Riw
Selinae stabilizes at 1 HP coming to consciousness but taking ragged breathes from her huddled heap on the deck.
As soon as Jenna comes on deck she needs to make a DEX saving throw DC 15 having triggered a snare trap set by Grim's crew along the entry/exit of the stairs leading below deck!
Ivey and Thorn are invisible somewhere on deck. Grim is invisible but there's an opaque orb surrounding the wheel of the skiff!
Riw is up making an action perception check with possible movement. Again it will take 1 rounds double dash and 1/2 movement at 30 speed to get above deck! Essentially 2 rows to act.
Top round 4 on deck.
Leela waiting.

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC Since Leela is still downstairs, I'm guessing she will be making a perception check with disadvantage again? Or did Jenna moving around downstairs make enough noise that it's a straight perception roll?)
Jenna bypasses the snare trap a finds herself on a seemingly empty deck! The skiff is sailing through the fridge evening temperatures but as she looks to where the wheel should be she only sees an opaque dome!
Meanwhile below deck...
Riw bolts upright in bed! He's been soubd asleep nearly all night but now wakes to the sounds of some sort of scuffing on deck! Leela wakes to the sound of Jenna jogging up the steps and on to the deck but the noise isn't telling, just noise to the minatour!
Leela has movement left.
Jenna is up!
Selinae on deck (literally and figuratively hahaha)

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
(Assuming that she can see the prone form where she left Sel on the watch changeover and given that she can't see anyone else on deck, her first priority would be to make sure her friend is ok)
Realising at the last moment that she had triggered a trap, Jenna curses but manages to move quickly to one side just in time. As her eyes become accustomed to the darkness, she glances around again. Unable to see anyone she crouches and makes her way towards Sel.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Selinae carefully dragged herself into a crouch and looked around for something heavy to throw at the weird orb....keeping an ear out for whoever stabbed her...they needed throwing as well.
Leela is without armour as she is in her night attire, but grabs her shield as she creeps to the top of the stairs.
She sees Sel prone and clasps her amulet of Selune, raising it slightly and whispering to her goddess for assistance. A sphere of twilight, barely perceptible in the half light on deck, spreads out for 30 ft around her.
(OOC Channel Divinity - When her colleagues end a turn within the sphere, they gain 1d6+5 temporary HP.
(Perception check to see if she notices Leela. Accidentally rolled performance which was 19+2. Her perception mod is +1, so 20 in total)
Jenna lays her slender hand on the Goliath’s shoulder “Me….I’m just peachy. Hang in there girlfriend” She shifts round trying to put herself between Sel and where the sound of Ivey’s voice is coming from
Then she calls out to Grim’s disembodied voice “End…what end? This feels more like the beginning of something”
"Your captain's dead as if the rest of the crew. You claim to be sailors but this desert is almost as unforgiving as I am," Grim calls out through the dome.
Leela is hard to miss coming on deck with her flash of divine light gaining temporary HP. Ivey remains hidden undetected by Jenna!
Selinae is up!
NPCs on deck (Adhida and Maanai are the only living "good" NPCs left FYI)
Selinae was badly hurt....though she felt a little better for some reason when Leela came on deck...
She got completely to her feet and began walking across the deck to where Grim apparently was....it was either that or just sit and wait to die....she knew she was useless at picking up small details so hopefully which ever of the two tried to stab her had a sudden attack of the hiccups.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As Jenna approaches Selinae finally crosses paths with Ivey still invisible and the drow assassin takes her chance again to fulfill her captain's command!
Assassinate attacks on Jenna
Attack 1: 24 Damage: 5; the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 24 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If failed Glyph will have the poisoned condition.
Attack 1: 17 Damage: 3
Sneak attack :11
Grim remains half in the opaque dome.
From the crow's nest above Thorn fires twice at Selinae! from his vantage gaining the upper hand from above!
Attack 1: 22 Damage: 8
Attack 2: 25 Damage: 9
TOP of round 3
Leela is up. I'll say she's made it to the steps.
Jenna on deck.

Selinae takes the hit but remains standing, quickly calculating the only place it could have come from she runs towards the mast and leaps off the ground and halfway up the mast jumping up further to grab hold of the crows nest and pull it down using her considerable body-weight.
( With run up she can leap 12ft straight up, grab the mast then climb 15' up ( Dash) then BA to grab hold of the crows nest and hang off the bottom of it

Selinae cannot see anyone on deck and doesn't seem to find anything loose on deck to throw!
Coming out of invisibility Thorn appears just short of the opaque dome Tiny Hut with a crossbow trained on Jenna.
"Drop your weapons and surrender or I will fire," Thorn exclaims to Jenna in a sharp tone but Ivey remains unseen.
Selinae's frantic search yields nothing but a hissing tone that comes from the shadows on the deck.
"I'll take you down, surrender," Ivey barks at Selinae but remains hidden!
"This doesn't need to be the end friends," Grim's voice comes from the opaque dome!
Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.

Selinae chuckled, " Damn your good...."
" You wanna come out where I can see you so we can dance properly?"
