Syl, after naming his crossbow as if it was some legendary weapon, thunks it over the head of Zombie E, felling the foul fake form of life. Then asks the newly freed Orcs if they have any liquor on hand. They sneer and growl a bit and inform Syl they’ve not had clean water in weeks but sure, they have a barrel of the good stuff aging in the crevice over there…
Jaylan moves up besides Nefire and attacks the ghoul she is engaged with, landing a solid hit with his longsword, the blade hacking deep into the creatures chest and getting stuck in it’s ribcage, though Jaylan is able to pull the blade free once the creature falls for the final time… As he frees the blade he looks to the Abomination and lays his Hexblade’s Curse upon it.(Grey Border to indicate this)
The Frozen Ghouls behind the abomination are agitated and visible trying to squeeze their way past their large and in charge leader (?) to get to the party… but don’t quite make it yet.
Dabbert…. Dabbert hesitates and finds no enemies to attack except perhaps the oncoming green abomination…?
Raevynmoves up closer to the combat, moving to be just next to Nefire. She starts to ask Nefire to assist Dabbert once the ghoul is down.. But oh!The ghoul is down.“Perfect, now you can definitely show Dabbert how it’s done…”. With the ghoul down her Toll the Dead is targeted at the last remaining zombie instead which fails it’s Wis Save and takes full damage. The zombie is now on it’s last leg… figuratively, at least until Pauwau attacks…
Pauwaulunges in and clamps their powerful jaws upon the Zombie’s leg… Shaking and worrying their head back and forth with a snarling hate, the leg is quickly torn off and the zombie falls dead.
Krumarmore or less sticks with the adorable doctor of death, perhaps against his better judgement… But finding no targets left to insult he directs his vicious mockery instead at the monstrosity.“Your minions flesh smells of rotten liver and onions!” Krumar insists! It’s really unclear if this is an insult or just a sign that Krumar is hungry… The abomination pauses in it’s attempt to push through the rubble, cocks it’s head, then growls in the pain of the insult!Krumar gets “first blood” versus the thing!
The Abominationwedges it’s left shoulder out of the tunnel and shoves the debris on the right out of it’s way the best it can, pretty much freeing itself… though that’s it’s turn.
Zombie G, which was taken down by Pauwau, shudder as if returning to unlike… but fails.
Zombie E, deadified by Sylrieth, begins to press it’s hands to the floor in an attempt to rise once more…
Winug and Ogol both go to town on the prone zombie and smash it into a very sour mash…. “Is zombie juice a spirit you be wanting?” They ask Syl.
Wrug grunts and a “Thanks” may have been in that sound, or not.He then starts heading south towards the main caves but Habub grabs his arms and stops him.
“They saved us, we should help them,” Habub growls to the other…. Though it’s unclear which way the orcs will break.
To Act:Still need Dabbert’s action!Kind of assuming he’ll attack the abomination but….?Then it’ll be Nefire to act!
After this round the new entrants (Frozen and Abomination) are worked into initiative so they will break up things a bit more, fyi… All zombies are dead, as are all ghouls in the "active" arena. All threats are now currently in the western tunnel...

Dabbert looks on at the Abomination (because, really, what the hell do you call that thing?) before uttering a sigh and steadying his resolve. Trying to bottle neck their enemies in the tunnel they were coming out of, he surges forward until he's within range and attacks with his halberd, slashing with the head, jabbing with the butt, then slashing again before stepping back and readying himself to attack again if it comes within his reach.
"Get ready!" He calls to his friends. "We uh...have plenty of company coming!"
Turn Summary
Movement: Moves forward and back, staying in roughly the same area but trying to bottle neck the tunnel.
Note: I added Bless in Parenthesis below. I rolled it for all attack rolls because I think that's how it works but I don't remember and was having a major brain fart even when I reread the spell tonight...so that first Roll is the only one I'm really worried about having it...
Dabbertputs his halberd in... Dabbert puts his halberd out... Dabbert thrusts his Halberd in and he shakes it all about... Dabbert indeed easily slaps his halbert across the abomination with every slash and bash dealing a good bit amount of damage and making the thing shriek in fury, a sound not dissimilar to an avalanche. (Yes, Bless works "Whenever" you make an attack or save until the end. So yep, each attack...) Dabbert leaves himself positioned so anything coming out of the tunnel must go by him before flooding out into the main chamber. ((Which may or may not matter, depending if he has a reaction to use...))
"He said what?!" Nefire growls as she grips her greataxe hard. Without another word at the manipulating doctor, Nefire charges forth to the abomination, rage fully encompassing her small stature as she reaches the creature and swipes... and completely misses his body with the frustration building in her, making her misjudge the distance.
The halfling is now the only thing in the huge creatures way... maybe it won't see her? XD
Nefire charges forward, ducking under Dabbert's legs in order to get in front of him and swaing her greataxe at the abomination... But alas, in her anger and haste she misjudged the distance just a wee bit and her swing comes up short, the momentum making her spin around a whole 360 before steadying herself.

Ghoul time...
The Ghouls are at the back of the pack but eager and yammering to get through and attack. G 5 moves through his companions space, shoving a frozen ghoul aside and then ducking under the abomination's legs, and gets into the free spot in front of Nefire... Doing so, however, trigger's Dabbert'sreaction and he quickly slashes out with his polearm above Nefire's head and lodging his weapon almost halfway through the ghoul! G 5 isn't quite dead yet though (well it's dead but not dead dead.. You know what I mean!) and it swipes at Nefire with a claw...
G 5 claw attack vs Nefire: 20 to hit for 5 damage (I think that hits so I need a DC 10 Con Save by Nefire or be paralyzed for 1 min... Save at end of each turn.)
G2 and G6 are also both eager to move forward and attack, alas there is no place for them to get to and they're stuck for the time being...

Orc Turn!
Wrug shrugs out of Habub's grip. "We've been through enough! Let them handle this," he growls at Habub and then books it for the exit. (runs off map...)
Ogol and Winug seem to have the same mindset and follow suit...
Habub is more hesitant... He grunts and steps a little farther from the melee but also a bit more north so he can see it better. He continues looking from the combat to his fleeing companions and then back again back and forth...

Next up is Syl and Jaylan... and then the Frozen Ghouls.

“You should go” says Jaylan to the orcs then he takes a step forward but seeing the bottleneck is already forming at the entrance of the tunnel he stops and hurls the eldritch energy to launch it at the big abomination. But he hesitates, Dabbert is near, then is Nefire who is in the middle, then a ghoul, Althea Dabbert again… no wait he sees an opening, releases his magic and hits Dabbert’s halberd edge when the warrior raises it up again.
Syl casts his eyes about for this corner hooch storage, not seeing the barrels anywhere. When he looks back, the Orcs have fled. "Balderdashers! We've been had! I'm starting to think these guys don't have any alcohol, at all."
Noticing the rest of the party seems preoccupied with something to the west, Syl takes a step south and peers around the pillar in the center of the room. Immediately regretting that decision, he spies the horde of ghouls surrounding the glowing green monstrosity. "Gadzooks! An abominable snow orc!"
Not quite aware of what he is doing, he channels a bit of mental power and flicks it off toward the big green goof as he moves to get close to the rest of his allies.

((To be clear, that is a pit in the center of the room, not a pillar... ))
Syl, disappointed and irate over the lack of booze stored by the Orc slaves, shouts after them in typical "Get off my lawn!" fashion and then strikes out at the biggest opponent he can find! The large abomination made of torn flesh and green rock shakes it's head and roars angrily before turnings and stomping off down the tunnel away from the annoying echoes inside it's head. It has to push through a swarm of ghouls so it doesn't get quite as far as it otherwise would but it has retreated into the darkness....
Jaylan is just stepping forward to unleash an Eldritch Blast when the abomination retreats and that throws his aim off...

Pink Border - Dead.
Yellow Border - Blessed via Raevyn (4 of 10 rounds used)
Krumar watches the running Orcs and takes offense...he's still here no matter how badly he wants to run "Hey you yellow bellied sprites! We are orcs! We don't run away in the face of danger! Get back here and fight for your kind or you disgrace your families!" Krumar then turns to the ghoul alongside his companions "Hey pick on someone your own size....like Dabbert!"
Krumar casts Vicious Mockery on FGB! DC: 13 WIS Save Damage: 1d4 (2) [magical psychic] = 2Effect: Wisdom saving throw or take 1d4 psychic damage and have disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.
The Doctor wasn't mad, she was just disappointed. There was a growing undead crowd blocking her view and now the abomination was retreating. She barely got a look! Raevyn exhales and adjusts her attire. Straightening up to adjust her focus, her eyes scan her companions to see if they require any restoration.
"There are wolves out there." Raevyn calls out to the fleeing orcs without looking back. "And if I find one harmed, I will come for you." She then raises her little bell and chimes it once more. "Shame." Chime. "Shame." Chime.
(Cast Toll the Dead: Wis ST DC13 Damage: 7 ) (VS a damaged baddie (G5 or FG-B?)
Raevyn clicks her tongue. With a grumble and roll of their eyes, Pauwau lazily goes to gnaw at a leg.
(VS FG-A or FG-B?) (Bite w/ adv (Pack Tactics): 20 Damage: 8 ) (If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 11 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.)
The frozen ghoul reaches out and grabs Dabbert's collar bone, opening a terrible wound. Blood flows freely before a moment. Dabbert lets go of his halberd for a second with one hand and reaches up to staunch the bleeding, taking a breath before regaining his composure and putting his bloody hand back on his halberd.
"Gonna take more than that to put me in the ground!" He says, attacking with his halberd but finding his grip now slick with blood.
Dab moves back out of the thing's reach, chancing incurring its wrath as he readies his halberd again...
Turn Summary
Staying around the mouth of the tunnel, kinda moving in and out to attack.
Dabberttakes the hit like a Boss! But then gets demoted once everyone see's his counter attack... (Still, he'll regain that Cred if/when that Boss Oppo Attack triggers!). FG A gets an opportunity attack when Dabbert moves a bit north...
FGA Oppo Attack: 13 to Hit for 8 Damage and a Con save if that hit... (Pretty sure it didn't.)
Krumar taunts that gaunt, ragged, hostage Orcs who were fleeing for their lives. He uses his bardic wit and way with words to appeal to their sense of racial pride... And it works. A bit. They slow their retreat and actually turn around. They gather by the entrance but return no closer. They can be seen gathering up some of the larger nearby rocks though... (Normal rocks, like to chuck at anything that comes to attack them.)
"Don't judge them too harshly," Habub asks. "We've... we've been trapped here for weeks..."
Krumar follows this up by mocking the real enemy... And they're a sensitive ghoul so FGB takes 4 damage (I rolled... you're welcome? lol)
---
Greenstone Abomination's turn...
Growling and angry after having been forced to retreat, the Greenstone Abomination comes racing back... But there are two of his ghouls in his way! With a snarl he just plays offensive lineman and shoves them forward... (Ghouls get some free movement which they wouldn't need anyway? And Abomination's turn is done.)
---
Raevynis disappointed she never got a good look at the abomination, but now it is returning again. Maybe a small smile creeps onto her lips? But still, it's a bit far back and there's a lot going on in front of it.
"Wolves?" one of the Orcs, Ogol maybe? call back to her. "Why would we harm wolves?? We just want out of here alive, lady!"
Raevyn gives the Orcs a warning glare and then starts chanting Shame and ringing her bell... Maybe they think it's aimed at them and they really get scared? But in truth her bell tolls for the wounded Ghoul... And it takes the hit bit it really doesn't have much left in it. (G5 takes 1 hp dam...)
Pauwau also shamed, them out of does wolf things and into fighting, goes after Frozen Ghoul A and gets a good ole mouthful of frozen flesh...
** Edited in - Frozen Ghoul A makes his strength save to stay prone...**
NEFIRE is up!! Then the Ghouls...
Reminders!
Pink Border - Dead. Yellow Border - Blessed via Raevyn (5 of 10 rounds used) Grey Border - Jaylan’s Hexblade Curse Advantage on first attack vs FGA due to it slipping on rocks - Pauwau didn't use that up since they had pact tactics anyway Disadvantage for FGB for it's next attack due to Krumar's Mockery...
(It was FGB that fell on the rocks as it was trying to attack Nefire, and that's the one shes going for - hope she still gets adv?)
Seeing the frozen ghoul fall as it attempted to hit her, Nefire grins at the predicament the creature finds itself in now. Luckily no one is behind her as she swings the greataxe in a large arc around her body and brings it down to cleave the ghoul in half. (attack: 20, damage: 19)
Nefire, with prophetic words and grim determination, does indeed split one of the Frozen Ghouls in two! A spray of black ick, gore and you don't even want to know sprays over Frozen Ghoul B, Wolf and Nefire herself... But nobody was wearing dry clean only garments anyway. I hope.
---
Regular Gouls...
Ghoul 5, having heard Nefire, growls and launches themself at the diminutive warrior! Trying to eliminate the threat first or offering itself up for sacrifice is unclear... Ghoul 5 claw attack vs Nefire: 10 to hit for... Don't matter, the 10 don't hit.
Ghoul 2 moves to stand upon the remains of FGB and also attacks at Nefire, having just witnessed just what a threat she is... Ghoul 2 claw attack vs Nefire: 21 to hit for 8 damage and we'll be needing a DC 10 Con save or she be paralyzed for a min (save at end of turns)
Ghoul 6 squeezes past Ghoul 5 (difficult terrain but ain't aiming to go far) and moves into position to attack Nefire or Dabbert... But this trigger's Dabbert's held reaction! The whack from Dabbert's Polearm immediately smacks the Ghoul down to about half unlife but theyre still ticking... And that decides their target for them - They attack Dabbert... Ghoul 6 claw attack vs Dabbert: 8 to hit... which don't hit.
"Don't be so hard on them!" says Jaylan about scolding the captive orcs but he hasn't time to talk more as he moves in and tries to help the wolf taking care of the frozen ghoul.
Syl's walks a little closer to the swarm of ghouls pestering Dabbert and Nefire. Then he puts a finger to his temple and blasts his favorite sea shanty, dialed up to 11, into the mind of the nearest Ghoul.
Oh, poor old man your horse will die And we say so, and we know so Oh, poor old man your horse will die Oh, poor old man
We'll hoist him up to the main yardarm We'll hoist him up to the main yardarm
Say, I old man your horse will die Say, I old man your horse will die
We'll drop him down to the depths of the sea We'll drop him down to the bottom of the sea
We'll sing him down with a long, long roll Where the sharks'll have his body and the devil have have his sooooooooooooul!
[Syl moves 15' closer to the melee.
Mind Sliver: The target must succeed on a DC 14 Intelligence saving throw or take 5 psychic damage and subtract 4 from the next saving throw it makes before the end of your next turn.]

Sylsteps up and attempts to reenact scenes from Scanners and make a ghoul's head explode, but with a sea shanty score. It's a bit off... But surprisingly effective as Syl has the Frozen Ghoul grasping their head and shouting in pained anger. (Blue Border to indicate -1 from it's next saving throw...)
Jaylanis too worried about the Orc's feelings to aim straight and his blast goes astray...
---
The remaining Frozen Ghoul lets out a frustrated shout and spreads it's foul undead breath all over the place. There is no saving throw versus it's foul halitosis, everyone within five feet just automatically screws up their face in disgust at the rotted, decaying breath of this thing... Meanwhile, it attacks Nefire as it sees she has recently been hit and it tries to take advantage of that. Frozen Ghoul Claw Attack vs Nefire: 8 to hit... which misses.

2
Effect: Wisdom saving throw or take 1d4 psychic damage and have disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.
(Concentration Bless on Dabbert, Nefire and Syl.)
"There are wolves out there." Raevyn calls out to the fleeing orcs without looking back. "And if I find one harmed, I will come for you." She then raises her little bell and chimes it once more. "Shame." Chime. "Shame." Chime.
(Cast Toll the Dead: Wis ST DC13 Damage: 7 )
(VS a damaged baddie (G5 or FG-B?)
Raevyn clicks her tongue. With a grumble and roll of their eyes, Pauwau lazily goes to gnaw at a leg.
(VS FG-A or FG-B?)
(Bite w/ adv (Pack Tactics): 20 Damage: 8 )
(If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 11 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.)
just an unstable unicorn.
Bonus Action- Second Wind: Recovered 7 HP
Action- Attack: 10 to hit (assuming that missed)
Readied Reaction- Polearm Master Opportunity Attack: 25 (CRIT) to hit, 15 damage
DM of AURYN: The Measure of Devotion - Escape from New York
Dabbert takes the hit like a Boss!
---
Raevyn is disappointed she never got a good look at the abomination, but now it is returning again.
Yellow Border - Blessed via Raevyn (5 of 10 rounds used)
Grey Border - Jaylan’s Hexblade Curse
Advantage on first attack vs FGA due to it slipping on rocks - Pauwau didn't use that up since they had pact tactics anyway
Disadvantage for FGB for it's next attack due to Krumar's Mockery...
She then snears at G5, "You're next"
(You're right, and you do...)

SYL & JAYLAN are up!
(Condition reminders…)
Pink Border - Dead.
Yellow Border - Blessed via Raevyn (5 of 10 rounds used)
Grey Border - Jaylan’s Hexblade Curse
"Don't be so hard on them!" says Jaylan about scolding the captive orcs but he hasn't time to talk more as he moves in and tries to help the wolf taking care of the frozen ghoul.
( Attack 11 for 7 damage on game log)
PbP Character: A few ;)
Syl's walks a little closer to the swarm of ghouls pestering Dabbert and Nefire. Then he puts a finger to his temple and blasts his favorite sea shanty, dialed up to 11, into the mind of the nearest Ghoul.
Oh, poor old man your horse will die
And we say so, and we know so
Oh, poor old man your horse will die
Oh, poor old man
We'll hoist him up to the main yardarm
We'll hoist him up to the main yardarm
Say, I old man your horse will die
Say, I old man your horse will die
We'll drop him down to the depths of the sea
We'll drop him down to the bottom of the sea
We'll sing him down with a long, long roll
Where the sharks'll have his body
and the devil have have his sooooooooooooul!
[Syl moves 15' closer to the melee.
Mind Sliver: The target must succeed on a DC 14 Intelligence saving throw or take 5 psychic damage and subtract 4 from the next saving throw it makes before the end of your next turn.]
PC - Ethel - Human - Lvl 4 Necromancer - Undying Dragons * Serge Marshblade - Human - Lvl 5 Eldritch Knight - Hoard of the Dragon Queen
DM - (Homebrew) Heroes of Bardstown * Red Dead Annihilation: ToA * Where the Cold Winds Blow : DoIP * Covetous, Dragonish Thoughts: HotDQ * Red Wine, Black Rose: CoS * Greyhawk: Tides of War
Syl steps up and attempts to reenact scenes from Scanners and make a ghoul's head explode, but with a sea shanty score. It's a bit off... But surprisingly effective as Syl has the Frozen Ghoul grasping their head and shouting in pained anger. (Blue Border to indicate -1 from it's next saving throw...)
Jaylan is too worried about the Orc's feelings to aim straight and his blast goes astray...
---
The remaining Frozen Ghoul lets out a frustrated shout and spreads it's foul undead breath all over the place.
---
Dabbert & Krumar can now go to White Castle... Or, errr... Take their turns.
(Condition reminders…)
Pink Border - Dead.
Yellow Border - Blessed via Raevyn (5 of 10 rounds used)
Grey Border - Jaylan’s Hexblade Curse
