This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing as the creature is currently on the east side of the crevasse, Elila and Kitryn make their way south on the west side. Leek, begins to cross the bridge when it suddenly collapses!
Falling bludgeoning damage: 4 (already applied to character sheet)
Once inside the crevasse, Leek remarks that it feels unnaturally cold, but not so much that it would be life threatening. The crevasse is full of rubble and moving across it is difficult, but climbing out the other side is not a challenge. Rindelk and Katerielle, seeing Leek fall and then climb out, decide to cross by walking down into it and then back up the other side. Both of them also note the unnatural cold and Rindelk also feels the necromantic magical aura from his Detect Magic spell.
The southern tunnel is not as well lit as the interior chambers of the cellar or cavern and near the end the tunnel walls are more dirt and roots than stone. At the end, daylight can be seen filtering through some kind of thicket. Pushing this thicket aside, you climb out of the tunnel into daylight surrounded by the trees of a forested area.
Ugh. This seems like we are going the wrong way. I thought this was going to lead us into more Redbrand areas, so we could bring one back alive and feed the creature and have an "ally" instead of getting into a battle. But heading into the forest or back to town seems like a waste of time. I vote we head back, tell the creature there was nothing this way and that we will head a different way to find food for it. If it decides to attack us, we fight. If it doesn't, then we continue exploring, find a redbrand, bring him back to it and continue finishing our main mission. That's my vote.
Leek has the right idea, I don't fancy a direct fight with that thing, but it is surely protecting the man behind the redbrands. We either feed and placate it or risk having it and redbrands against us in the next fight down there. So the immediate question seems front or back door?
Do we assume that going north might lead us to a back way to the redbrand room where we cornered people? Should we head that way? AND, when we catch a redbrand we need to strip them before giving them to this thing. It is protecting them too so it will probably not appreciate we trying to give one to it.

OOC: You all walked up the 'main' road to the manor when you first went in. The stairs you took led to the cellar, where the redbrands barricaded themselves in a room. You're now outside again, in the woods to the south. There's nothing stopping you from walking back to the road and going back into the cellar the same way you did previously.
I would prefer not having my mind fouled by the voice I've heard in there so short after our escape. I surmise that should give it what it wants. Lets go back through the front entrance and get it something to feed on.
After exploring the southern tunnel, you group expectantly finds themselves outdoors in the woods to the south of the manor. Deciding to avoid contact with the creature without a corpse to appease it, you trek back up to the road and the manor until you once again find yourselves in the kitchen by the stairs leading down to the cellar.
Leek is the only attentive member in the group. Although Kitryn is trying, she is easily distracted and doesn't hear the frantic conversation coming from the cellar below. However, Leek does catch bits of it:
OOC: You would have heard Leek talk to the creature, so you would be grouping up to move south. You can assume Rindelk tells you what he knows.

Perhaps we should head back and talk to the girl in the town who sent us on this mission.

OOC: Your group happens to know where there are definitely 2 Redbrands, apparently cornered into a room.
OOC: Is that the room with the door I blasted?
OOC: Yes.

I agree with Rindelk.
I think we're in agreement, back to the door beside the cistern.

"... these damn lamps..."
"... only fill..."
"... burnt the wick!"
"... it's a wick, it wicks..."
"... get outta here!"
