Finley Stoneshaft, Dwarf Artificer - The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, Falkas, Half-Elf Drow Warlock - Keys of Empire
"Thank you Finley, I feel much better now. My ancestor Gan-Dalf was supposed to have been an expert at air combat, I was hoping for more from his name-sake against a flying snake.” Gan-Re takes another Javelin “Oh well, this Javelin is named after Gan-Far and she killed a Hydra. I’m sure that a flying worm will be no problem for this one.” Gan-Re goes up the stairs keeping an eye open for snakes or traps.
Gan-re heads up onto the next floor. There is light streaming in from a gaping hole in the tower wall. Assortments of tables and old alchemist equipment. Moth eaten papers are scattered on the floor. There is a ladder on the far wall that leads to a hatch.
There in the middle of the room is the large flying snake.
"Danks.. danks, deez snakes are trouble. Very strong and scary mhm, but glad we made it in here I am." Hisashi stretches her arms as she assesses the wounds she picked up, letting out a sigh. "We go up now yes?"
I'm not sure what happened, but I added movement up the stairs to this post and a held action of throwing a dart if I see the flying snake through a window or opening.

(OOC: I think that Hisa would have also been attacking, in the previous round.)
I am just saying that last round Hisashi chucked a dart and it misses. Then Gan-re came up chucked javelin and is now grappled. So It is now Hisashi's turn still.
Valrieth's stomach does a somersault when she realizes that Hisa already went upstairs by herself. "Hisa! Wait!", she calls, moving to the foot of the stairs. Val is just starting to climb the stairs when she sees Gan-Re fly up before her. The sounds of flapping wings from above become louder and more chaotic. Val rushes up the remaining stairs, muttering, "Fates save us from the foolhardy!"
Val emerges on the second floor to see the flying snake dragging Gan-Re to the hole in the wall and Hisa throwing another dart. She thinks that they need to prevent the snake from dragging Gan-Re out of the tower at all costs, and she hopes that Finley was right behind her. Val shouts, "Finley, it's got Gan-Re!" and moves to position herself for a clear (ranged) shot at the snake while remaining as far from the snake as she can.
Clutching her star map in her hand, Val casts a spell at the flying snake, and a silvery bolt of light, like a shooting star, streaks across the room with a sizzling hiss.
The glowing motes of light and luminous lines on Val shimmer and shift into the constellation of the archer. With a low, almost metallic thrumming sound, a light like a glowing arrow shoots from Val toward the flying snake.
Movement: climbing the stairs and moving enough so that she's not blocking the top of the stairs, but not approaching the snake. Action: Cast spell (LVL 1 as subclass feature: 1/2 per LR) Guiding Bolt, 18, Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. radiant (If the bolt hits, the next attack roll made against this target before the end of your next turn has advantage.) Bonus Action: expend 1 use of Wild Shape to change to the Archer starry form and attack. Archer Starry Form (range: 60), 7 (second d20 if she has advantage: 7), Damage: 9 radiant Free Action: Talking

Gan-re is now grappled.
It then moves at half speed dragging Gan-re towards the large hole in the wall. It stops close at the edge as it can go no further for this round.
Hisashi you're turn next
Everyone hears a struggle above, but no one is sure what is happening on the second floor.
(OOC: I think that Hisa would have also been attacking, in the previous round.)
Well I am not going to retcon. Lets says Hisashi is up on the second floor with Gan-re. The dart is a miss.
In regards to the crate its standard crate that is shut. Yes someone can hide behind if they crouch or of short stature.
Gan-Re shouts "Kill the snake, don't let it get away. I'm slowing it down I think"

(OOC: Hm. I'm a little confused now. Is Hisa up? Or do you mean that you're counting that for Hisa's action this round, and it's Val's turn?)

That's fine with me! Hisashi goes up another floor repeating her dart throw if she sees another opening "snake slippery!"
Dart attack: 22 to hit for 5 dmg
That hits and the dart sticks out of flesh of the flying snake.
Val its you're turn is next.
