As the party settles in to rest during the night, Elila leans against a tree between the picket for the mules and her sleeping allies. The sun finally sets and twilight blankets the forest. Before Elila even senses anything, the line of mules begin to grow restless. Elila looks over towards them as their restlessness increases to panic. They rear back and yank against the picket line, eyes wild with terror. Elila searches, but she cannot see anything in the darkness.
(Roll iniative. Everyone but Elila starts prone. The shrieking mules will have woken everyone up. Elila can still roll perception to maybe get an idea of what direction the threat is coming from.)
Sooooooooooo is Droop getting an init roll or is he basically useless? (I don't expect him to fight, but it could be useful to have an extra set of eyes and hands...)
(Droop has an initiative of +2. He always fights with disadvantage. He does 1 damage if his unarmed attack hits.)
Elila turns to look at the frantic mules rearing and getting close to breaking their picket line. To the south, the splashing in the stream alerts you to movement and two humanoid shapes can be seen approaching the camp.
Faerie Fire causes any surface, object or creature to glow, making it easier to hit them. So if Kat casts Faerie Fire "on her location" (IE: where she's standing), she will cause everyone near her to get hit by the spell. If the spell hits them, then they all glow, which makes it easier for creatures to attack them.
I believe what you want to do is cast faerie fire at one of the creatures. Unfortunately, they are spread out enough that you can only catch one at a time with the spell.
Is this still what you want to do? IE: cast it at a creature? If so, which one?
Katerielle looks up to the tree's canopy above hear head and casts Faerie Fire to cause the tree to illuminate the little camp and part of the little stream that surrounds it.
One of the humanoids shambles across the stream and begins to climb the bank next to the camp.
(Leek, Rindelk, Elila and Kitryn can now act in Round 1.)
With the light provided by Faerie Fire, the splashing in the stream, the braying of the mules... it doesn't take much for Leek to understand the situation.
Turning into a Direwolf is a bonus action for a Circle of the Moon druid. You still have your movement (you are prone, costs half movement to stand) and your action.
Leek takes last
Watch order is: Elila, Katerielle, Rindelk, Leek.

He can, but if he fights, he always has disadvantage.
Rin init - 19
Kat init - 15
Elila init - 3

Kat casts Fairy Fire at her location!
OOC: Does she need to roll here?

Can we cast it on a tree 30' ahead of me as to not make things awkwards for our party? :)
If all you're looking to do is make light, you can cast it on the foliage of the tree above your head(s).
zzzzz...ZZZZ..
Kat casts it on the foliage ahead.
OOC: Hopefully the light wakes everyone up good

Is Leek aware of what is happening, or are we just waking up from braying mules and what seems to be daylight in the trees???
If Leek is aware, I will tell Droop to stay put in his... um... sleeping bag? Tent? Leaf nest?... Then I will turn into DIREWOLF LEEK.
If Leek is unaware, I will tell Droop to go kick the mules to shut them up and roll back over to sleep.
