You can use Wild Shape as a bonus action and you can use a bonus action to expend one spell slot to regain 1d8 HP per level of the spell slot expended.
Rindelk moves up the stream and once the drow is in view, casts a spell. Once again the flaming sphere appears and slams into the back of drow, who dodges the worst of it. The drow barks out commands as the hobgoblins begin to move, and they respond by coming to the drow's aid.
Hobgoblin 2 draws his longsword, holds it two handed and charges Leek, swinging for a devastating blow...
Longsword Attack: 23 Damage: 18
Hobgoblin 1 moves and dashes, looking for a way around the flaming sphere.
The hobgoblin, even with shield slung to its back, easily swats Panther Katerielle's muzzle away, avoiding the bite.
A third hobgoblin appears from around the corner to the north and decides to stay away from the large flaming sphere, dashing to gang up on the panther.
(Just to confirm... you will have to DROP you weapon - in the stream - to be able to draw your crossbow and still shoot it in the same turn. Is that what you want to do?)
I have this:
You can use Wild Shape as a bonus action and you can use a bonus action to expend one spell slot to regain 1d8 HP per level of the spell slot expended.
I still missed my attack though.

(A Dire Wolf has 14 HP. Leek should be back to Leek form, and take a further 4 dmg.)
Edit: Also, if you (Leek) ends his turn next to the flaming sphere, he takes damage too.
