, though the land still feels cold and desolate. Ahead, the group can see on the horizon a large amount of dead trees, all gnarled and blackened; as if they were burnt by searing dragon fire and left as charcoal as a reminder to the dangers of this world. "We're almost there." Pip mentions. "Just keep an eye out, there could be some powerful devils nearby, and we are not geared to fight them, especially if we had troubles with a single hill giant."

Liavyre says, "What a sight, all the charred trees everywhere... Once we get to the dead forest ahead, I will be able to sense them at quite a distance away. But, I feel you're correct Pip. Their power is beyond any of us combined."
When the group is ready to move, she will pat some of the dusty sand on her scale mail, then scout ahead for any sign of danger.
Perception 25
Sand gets in her eyes from her armor the second she starts to walk.
Great evil has tortured this place. There may be many more fiends around."

Liavyre attempts to get a better view, but a gust of wind whips sand into her eyes, causing them to water.
Fjorgin looks around his nearby vicinity, using his heightened senses granted by Pelor, and discovers the following:
There are no celestials within 60 feet of him.
There are no fiends within 60 feet of him.
There are no undead within 60 feet of him.
The area that the group is standing on feels desecrated. The land is severely ingrain with the diabolic taint of the centuries that the lower planes have ravaged the prime material. While it has no negative effects on him and his group, it is probable that there are hotspots where the desecration will be harmful to the group.

The group continues forward as dawn comes. However, it is not the usual glorious sunshine you are used to. Looking up, you can see that the sky is a dim grey colour, the sun's rays being blocked by a blanket of stormclouds. There is no sign of rain here, though the weather above looks like a cloudburst is imminent.
The group continues towards the treeline. As they are getting close, Pip nudges the group and points off to the side. "Quick, to the trees, as fast as you can. Hide!" He says before scurrying with an unfathomable amount of speed for such a short creature. Off to where Pip pointed, an enormous form of a hound can be seen digging out of the dusty ground. Its legs look around the size of the trees nearby and it seems to be coated in a flowing layer of black flames, its eyes a piercing orange as it pulls the rest of its body out onto the ground. The hound hasn't looked over at the group yet, so they have time to rush as quickly as they can over the dust and sand.
(I would like everyone to make either a DC 12 Athletics or Acrobatics check as you are running on almost silt-like sand to get to the treeline for cover, either by brute force or attempting to keep your footing on the insubstantial terrain. Assuming you wish to hide from the aberrant monstrosity, that is.)
If you're really interested, Pip has 25 feet movement, plus using dash as his action, and using his Cunning Action to dash once again, so 75 feet per round.

Liavyre sees the massive creature and instinctively breaks for cover by using her elf agility. She knows this thing is far too strong just by a brief glance.
Acrobatics 13
She runs as fast as possible, holding her longbow across her body to aid her balance and using her quick feet to avoid falling. With a quick cartwheel, she makes it behind cover near Pip.

Thea watches the scouts run for their life as they had towards the withered threes. She immediatly decideds to follow them, but it only takes her a few steps to realize that balancing herself on the soil might be too much of a challenge. Without a moment of hesitation, she concentrates her psychic forces to enhance her agility, thus focussing on remaining upright while dashing on top of the sand.
Acrobatics: 12
OOC: I was hoping to avoid this, but as before i would leave it up to your decision whether changing the Psychic Focus like that is okay or not. As a general question, what would be the pure distance we need to cover, just the 75 ft that pip manages to run or is it more than that?

The group rushes as fast as they can towards the treeline. Some taking to the treeline, others perching in it. Looking back, however, it seems that Fjorgin lost his footing halfway there and is recovering from the fall.
For Ragmin:
You have heard rumours about these beasts, but never seen one. It is apparently something that has recently spawned from the eternal depths of the lower planes. A hellhound, thrown into the endless chaos of Limbo, returned with new, very dangerous, capabilities. They usually have different afflictions from being there, as limbo is a world of imbalance. This Chaos Hound seems to be one of those creatures.
The enormous beast looks around its environment, keeping an eye on the patch of light off in the distance as it lets out an ear-piercing screech, much higher in note than what one would imagine from such a huge creature. (Think the noise a ringwraith's fell beast makes)
Please can everyone make a DC 15 Wisdom Saving Throw, those with Passive Perception 13 or higher have disadvantage, as it bores into their acute senses.
(For reference, it hasn't noticed Fjorgin at this point. He has a chance to attempt to retreat again. Only DC 8 this time.)

(The wolf looks so weary it can't even get back to its feet.)
The tricky thing about imps is that they don't leave tracks on the floor thanks to those little leathery wings on their backs.
