Katerielle will turn to the others, "This room is unoccupied. It has been a long day and the scimitar will need to bathe a while. How about we head in here and get some rest?" Then she turns to the guardian, " If that if alright with you and the rules here?"
(The sphere can only move 30 feet per bonus action. Moved closer, but no further effect.)
Rindelk fires a firebolt at the drow, but misses, although the moonbeam burns the drow as if it was hit by fire. As the drow falls to the ground, its shape changes to an androgynous blue creature.
(XP: 260 each)
The cavern falls silent save for the splashing of the stream falling into the fissure. Katerielle lies on the floor, bleeding.
(Out of initiative order. Post at will.)
I did give XP for the last battle (the drow/shapechanger + bugbears). It was 260 each.
((Hmm. I am not sure if I recorded that or not.?. If not then that would put Katerielle into 4th level. If I did then Katerielle is still 3rd. If we have all gotten about the same could someone tell me what their total xp is? Katerielle has 2569. Thanks.))
(Most of you haven't been keeping track of your XP. No one has the same amount, and I'm not backtracking into the thread to find out what you should all have. I will admit this is near the end of the module, so for fun's sake, everyone can level to 4 and miraculously get a long rest. Maybe the brazier with the green flame had one last boon to grant?)
(Thanks. That makes it easy. I didn't want to try going through the thread to add up the xp either. It took me two weeks when I joined and its twice as long now.)
Katerielle finishes her rest and memorized spells. Making sure not to disturb Rindelk until after he has done the same she asks him for a piece of paper, a blank page, something to write on, and something to write with. Once she has the items or if Rindelk does not have these items she uses soot and ash from the lamp, her finger and the floor, she writes, " what do you want to do about the guardian?" Under that on the left she writes "attack" on the right "leave alone". Then she shows it to each of the rest of the group awaiting their choice. Once we have decided she destroys the message.
Leek will opt for a third option shoulder shrug. He feels there is no need to kill the creature, but doesn't care either way. (UNLESS: DM. I forgot to ask if the creature has "the look") If it does Leek will vigorously indicate death and will feel shame at his cowardice for not having attacked the creature immediately.
(This creature definitely has the look, but it is spelled to keep it restrained from its true nature. In this state, it makes for an excellent opportunity to study such creatures.)
Katerielle looks twice at Leek "alright. I think that's settled." She looks to Leek again to make sure as she destroys the note." So we can try to deal with the skull, go down the tunnel the drow shapechanger was trying to flee to, or there are a few rooms back down towards where we came in. What are your preferences and in what order? I say the drow tunnel."
The northern room is a separate workspace, and like the main workshop has been almost completely destroyed. There is nothing of interest inside.
Katerielle will turn to the others, "This room is unoccupied. It has been a long day and the scimitar will need to bathe a while. How about we head in here and get some rest?" Then she turns to the guardian, " If that if alright with you and the rules here?"

I guess as long as nobody does anything dumb, we're good here =)
Elila will rest while watching to door, and waiting for the weapon to cook.

Katerielle will try to take a long rest, get some sleep and recover spells.

Thanks GM. Didn"t see the xp in earlier post!

"Live and let live I think," Elila whispers. The creature had caused no harm in spite of its sinister appearance.
She was sure there was plenty more killing to do in the future.

"That's fine with me." Elila responds with a shrug. She stands and double checks her fittings and buckets.

(Waiting to see what Leek does.)
Sorry, been busy.
I'm not sure what Leek would do.
I think Leek will be mulling over this during the long rest. Eventually, near the end of it, he will sneak out of the room STEALTH: 8.
Then he will pick up his scimitar. He will admire whatever new greenish glowing sheen it might have.
He will then turn to the evil creature and slash it with the scimitar. Attack: 19 Damage: 4
