As none of you was able to figure out the stick, it is the best to consult magic with magic. Tryncaryn determined via Detect magic ritual that this is a magical wand, and by identify ritual he was able to grasp the essence of the item and now know that this is: Wand of Secrets.
Dwarves reply to you: -Who said anything about any treasure elf boy? We are here for history! - says outraged Norbus
-Relax Norb, it is how likes of them think about places like that. This place is a temple to the dwarven god. We are here to learn more about it, that is what we do. Yes, your help would accelerate our work. We will leave when we are done, and to be perfectly honest this god was known for his greed so we do expect to find at least some remaining treasure. How about that offer. We will give you our sending stones. In addition to that you bring whatever you found there and we split it in two halvesm one for us and one for your team. How's that? - Dazlyn explains situation further.
-Yes, how about that treasure, you will get some of your treasure that you only think about. - Norbus rants
- Norb we are stuck, we need then and they deserve payment.
- I don't need them. Maybe you need them.- says Norbus and act grumpy for the rest of the evening.

Goraseth sits and starts sharing his rations with his friends and the two dwarves. "You have my ears. I love to hear about gods and demi-gods. I am a humble servant of Bahamut, Lord of the North Wind. Which dwarven god are you referring to ?"
"Norbus, we won't be stepping on your toes for too long. We're just here to bring you the warning, then we're off again to prepare the shelter in Axeholm, the dwarven stronghold, for the people of Phandalin, should the dragon arrive and attack. We are willing to help you out here for a couple of hours tomorrow morning, then you're alone again. So don't worry too much about our presence." Tharanau also eats his ration. Offering some food to Norbus and making a mental note to buy some ale or something stronger for these evenings around the fire place.
Tryn rejoins the group over dinner and happily shares his newfound insight into the mysterious stick. "This place must be full of artefacts," he concludes and nods along with Tharanau's statements.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Progo staied hidden for the start of interactions with the dwarves, so was last to show him after he was convinced the dwarves meant no immediate threat. Mention of treasures caught Progos ears and interest but what really pulled Progos intest strings were these jellies. He didn't know anything about them, but the aspiring alchemist knew that ingredients where hard to come by and unlikely sources. These jellies sounded like something that could be made into some ingredient form to sell or use for some leverage to trade for knowledge. "Progo will help with these jellies, what can you tell Progo about them? Progo will accept offer to share camp, with those no good goblins about. Would you happen to have and vials among your excavation equipment?"
Progo will talk to Goraseth about trying to work together on training Progo with some heavier equipment before calling it a night. "It has come to Progos attention that Progo will have many more instances in the future with up close altercations and Progo feels that perhaps a fella infamous person of importance could assist Progo in expanding Progos arsenal of abilities?"
- Mhm, mister Dragonborn i was referring to Abbathor - The Great Master of Greed, The Trove Lord. Some say that he represents major weakness of dwarvenkind - greed. I don't like generalization, and believe that anyone can have such weakness. So that is his old Temple. The legend says, Abbathor himself caused an avalanche that was end of this place because he found sacrifices lacking, and those of the priest that survived were turned into formless living mass. Who knows, maybe these jellies are his priests living in this state for many years. Well, if you think of it that way, i would say killing them is mercy. But you never know what part of legends is true, and that seems unlikely.
Dazlyn gives a little lecture on the matter.
- Yes we got some vials, and are willing to sell if you are looking to buy boy. 1 gold a piece!
Norbus seems a little less grumpy seeing opportunity to make coin.

I don't like to boast but I was the mentor of many young warriors in Chult that became champions". Goraseth cannot hide the pride of showing to Progo some moves and the usage of heavy equipement, before going to bed.
During the sparing, he asks "So Progo, tell me again. Where did you learn to be such a sharpshooter ?"
After he realises what it is, Tryn decides to test the Wand of Secrets. He excuses himself while rubbing his legs and says he goes for a short stroll. Without straying too far off the camp (he stays within 60 feet and takes a torch, he's not trying to hide or anything), he moves to a place that looks like a dwarf-made wall, or an altar, or in absence of either he searches a place near some random walls (as much as he can get within 30 feet of him) and activates the wand. "Let's see if there are any secrets around," he mutters in a low voice half to himself.
