"Troglodytes, eh? Never run into'em before. Maybe they'll know something about this place, ya know?" Hardi points down the way leading to area 17. "Maybe we just go take a looky-loo, eh?"

Keeping a weary eye periodically upwards towards the ceiling, watching the two bat-like creatures with concern, Lúthien silently walks over to the troglodyte tracks and inspects them (Survival check: 20). "It appears that they all lead into and out of this river....I think for us to continue on, we need to hop in the river and head downstream."
The tracks and the stream lead into AREA 17. Or, you can head into AREA 21, or AREA 23.
Whatever made the tracks, most likely Trogs, they appear to drink the water, then go back into AREA 17. There are at least 4 or 5 creatures doing this, according to the Survival checks.
Creed nods pointing to Area 17. "Agreed, let's go down see what we can coax from these gentle, or not so gentle folks." He begins following down Area 17.

AREA 17 - TROGLODYTE CAVERN
Floundering through the cold, swift stream, you emerge in a huge cavern. You don't get too wet, the stream is not very deep, but it's the only way into AREA 17 at the moment. The ceiling must be thirty feet overhead, and the far end of the cave is lost in darkness. A foul stench assaults your nostrils immediately. The remnants of butchered game animals hang from crude wooden stakes along the cavern walls, and you spot a pair of orc corpses treated in the same fashion.

Upon entering the cavern, much to their surprise as to how they didn't notice you as you all emerge from the stream. Perhaps they were not expecting visitor, or maybe the DM just rolled poorly. They brandish their claws and make horrible grunting and croaking noises as they roll for initiative and attack you all.
Creed looks at the troglodyte closest to him and says "Is this where you make your home? I know little dirty fairies who have nicer places than this. You should hope a dragon doesn't come in here or else he would burn it to the ground out of principle." He casts Vicious Mockery which is a DC 14 save.

Creed laughs as he insults the trog.
OOC: My apologies, so it doesn't save? I forgot to add the result of the spell. It takes 1 psychic damage and it has a disadvantage on the next roll. Again, my apologies, it's my first time doing combat in a PbP.
