Rindelk relays Klednir's findings to the group. Elila takes lead with Kat in tow and move to G12. Rindelk moves to G10 and Klednir stays hovering at J14.
Cowering in the shadow of an old tree is a crumbled stone cottage with no roof. Weeds are rampant here. Elila stands in what would have been the doorway to this cottage and looks inside.
Klednir flies above these ruined, side-by-side cottages that look as though they might have been the homes of prosperous shopkeepers or well-off farmers in their time. All that remains are collapsed walls and piles of debris. Several young trees have grown up in the midst of the ruins.
The party follows Elila's lead as she weaves southward between the crumbling cottages. Ahead flying above, Klednir can see an intact cottage with windows shuttered and doors closed.
As Elila rounds the southern corner of the crumbling cottage, a dead shrub resembling one of the very numerous and common shrubs growing everywhere begins to shift and move. Branches stretch out and converge to form arms which push against the ground while roots pull themselves out and converge to form legs. The diminutive humanoid form resembling a marionette barely larger than a child takes on an aggressive posture and makes a call resembling a lot of twigs breaking all at once. Nearby, several more of the dead shrubs react to the call and begin to form and pull themselves out of the ground.
The little twig creature that Elila saw pull itself out of the ground and call out, moves next to Elila and tries to rake claw like hands across her legs...
Twig Attack: 10 Damage: 4
... barely even scratching her armor, let alone causing any form of injury. Droop wimpers and throws himself next to the stone wall, trying to bury himself in the detritus.
When moving Moonbeam, picture a circle with a 60 foot radius from the start point of the moonbeam. You can move your moonbeam anywhere inside that circle regardless of path, that you can also see from your position.
Concentration means 2 things:
You can only concentrate on one spell at a time. If you want to cast another concentration spell, you have to drop the first one.
Each time you suffer damage, you have to roll a CON saving throw to maintain your spell. The DC is half the damage you suffer, or 10, whichever is higher.
So, for the movement, I move the moonbeam 30 feet from me. But instead of going in a straight line, the moonbeam criss crosses and hits 3 enemies. Is that possible??? Or if I say I move it 30 feet away, it jumps from where it is to the new point without hitting anything?
Kitryn is the first to react to this little plant creature. She rushes forward and slashes savagely, easily cutting it down in her first swipe. From her vantage point, Kitryn can see two others inside the crumbling remains of the cottage (to the north).

Elila and Klednir roll Perception checks.
Rolling perception checks:
Elila looks into the remains of the cottage, she sees no signs of recent occupation, contents or activity.
Klednir, flying up above, sees two other crumbing cottages, choked thick with brushes and other growth.
Where do you go next?
Elila and Kat move to G18. Rindelk moves behind them. Klednir goes as far ahead as he can towards k22.
The party follows Elila's lead as she weaves southward between the crumbling cottages. Ahead flying above, Klednir can see an intact cottage with windows shuttered and doors closed.
Well, if there are any survivors that would be where to find them. Let's go to that one!
Move Kled to ~S21.
Elila Kat and Rin move in the same formation towards the door to the house. Rin casts detect magic.

When it is Leek's turn, he will cast Moonbeam. I will cast it directly atop one of the little shits.
QUESTION: After turn one, when I move it, does it have to go in a straight line?
QUESTION: If I concentrate, does that mean I can't take any other actions?

Moonbeam doesn't work that way. It only does damage on the start of the creatures turn, or if the creature moves into the beam on its turn.
move to i20

Attack: 18 Damage: 2
