OOC: The characters will start at 150' from the upper northwest corner of map in PITCH BLACK DARKNESS. The area is filled with shadowy forms with shouts of battle emanating from them. Total concealment (Heavily Obscured/Blinded Condition), Disadvantage on attacks until players get into dark vision range or set up light sources. Everything is mark with the "bag" symbol to denote movement sensed but unknown type in that area.
Assuming Guile's familiar will be flying ahead for reconnaissance. Owls normally 13 stealth but during the mass battle opponents will be at disadvantage, so stealth for the owl will effectively be 18.
Pet owners, I'm assuming your pets are arrayed around/next you unless you order them to do elsewise.
Ravager watches Rog rage and charge. "Well, shouldn't be too hard to follow the sounds of a raging barbarian." She walks after him, beginning to fire as she sees the ribbons and their attackers.
Gema 18 (Stealth 15, this is if you decide to keep this instead of charging, read my information about stealth below)
Ravager 17
Rog 13
Aegnor 9
Enemy Grp 3 6
Zelgius 4
Enemy Grp 4 3
No surprise possible since the targets are already in combat (Had to research that one to make sure). BUT you can get advantage to hit your target if they don't see you before you make your attack. Note: Going stealth mode requires an action to do so, so no dash 1st round of stealth, but in the rounds afterward, you can do a dash action while still under stealth until you reveal yourself through an action, such as an attack, spell casting, speaking, someone spots you, falling to your death (Laugh :), etc...
Remember: The combat area is in total darkness, so the targets are indiscernible until you get into your personal Dark Vison range or a light source is used the brighten the area. Using a light source will give away your location, so I am going to say you didn't cast any light spells yet if you want to be sneaky and Rog's battle cry wouldn't be noticed over the sound of battle that far away.
Everyone assume you are going to 150' away from where you plan to enter on the northwest side of the map (Upper lefthand) and 300' from the southeastern corner of the map.
Ravager ties the yellow ribbon in her hair and casts "Mage Armor" as she walks. As soon as she can see the enemies, she begins Eldritch Blasting with her firearm shaped Arcane focus. 600 ft range with Eldritch Lance and Spell Sniper. (how many shots can she get as they approach?). She casts Blade Ward as they get to melee range, and a scimitar apparently made of shadow materializes into her hand.
As soon as Ravager can see who's wearing what ribbons and collars, she begins firing, concentrating on the unmarked attacking the marked.
13 to hit 1st beam, 26 to hit second. Both on same target, rolled on character sheet.
2 pts dam for first shot, 1 pt for 2nd.
"Argh! I must not have gotten my land legs yet."
Ravagers darkvision is 60 ft, so she should be able to see the closest combatants (looks like 50-60 ft away with 5' squares)
She'll sneak into a snipers position using the tree 9 squares down from the top and three squares in from the left border as cover, while the other characters (except Rog) sneak in. She'll provide cover fire on whoever the party is attacking, first attack described earlier.
If the enemy comes toward her, she casts Blade ward and holsters her "firearm", switching to her hexblade.
Vanja has no dark vision but has excellent perception, so she’s following the sounds of the raging barbarian and Bridgette, until she’s in range, when she pulls out her moontouched long sword and uses it to see her foe.
Upon entering the darkness, the Kumiho decides to stop running and keep a safe distance as she blasts 2nd level mind spike at enemy group 1
Spell description:
You reach into the mind of one creature you can see within range. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw, taking 15 psychic damage (Game log) on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. On a failed save, you also always know the target’s location until the spell ends, but only while the two of you are on the same plane of existence. While you have this knowledge, the target can’t become hidden from you, and if it’s invisible, it gains no benefit from that condition against you.
Inside her head as she hears Gema's sigh: Why the long face, lady? Lighten up a little will ya it's combat time! And where's that dark guy that was trailing behind your back?
"Ugh... I can't see..." The dark knight groans even though he has darkvision... Only to realise that everyone else has gone off deeper into the darkness. "Wait... where did everyone charge into...? Oh great..." He pulls out Alondite from his back and slowly trudges towards enemy territory whilst keeping his distance... all the while controlling a tiny zombie that may be used for... wait.
Action:Readies himself as he gazes at the zombie he's controlling (Trigger: If he sees anyone within 5ft of him, he will command his zombie to attack first from a distance)
"You." He commands the zombie. "Move as far as you can into the darkness to see where the others are located. But don't attack with them yet until I say so. I want to analyse what we're fighting first. If anyone does attack you first though, don't even hesitate to retaliate."
Guile thinks aloud to the group Shall I start a brush fire to light up our targets? The enemies should head towards my position. I like that, we'll know which to kill.

"If you start a fire, make it far enough away not to interfere with night vision. Maybe the opposite side of the enemy would draw their attention and they'd turn their backs."
The shadowy form targeted by Kumiko gives out a loud gurgle of pain and promptly falls over and lies still. (Kumiko could sense its location just before she killed it!) Kumiko was not noticed because the spell was Somatic only with no visible line of attack (Psychic).
[let us assume that everyone spent 2 rounds to go stealth mode get close enough to make the attacks (Mind Spike has a range of 60'), so I'm ruling this round 3's attack will be at advantage to hit (Considered invisible until you attack or come within Darkvision range, then stealth rolls required)]
Everyone is approximately 60' from the dead creature.
Rog can be within 30' of the killed creature while still stealth mode, if he chooses. Vanja can be with 45', Zelgius' zombie is "dashing" as quickly as it can with a movement of 20', will be 70' from the newly made corpse. It will be noticed on its turn round 3.

Rog looks at Kumiko smiles and yells , "GLORY FOR THE PACK!" Then charges the front lines and rages as a bonus action.

"Brother wait...! Oh... okay, looks like he's already gone. Well Vanja, guess we'd better get up there before he gets himself in real trouble."
Bridgette will also go ahead and run towards the dark spot.
Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Provide feedback!
Vanja’s moon-touched sword glimmers in the darkness, providing her with light. She runs with Bridgette.

Kumiko also sets up a telepathic bond with the other two telepaths as she keeps a distance from her next victims
Ravager watches Rog rage and charge. "Well, shouldn't be too hard to follow the sounds of a raging barbarian." She walks after him, beginning to fire as she sees the ribbons and their attackers.
Gema gives a telepathic *sigh* at the lack of subtly, and follows the barbarian

Indiscernible means you can tell something is in a square but you have disadvantage hitting it. (And it maybe a tree stump!)
