Clas stirs from his slumber. With a practiced efficiency, he rolls up his bedroll, securing it neatly and efficiently. His trusty pack finds its place on his back, familiar weight settled comfortably against him.
With a glance of determination, Clas readies his stalwart companions, Ale and Barrel. But before he moves to join the others at the top of the stairs, a mischievous glint enters his gaze.
His attention turns to Nimblestep, the halfling bard who has found a rather comfortable spot on a cushioned throne. With a hearty chuckle, Clas approaches and playfully rouses the slumbering halfling. "Time to rise and shine, Nim! Your throne isn't going anywhere, but we've got an adventure to continue. Hahahaha!"

Never underestimate the power of a finely crafted barrel, my friend! It is both a vessel of strength and a symbol of resilience.
(OOC: I interpret Nimm as just oversleeping the first short rest and we need to wake him up)
Ardana lets Clas help her to her feet. "I can't believe it is only midday, dungeon delving for hire is tiring. But, we still need to find the cure for Debbian, so we must proceed."
Once everyone is gathered (and Nimm is woken, will let someone else do that), Ardana is ready to lead the way in anticipation of having to lead the flaming sphere to the remaining room for capture. She takes the flag in one hand, hammer in the other, and proceeds down the staircase, with what I assume is the previous marching order otherwise.
"Who has flags now, " Tarysaa looked around at the group. "Ilwythe, Ardana, Clas and Daisy? I am out of torches so these flags are our only light source for now. Do I need to hold one in case Daisy needs to shapeshift again?" She hesitates before continuing, "I have nothing to use against those flaming orbs. I am sorry I am not more useful."
"Here, keep this" Ilwythe passes its flag to Tarysaa. "In the corridors, I'll hold your hand. And if there's going to be a fight... it better be in an area where we can keep our hands free".
In the meantime Ardana descends the spiral staircase, she is greeted by the usual Elky, who asks her if she would like something to eat or drink, while the flaming sphere is not there...
Ignoring the halfling butler (OOC: @Ardana: post something different, if you want to do something else), the heroic paladin returns to search for the flaming sphere in the position it was in the first time... and finds it. And, like the first time, she hears a bell ringing and the images of the bas-reliefs begin to repeat their invitation to leave the place before the arrival of the security patrols.
Ardana also ignores the alarm and lures the flaming sphere into the trap agreed with Clas, yelling to warn him when it's time.
The coordination of the group, combined with the much better mobility of its elements, allows you to capture even this fiery menace.
And now? Where to go? The other corridor from the southern alcove?
With a hearty grin, Clas offers his congratulations to Ardana. "Well done, Ardana! You've got a knack for putting fiery foes in their fireplace! Hahahaha!"
Turning to the rest of the group, he raises an eyebrow playfully. "Now, my friends, we've got another corridor calling our names. Who's up for a bit more exploration?" His words carry a playful tone. With a chuckle, he adds, "I promise, no more fiery surprises… at least until we get there! Hahahaha!"
Clas heads off toward the last unexplored corridor.

Clas arrives at the turning point... but there he notices something strange: throughout the new stretch of corridor, the stone (of walls, ceiling and floor) has a lot of cracks - so numerous that they make the stone look like a spiderweb! A few fragments have also fallen, but, at least, the stability of the passage is not in danger.
Hey, everyone, take a look at this! It's like the stone decided to take up weaving. The corridor's covered in cracks that give it a bit of a spiderweb look. Nothing to worry about in terms of stability, though. Looks like we're safe to proceed but keep an eye out for any surprises. Like me running from silk-robed giant spiders! Hahahaha! Clas proceeds down the corridor, Barrel at the ready.

Tarysaa carefully checks the damage to the rock (OOC: Yes, that is the spot), while Clas passes intrepidly.
Indeed, nothing happens to Clas (or to whoever follows him)... and the conclusion of the elf wizard is that the most probable cause must have been a sudden very intense thermal excursion - that can split the stone in this way... But whatever caused it, it evidently did it a long time ago.
Meanwhile, Clas leads the party deeper into the heart of the complex, finding different possibilities to continue the exploration... One door and three passages.
(OOC: Anyway, I'm granting inspiration to Class for his continuous intrepid mapping efforts, in spite of many dangers lurking)
Nim wakes up groggy and unsere of his surroundings forgetting that he is on an adventure and quickly rushes to follow the party as they descend the stairs.
Downstairs he follows and clings to his best companion Clas and when they come to the menagerie of doors he steps from around Clas and pulls open the first door (A).
Hahahaha! Holding Nim by the hand and Barrel in the other, letting Nim hold the yellow flag, Clas pulls Nim back as the halfling reaches for the first door. Bad Halfling! Hahahaha! Brave and foolish is my job. Hahahaha! But I like your spirit Nim, you’re a fine adventurer! HaHahaha! Clas pulls Nim along down the corridor and away from any doors they discover.
Daisy follows a bit behind the two trailblazers. However, when she steps into the new hallway she pauses.
"Didn't that Elky say that we need to say something when we go this way?" The dwarf stands atop the mosaic to recall the ghostly halfling's words. "'Leave loneliness, later; remember lore, really!" She waits to see if reciting the phrase causes any sort of changes to her surroundings.
(OOC: If Elky is still around, Daisy will ask him what 'other alcove' he was referring to.)
"We also need to keep an eye out for some purple flags if we need to go to the prison... Though, I hope we can skip that part of the tour. No telling what remains in there," she calls to those who proceeded down the hallway.
Daisy repeats Elky's formula flawlessly, but nothing happens... Nothign that can be seen, at least.
In the meantime, after having stopped Nim from opening a door, Clas keeps leading the exploration of the hallways.
While walking that last west-east corridor, Clas and all who follows him should do a Perception check. The outcome is not blocking, anyway, so you can also decide then next way to explore.
Nim’s inquisitive paw is led away from the door handle as Clas pulls him away and he resides to a skulking expression as he follows along not knowing what lies beyond the door.

Do you intend to proceed this way all the same?
(( OOC: I am assuming this is where we are now? ))

If Clas communicates his observations and concerns to the group, Tarysaa will volunteer to examine the area. [ Investigation: 19 ]
