Ivey drops her daggers and submits. Then suddenly you hear Adhida exasperated sigh as she storms off the deck to go below aa Maanai follows after her! Maanai casts a sorrowful glance at the party as they disappear below deck with their cousin. Leaving the party in charge of their prisoners.

Ivey's daggers vanish in a puff of shadowy smoke and she raises her hands allowing the manacles to be put on. Ivey's eyes clear from blindness as the assassin remains kneeling by the body of her twin brother.
"Heal him," Ivey says gesturing at her twin her tone still very desperate!

Leela murmurs to Ivey, "I can only heal him if he still clings to life, not if he has taken the step into the afterlife. I will do what I can."
Leela catches Maanai's look as they pass. She shrugs slightly as she says "I know. These people killed those dear to me too, but she has asked for mercy, and mercy is what the goddess would want."
She turns to Selinae and Jenna. "Do you have another set of manacles for Thorn, or some rope, before I attempt to heal him? I am not so zealous that I would heal him without care for our safety."
Once she is satisfied that Thorn is also restrained, she touches her amulet and hums, casting Healing Word on Thorn, healing him 8 HP.
(OOC does this bring him back to consciousness, or had he used up his death saves?)
Thorn remains still, unmoving. After Leela's attempt doesn't revive him, Ivey bursts into further sobs as she lays on the dead body of her twin. This close now the party is having a hard time distinguishing one from the other...death is the only thing separating them.

Jenna chews her lip as she watches Ivey sobbing over her lifeless brother. After a little while she gently pulls her away, re-securing the manacles so one end is attached to the rail of the shop (or something similarly strong)
"Believe it or not, I am sorry for your loss"
She returns to the others "Manacled or not, we don't want her going invisible again and taking off. At least this way she's secured to the boat."
Then she looks at Leela "Thank you...you saved my ass"
Selinae releases Thorn from her grip, which was serving for manacles....she lay him down again, closed his eyes looked around at the rest of the dead and walked over to Grims corpse and began vigorously kicking the hell out of it.
After a few moments she stopped, " Who wants to help me care for the dead crew. I don't know the local customs."
She smiles gently at Jenna. "It is my calling to offer succour. I cannot bring myself to attack another living creature, but I will assist my colleagues in whatever ways I may." She brushes Jenna lightly on the shoulder and gives her a Vigilant Blessing (OOC - advantage on the next initiative roll.)
Leela then begins to assist Selinae. "I do not know the local customs either, but I am sure the Goddess Selune's watchful eye and blessing will not offend."
She bows to each of the fallen in turn, murmuring soft words and touching her amulet as she casts light briefly on an item each are wearing, sending them to the goddess's embrace. Leela leaves checking Riw's room until last.
Coming below deck the party finds Maanai and Adhida already in Riw room. It looks like the dragonborn, captain, and all the crew suffered the same fate as thier attackers. Adhida has wrapped Riwakan body in his hammock and the captain is wrapped as well.
"We...we will continue and make their sacrifice meaningful, " Maanai says their tone somber. "I...we were trapped in our cabin," the male points to their cabin door which is splintered and charred.
"I am sorry we took so long to give aid, " Adhida says her tone is frantic as her expression as inky black still seems to stain her hands having cast necromantic magic! "We...they should go in the hold," she adds but looks to Leela. "Is there anyway you can make sure they don't....come back, " she asks Leela. "I know the spell but I can't cast it," she then explains.

Leela moves slowly to Riw's side. She breathes a prayer and thanks him for his sacrifice on their journey.
She turns to Adhida. "My lady, there is no need to blame yourself. You did what you could, and without your presence, more of us would have lost our lives today. I know a spell that will make sure our departed sleep softly until we can bury them properly, but I cannot cast it just yet. I will need to spend time praying to Lady Selune for her assistance before I will be able to do so. The spell is known as Gentle Repose. Is this the spell you were referring to, or do you know another?"
"Yes...I never learned it," Adhida replies frowning.
Maanai guides Adhida out of the cabin and up on deck. The party is alone on the skiff now. Leela, Selinae, Jenna, and the cousins nearly half a week out from Anjara heading still, they hope, towards Dendarah.
OOC anything y'all like to offer to move the progress forward. It's still very early morning and I'd say everyone's got a full rest but has used whatever spells or features used in combat.

Leela looks around. "Jenna, Selinae... if our friends Maanai and Adhida are able to commandeer the skiff for a little, you two probably need some time to recover from this morning's encounter. I can watch over the departed and speak with Ivey while you rest, and then we can make further plans. Does that sit well with you?"
Before they take a short rest though, Leela returns to her cabin to dress properly and don her armour.
Once they were alone Selinae turned to her friend, " All that death, that was my fault Jen. I fell asleep on watch, I said we should rescue those people.....I killed everyone.........."
" What do I do?", she broke down into wracking sobs that threatened to split open the tear in her gut that magic had only just sealed..
( Short Rest- Selinae spends 4 HD to get back to full health.)
Jenna sits down beside Sel, taking hold of the Goliath’s hand. She waits until the sobs begin to ease.
”You weren’t the one that killed them. And you weren’t the only one who welcomed them aboard. I should have known better.” She squeezes Sel’s hand ”Maybe keep the bit about you falling asleep between us though, hey”
(Short rest - 5 HD to get back to full HP. Are the THP still active?)

As she walks back from her cabin, Leela hears the goliath's sobs through the door. She sighs deeply and places a hand on the doorframe, willing Selinae to feel some comfort.
She walks up the steps to the deck to check on Ivey and see whether Adhida and Maanai need any assistance, planning to head back down to keep vigil over the deceased if all is OK on deck.
(OOC - Have M and A moved any of the bodies on the deck, or are they as Leela had left them after giving her light blessing? And is Ivey still manacled to the railing?

Selinae have Jenna a weak smile and closed her eyes as she leaned back against the ships timbers...
Together Selinae and Jenna think they can pilot the sand skiff fairly easily. It's concepts are the sane equal parts sea sailing vessel and sky ship! Working together both women are completely capable and with the remaining party to aid them it will be tolerably easy to handle if there's trouble. Only thing is...who's going to navigate to Dendarah?
Ivey sits slumped against the railing where she was left. She's got a blank look on her face staring at the place Thorn's body fell. Maanai comes back on deck taking Ivey below to a makeshift brigg where Ivey and the still unconscious Kessler will be locked into Riw now empty cabin.
"If you try anything, anything at all you and your lingering companion will join your leader and your brother in whatever comes after this life, " Maanai threatens you can hear they are speaking through gritted teeth regardless of their mask hiding their face!
OOC Who's going to navigate? Search for maps? Speak to the dead captain Vanya?
"Hey we've got this Sel." She looks out across the sand "We just need to work out where to go! There's got to be some charts onboard....surely"
(OOC Jenna has a +1 to survival with an extra D4 so could try and navigate. Investigation is also just a +1, but maybe she could help look for the maps)
