And back to the direction where the metamorphosed roper flew off... "Change though... It did change, didn't it... I have no idea what that creature was, and yet..."
She looks at her own hand, opening and closing the palm as if seeing the substance of her own flesh for the first time. "...somehow I can tell that whatever just happened wasn't entirely natural... And I think it's because, well..." She looks back to the others. "I feel changed too."
She shakes her head steadily, looking down at the floor, appearing unsettled. "Those feats I performed... Disappearing and reappearing... Summing that... whatever it was... that sound. I've never done anything like that before. Not even close. And I have a deeply troubling feeling those powers weren't the work of my lord, the Gearsmith."
She looks around, hesitating to say what she's about to say, "Perhaps this is mad to suggest but... do you think this place... something about it... changes things that dwell within it?" As she says the words, she feels a shiver go up her spine. Orcs and monsters and dungeons deep are one thing but this... This is a force of magic she doesn't understand... Something that might already have profoundly, perhaps permanently effected her. She grows silent and pale at the thought....

Grymar walks up dazed, breathing heavy, looking at Lehmani, saying “No, I didn’t hear any words. That was.. one of the craziest things that I ever have seen. I canna explain it.” He picks the pouch off his side, starts to speak to the little bees inside, focusing on them, then turns back and says ‘Nope, they never heardna of anythin like this either. We are off the map here boyo. Whoooo weeee!” He bends down and picks up his javelins that he threw earlier.
When he hears the rest of Lehmani’s words, he says “I felt tha same… and how could I? Was it something that thing did? This place did? I closed my eyes, feeling and seeing my doom approaching, knowing that he was gonna pop me into that ugly mouth of his, I closed my eyes and imagined myself somewhere different, a mist came over me…. then there I was! Free and ready to fight! I can’t explain it. Beyond me and my ken…”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Kalhala is too busy worrying over the big gash that roper bit into him that he almost misses the transformation of it.. but the rest? He just stands there open mouthed and stunned. "Words? What are you talking about?" He puts his large hand upon Berk's shoulder, "Are you ok? This cave sure is doing a number on you. Metamorphawhatsit?" He shakes his head. "Some fresh air and sun is what you need."
Listening to Lehmani and Grymar talk about their new abilities... "Yeah, that was crazy, I thought... well I thought that thing had just made you disappear! I was so relieved to see you standing away from it." His eyes go wide as realization dawns on him, "You mean, you can do that at will?? Make yourselves disappear and reapper where you want?? Whoa..."
Lehmani shakes her head. "Not entirely at will... At least I don't think... I feel rather spent from it. Might need a rest before I can try something like that again, but it certainly worked in a pinch." Stepping back to the end of the room, looking into the passage beyond she asks, "Should we venture onward, lest we risk that creature returning?"

“Should we go into those doors that you found, Berkie? I agree with you’uns, let’s get away from here in case that strange whateverinthehellitwas returns….” Grymar looks back toward the passage that Berkarak was moving down, proposing that they go that way.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Berkarak enters the first open cell and looks around at the walls, floor, ceiling, and door for anything interesting. (Investigation(dis)+guidance 11 )
Berkarak - You find nothing of note in the first cell, but when you exit it you see a peculiar patch of muck in the short hallway. Nudging it with your boot, you see a key shaped object slide through the grime.
Lehmani - You hear no reply from beyond the cell door.
Lehmani catches the key but hesitates before opening the cell... "Locked with no one inside... So, what do we think's behind there? Trap? Treasure? ...a passage to another location? Just because we find a door doesn't necessarily mean we need to open it. Correct?"
Lehmani will search the door for any sign of a trap. She'll also feel near the sill of the door to see if she feels any breeze that might suggest a deeper passage beyond. Once she's done, she'll also offer Guidance to anyone willing to make a similar check.

"A copper it's a long decayed corpse of some jailed thief or other scoundrel. Just hold your nose when you open it." And he briefly does just that, but with mage hand. And in case it's approaching 8 hours since he last cast it, he reapplies mage armor.
Lehmani - The begrimed key fits the lock in the door and turns with a satisfyingly weighty CLUNK. The door to the jail cell opens to reveal a jail cell. The skeletal remains of a dwarven prisoner in rusted plate armor lie in the corner.
Lehmani's head swivels to Berkarak... "Words?"
She looks to the others. "Did you hear words?"

Grymar - The first two rooms appear to be jail cells and are empty. The third is locked.

“Should we buss it down? Any of ye know howta open this lock all tricksy like?” Grymar looks like he's getting ready to smash through it.

She turns and knocks on the cell door. "Hello... Is anyone in there?"

Lehmani - No sign of traps nor any tell-tale breezes to be found wafting across the sill.
Lehmani sighs. "Alright then... I do hope I don't regret this."
She attempts to unlock and open the cell with the key.
