Progo curses at himself for not seeing the spiders earlier, one of his biggest worries is attacks from above and is almost always where he watches for danger. Now with the torch light he clearly sees a spider where his friends are going. "Here's a nice fly for your web". Progo plants his feet and aims in at the spider. (BA Steady Aim, movement 0)
Ray of frost from Tharanay, beating from Tryncaryn and a final shot from Progo obliterates orange spider whose limp body falls on the ground from the ceiling. Goraseth places himself to block spider from reaching Tryn. Rayce summons her army and stands her place (equipping a shield takes an action so it wont happen this turn).
Some of the spiders were able to hide in the shadows and now emerge to attack what seem to be a lot of meat in cans (rayces soldiers illusion) Two of the spiders attack Goraseth but are unable to find openings in his defense. One of the spiders waits for Rayce to come to her and attacks from hiding but his anticipating of her movement was not great as he rarely encounters old ladies. (rest of the hidden spiders wasted their advantage from hide to try and attack illusion).
/most of the spiders are on the ceilling but it does not matter much since they occupy 10ft square space and you do 5ft space square so when ceilings are 15ft you all can be melee anyway./ /mind that i placed Tharanau and progo on the map, but that is just so you two know your placement below. You are not in the chamber you are under it./ /spiders with (n) marked had shot their web as an attack/

Happy that with help he could bring down one of the spider quite quickly, Tryn moves forward to the next one (H7). He makes sure to select one that is near the holes in the floor, too, (spider 5 - violet). He engages in melee and batters the spider with his staff (hit 19 for 8 damage) and a kick (hit 15 for 7 damage).

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Goraseth keep an eye on his camarades and sees that they are working very together. His brings back his focus on the three spider in front of him, his duty was to make them busy long enough so his friends were not under pressure. He tries to hit the large spider in front of him (Black): "Ahhhh this is a good challenge ! It does remind me of my days in the coliseum of Port Nyanzaru !"
Action Attack Black spider: 17 for 10 damage piercing No bonus Action No Mvt
Rayce grits her teeth and curses when she realizes how many spiders there are.
She moves to G9 and attacks the spider that tryncaryn is already fighting.
action: 16 to hit and 10 damage and +6 sneak attack damage (max damage for Rayce!)
She maintains concentration on the illusion just in case it still distracts the spiders. The illusory soldiers turn into a swarm of bats that hopefully make a tempting target for spider webs for any spiders that haven't figured it out yet..
Tharanau decides to climb the rope. He then makes his way towards the back and away from the scary beasts (towards J9). On his way he shoots the purple spider with a ray of frost (15 to hit, dmg 6 - 10ft less movement if hit)
Progo tosses his bow up and climbs the rope, seeing the number of spiders in the tight space, he pulls out his raiper and will charge at the purple one.
(Would Progo have enough action left to reach and attack, woukd need to draw raiper still?)
Tryncaryn does a great job at battering spiders and allowing others to finish them. Rayce sees that opportunity and guts the spider from behind and gets bathed in greenish blood of it. Goraseth does a good job at keeping some at bay while also being able to do some harm. Tharanau moves only to I9 (we need to take into consideration movement of climbing) was a little late to the party of killing the purple spider and in ast second of casting changed his target to pink one (unless you want to change the target then let me know). Progo using 15 movement to climb and then purple spider is gone already, you wont have enough movement to get in melee, so consider using that bow that round :) (and you still have 15 movement after climbing.)
Spiders (that are all rolling baaaaad) are not able to land an attack. Goraseth moves like a god of of the arena with his excellent calculated moves that allows him to repel every attempt of attack and even include some of his retribution to the equation. Rayce does amaze everyone how she holds her position in battle. Only unlucky one was Trynacryn that got shot by a swirl of Spider Net (16 to hit) getting restrained in it. (Teal or Turquise? spider got you from afar and then came closer)

Goraseth is pleased with his stance, the spiders have struggled so far to land a hit on him. He glances quickly towards his friends "Are you alright there ?" While waiting for the answer, he swirls quickly his weapon and thrust it into the black spider.
Tryn holds up his staff in vain to deflect the webbing. On second thought, it was a silly idea to do that against a web but well here he is. Not much time to think things through in a battle, now is there? Anyway, now he got stuck in this sticky web and can barely move his staff. After a fruitless attempt he lets go of the staff and draws his dagger to cut himself free of the web (hit 12 for 7 piercing damage, I believe he freed himself from the restraint, please confirm). Being able to move again, he directs a kick at the spider that surely must have taken him for a defenseless, stupid giant fly! (Hit: 22 for 5 bludgeoning damage) “All good,” he finally responds to Seth, “Cleaning the webbing, hasn’t been anyone here for a while, I’d wager!”
Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Tharanau slinks more into the shadows (J9) and quickly looks around this side of the room. Mostly to make sure there is not another danger waiting there for them (perception roll of 23 if needed).
Then he attacks the pink spider again (to hit 14 for 2 dmg).
He wonders if he should bring bigger attacks to this fight, as his rays of frost are not doing much damage. However, so far the spiders have proven them not too difficult.
(Progo will just pick up the bow he tossed up and stay where he was to finish his turn last round, does the webbing effect his shots? I know it's considered rough terrain so just wanted to check.)

Now realizing just how many spiders there are up here, Progo starts back in with his bow. Spring his feet, he waits as a strike opens up through the webs and let's an arrow fly towards the teal one. (BA Steady Aim)

Goraseth is in his mental zone defending against multiple beasts and stinging from time to time. Tryncaryn thanks to his quick thinking releases himself from web and punishes his captor. Tharanau is effectively harrasing same spider. Rayce hexes one of the spiders and readies herself for more slashing. Progo once up starts the deadly unleashing of arrows, first one resulting in painful squirming of one of the spiders. /all of your attacks hit but none spider died this round/
3 spiders around Goraseth are trying to be a danger for him but it is all for nothing. Teal spider is trying his best to secure a meal out of this fight and manages to bite Tryncaryn (19 to hit) for 11 piercing damage and pumping his poison in Tryns body (DC 11 Constitution save: success is 3 poison damage and failure is 6 poison damage.) Blue spider was not able to get a hold of Rayce, but he made her jump right in front of pink one bite (20 to hit) for 11 piercing damage and pumping his poison in Rayces body (DC 11 Constitution save: success is 4 poison damage and failure is 8 poison damage.) /after that roll also constitution save for maintaining concentration on hex/
Positioning did not changed.

"Ha!" Tryn yells at the spider that just caught her teeth in a spectral shield after he cast Shield into her open mouth. He uses the spider's confusion to poke at her with his dagger clumsily and nearly lost his grip! (hit 6 - natural 1!) After a short moment of panic, he catches himself and backflips back with a powerful kick at the spider's head (hit 25 crit! for 9 damage).

Rayce was dodge-ing and the attack should be at disadvantage. From the log it looks like it wasn't, can you confirm?
