She'll move to the southern passage to peek down there as far as she can see as well, then giiiiiiiingerly (I mean, like, staying waaay back until she's sure it's safe to walk cause we're not gettin' on that ride again...) walks to the shore of the southern stream to see how far she can see.

Kalhala coughs a bit as he gets rid of the water and covers up his bit of a scare when it was just Berkarak that had hold of him. "You got that right Berk! And I wasn't about to let you do that fun ride alone!"He claps his friend on the shoulder as they start heading out.
He checks his things over and notices that his dagger and one of his handaxes is missing. He stops dead, and then checks again. Looking up to his friends, "I... I gotta find it, these handaxes were a gift from my brother. My brother, he.. well, we aren't that close, but this was the one gift that.." and unable to finish the sentence, he turns and dives back into the pool to look for his missing items.
Perception: 17(if you want investigation, subtract 2)
Lehmani - Checking the southern passage to the right, you see that this long, narrow cavern is half-filled with an underground river, flowing along at a rapid pace. A narrow ledge on the north side overlooks the river. A bridge of stone spans the river, leading to a larger ledge on the south side that follows the course of the river to the east.
As your gaze pauses momentarily on the bridge to admire its craftsmanship, something briefly breaks the surface of the water beneath it. It's hard to tell exactly what it was, but your general impression was that it was BIG and moving eastward with the current of the river.
Kalhala - The dim light from Zubien's torch doesn't penetrate the inky depths of the pool at all. Blindly searching the bottom of the pool, you find nothing, though you do feel a slight pull on your body, as if a current is drawing you in its direction. Perhaps your handaxe flowed that way?
Zubien will move up to the northern door, look to see if it has moved lately, or any tracks near the door showing use: Perception; 19 Investigation: 11
Grymar walks 10 feet or so to the southwest, at the area of narrowing in the water stream, bends down and fishes through the water for Kalhalla’s hand axe. (Passive perception 17) “Whatcha see down there Lehmani?” he calls out.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Lehmani studies the rushing water carefully near the bridge, dropping to one knee and granting herself Guidance In hopes of getting a better look..
"I'm not entirely sure..." She replies. "The river continues onward to the east. There's a bridge here that crosses over it... along with something in the water."
(Perception: Nat 20 + 3 on the guidance for a total of 27!)
Zubien - You see no tracks near the door and upon closer inspection you find it swollen and jammed in its frame from dampness.
Grymar - Fishing around for the handaxe in the stream, you suddenly feel a tugging on your glove, then a sharp pain. Withdrawing your hand you find a fish with a mouth full of short sharp teeth gnawing on it. You're able to remove the quipper, but take 1 point of piercing damage.
You then notice something strange further downstream, it appears as if the water is boiling or churning. Suddenly, a quipper leaps from the water and plops back into the stream, further north. Then another, and another. You watch as a swarm of quippers boil their way upstream toward the pool where injured Berkarak and Kalhala are searching for the handaxe.
Berkarak - You have no luck finding the axe either.
Lehmani -
The large dark shape continues eastward, past the range of your darkvision, but before it does you see a spray of water as a horned reptilian head briefly breaks the surface and takes a breath, followed by a scaled torso with four limbs and wings held against it, and finally a long black tail lashing back and forth behind it, propelling it downstream.
Berkarak will head a bit further towards the stream and even into it, following the water flow but not so far if the pull would overtake him. He continues to search for Kalhala's axe (investigation(disadvantage)+guidance 16)
Lehmani rushes back to the others, calling out in a loud stage-whisper, "Everyone, out of the water! There's some sort of monster in the river, downstream. I don't think it knows we're here but we'd probably to well to keep it that way."

“Ouch! Get outta the damn water!” Grymar shouts, animated. “Bitin fish in there, the bastards! A there’s a whole school of em waitin to bite your ass off, get outta the water!” Grymar backs away, but directs his comments at Kalhalla and Berkarak.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
At Lehmani's urging, Berkarak reluctantly starts back toward the edge, still casually searching for the axe. When Grymar starts shouting about an imminent threat, Berkarak more hurriedly gets out of the water. "I think I'm done with water for a bit."
Berkarak - You find no trace of the handaxe during your search, though the pull of the current suggests that it likely flowed downstream. You're able to clear the water before a churning swarm of quippers passes through the spot you were wading in.
Lehmani - A few shoulder drives into the doors frees them from their frames, they open begrudgingly, rusted hinges creaking loudly in protest. The southern room appears bare, revealing a low chamber of dressed stone. A few puddles stand throughout the empty space, fed by drips falling from the ceiling. The northern chamber is filled with what appears to be rotten food—barrels of salted meat gone bad, sacks of flour or grain covered in russet-colored mold, tuns of cider turned to vinegar. Two open archways in the east wall lead to a similar room, and two more openings are dimly visible beyond. This area appears to also suffers from drippy ceiling syndrome, as evidenced by the poor state of the food stuffs and patches of wet stone in various spots.
Kalhala tries again to find the treasured axe, before the calls of biting quippers and large monstrous creature hit his ears..
Perception: 14
And knowing it is lost, his shoulders slump profusely as he drags himself out of the pool of water, constantly stealing looks back to the water and looking defeated. He sees Lehmani work at a door and he starts heading that way, his mood greatly soured.
Lehmani visibly sinks when she sees the state of the rooms behind the doors..."Or, perhaps not.... Well, we can continue across the bride and risk whatever that creature is. Are you folks up for a potentially harrowing battle?" she says, seeming not entirely certain herself.
