(Even if I was a hardass and didn't allow the two of you to coordinate your attacks, you could move, and hold the attack until Elila catches up. Only way that wouldn't work is if Elila decided to go somewhere else.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The coordinated attack between Dire Wolf Leek and Elila cause a pair of devastating wounds to the Drow, who is still able to go on fighting.
22 - Katerielle
17 - Rindelk
15 - Drow
14 - Kitryn
11 - Snarl
10 - Leek
10 - Elila
8 - King Grol <--- HERE
A very bloodied King Grol watches the drow flee and roars in frustration. He turns to Kitryn who is well on her way to killing him and tries to shove her prone...
Kitryn Athletics check 18 vs. King Grol Athletics check: 14
Kitryn is knocked prone and King Grol races after Leek, Elila and the Drow.
(Kitryn gets an attack of opportunity, but at disadvantage for being prone)
"I still have your Dog here, You gutless coward!" Katerielle yells after the fleeing king grol. She points at the dog and orders it with, "You Sit!" while holding her right arm in the same position she has had to use Thorn Whip on it the last twenty seconds. Using Animal Handling13to try to stop the dog from attacking Kitryn and helping king grol, or just sufficiently confuse it.
Disadvantage for Animal Handling because King Grol commands Snarl in Goblin, not Common (or Katerielle's other languages): 15
(I'm all for enabling players to come up with clever solutions, but I feel I have to balance it with some sense of continuity. Using Animal Handling to make an enemy animal stand down in the heat of battle without sharing a common language would be pretty hard in my mind. I'll give you inspiration for trying something clever, but it won't work this time.)
The drow feels it would have a decent chance of escaping a heavily armored goliath, but not a dire wolf. It concentrates it's attacks on the Dire Wolf...
DIrewolf Leek, emboldened by his sudden growth spurt, tries to clamp onto the drow's hand holding the map and attempts to rip the entire arm from its socket.
Direwolf Leek Finish Her arm rip move: Attack: 20 Damage: 9
(Please remember the knockdown on a successful hit!)
Snarl is too occupied with Kitryn to notice the vine whip out and wrap around his hind leg. The vine then pulls Snarl up next to Katerielle and leaves a bleeding gash.
(Rindelk's turn... who has wandered back to the castle and can now see the melee between Leek, Drow and Elila.)
Doing his best to hit the Drow without hitting the large form of Dire Wolf Leek, Rindelk errs too much on the side of caution and misses the drow, leaving a scorch mark on the castle wall.
The Drow continues its assault on Leek...
Slam Attack: 10 Damage: 5
Slam Attack: 25 Damage: 6
... and hits once, but hard. Leek and Elila can't help but wonder how an unarmed Drow is hitting so hard.
(Even if I was a hardass and didn't allow the two of you to coordinate your attacks, you could move, and hold the attack until Elila catches up. Only way that wouldn't work is if Elila decided to go somewhere else.)
"Running away?! Coward!"
Elila gives chase and does a lunging thrust.
Attack: 26 Damage: 16
"Sooner or later, your Players are going to smash your railroad into a sandbox."

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"

(Leek and Elila's turns)

(Please remember the knockdown on a successful hit!)
Dire Wolf Leek grabs the drow by the arm and thrashes...
DC 13 STR saving throw: 15
... but the drow grimaces and tears her arm out of Leek's jaws, managing to stay on her feet.
(Waiting on Elila. And Rindelk if he wants to use his movement this turn to get in range to do something.)
My mistake. Elila already attacked this round.
King Grol yells at the Drow to return the map while stepping up to Elila, taking a swing...
Morningstar Attack: 24 Damage: 18
... but Elila is aware and keeps moving to make herself a hard target.
(Katerielle next)
Katerielle attacks the dog Snarl with Thorn Whip cantrip attack 15 hopefully for 1 damage and a 10 foot pull.

I see the conflict ahead and prepare fire bolt to defeat this drow!

(Kitryn's turn)
Kit stands up and moves over to snarl and Kat who wrapped it in her thorn whip. "BAD DOG!" she says as she stabs down with both swords.
Main: 9 for 3
offhand: 17 for 3
Sneak Attack Dmg: 7
Kitryn stands up and jumps onto Snarl, driving both short swords into the back of the wolf, killing it.
(Leek and Elila's turns)
So what happens when I lose all my wolf hitpoints? I revert back to Leek and any excess damage spills over?
