DC10 Wisdom (Survival): (A) The Mountain Door: This is the front entrance to the first area of Khundrukar, called The Mountain Door. The old dwarf-path leads up to a bare shoulder of rock and then turns into a deep cleft in the hillside. You can see two bestial humanoids standing watch on the ledge that leads to the door. It's hard to tell from this distance what exactly they are.
(B) The Chimney: A natural rock chimney leads down into the caverns below, and a thin stream of smoke rises through it. You can carefully descend down the chimney if you wanted to, but you have no idea where it leads.
(C) The Tunnel: On the other side of the Stone Tooth mountain, a few hundred yards from the Mountain Door, Area A, is a very large tunnel someone has created. It is still passable, and the entrance is choked with brush and debris. There are numerous tracks passing in and out of the tunnel. Another DC10 Wisdom (Survival) check would need to be made to find out what is making these tracks.
(D) The Hilltop: A short hike reveals the top of the mountain, the summit. The view is spectacular, but the hilltop is otherwise unremarkable.
Glancing to my companions, "I also think it's not a wise move to enter the tunnel, no idea how many we might be facing at once. The main doors looks to only have 2 guards. I would think it to be the best option at this point. What do you all think?"

So the chimney has smoke coming out of it correct? If so will the smoke coming out cause us any possible issues? How wide is that chimney also, I'm not as skinny as an elf....

That is correct, and no, it shouldn't cause any problems for you guys, but it is a point of interest in regards to it being an "entrance" other than The Mountain Door.
The shaft is about 80 feet down. The walls are irregular and rough, but slippery. It will require all of you to make DC15 STR (Athletics) rolls to not fall down. If one of you has a rope, the DC becomes 5.
Rummaging around my pack I pull out my rope. "Well I do have some rope but it's only 50 feet worth, does anyone else have rope in case we need more while inside?"

Two more areas to explore, or you guys can head in the entrance at Area A.
"I agree, I believe we should get inside before starting a ruckus...."
With that, I think I will give another shot at exploration... Survival:11

Luthien: “Storm the front door, or sneak in the back (via the chimney)?”
Last to know and first to be blamed...
As a free action, can I regret my life choices?
Correct. The main entrance, The Mountain Door, has two guards standing post, and it's uncertain where the chimney leads to.
Also, is everything ok with everyone? Am I going too fast? Too slow?
Luthien: "I vote for taking the chimney entrance...always better to catch cave dwellers unaware."

I don't want to go too far ahead, but I don't want to drag the game down. I'll wait a bit more.
In the meantime since it looks like we are going the chimney route, what does the shaft look like? Smooth, rough, and can I see how long it is at all?
